Tim I have never commented on one of your videos, even though I have been a follower since the very beginning (or close to). I am a police officer and more importantly a Christian and I just wanted to personally thank you for your kind words to Devon in this video about being a police officer. I can guarantee that it means a lot to him and his wife and to have you put your support of us out on this platform is truly appreciated. More importantly though, thank you for making and keeping God apart of your videos and family. God bless.
I really appreciate your comment. Please don't be a stranger :-) Fascinating how God provides "clients" to our business. We just keep encountering quality people. I get discouraged watching TV, but we are encouraged by nearly every client we meet, and nearly every comment we read here on our channel. We will continue to put God first.
I totally agree that comment! I’m a Retired officer and Christian/ minister. It seems that both Law Enforcement and Christianity are under fire these days. People don’t realize that for those of us who have been and are currently police officers how much a small bit of support goes a very long way. I’ve been disabled nearly 10 years now from an accident on duty but at heart I’m still an officer. The anger and hostility towards all LEOs these days is overwhelming. All we see are videos of the few bad officers out there. It’s nice to see in this video that police officers are just people like everyone else. We have family and friends and when we’re not working we have hobbies and even do yard work. Lansbach148 I appreciate your service to both the community and to God! TTWT I appreciate your service to God and sharing the gospel and or praying on your channel. It’s hard nowadays to be a Christian. Not naming names but a politician recently wouldn’t vote for a person for a job the President recommended because of his Christianity. He didn’t mix his words he flat out told him he wasn’t able to do the job because the man made a statement years ago that said people who reject Christ are condemned to hell. Now California has proposed a law that would ban the sale of bibles and other books that recognize biblical marriage and any book that says being gay its a sin. I know this is a long comment hopefully I didn’t get off topic I enjoy your videos Tim. Not only because of the aforementioned reasons but also because you show a family dynamic as well. So thanks again to both of You!
Great video and a compelling demonstration of the capability of a grapple. And thanks to Devon for his service to the community, Lawrence wouldn’t be an easy area of town to patrol.
Yeah, the grapple works wonders according to what i have seen u do with it, Christie thanks for the work of helping to bring the images to us i couldn't get enough of seeing the grapple at work.
Hey guys, I just want to let you know that after watching your videos you inspired the wife and I. We just ordered a brand-new 2032r John Deere with six different attachments. Love your videos guys keep them coming thank you!! :-)
That is one hard working little tractor but it is the master musician that makes fine music from the instrument. Great job reclaiming that land for a beautiful space. Would love to see that whole area nice and green right up to that awesome creek.
Wow! This video has to be in the top five TTwT videos for me! I am a huge grapple fan and this video proves just how invaluable it is! Great Job! BTW- I feel bad for the perp who tries to run away from Devin, Pro-Soccer athletes can run forever! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Scout. Good to hear. It will be hard to beat "Grapple does the work of 6 men" for me. I thought that one was great. Then, of course, there is the trip to visit Philip, and the .... oh well, I just love them all. Thanks for continuing to watch and comment!
You did a good job on all those limbs. That was a lot of trees in the creek. Remember when you were helping the lady clean up her yard with the grapple, that’s when I got mine. I use it when I cut firewood. Love the videos, you have the best!!!!!
A grapple and tiller will be my next attachment purchase. Just bought a 2018 1025r a week ago today. Got the package deal with the bush hog, box blade and the 16ft trailer. Loader was part of the tractor price. Tim, your videos inspired me to make the investment to maintain my 4 acres. Really enjoy your videos! 👍🏽😁
Hi Tim, just watched the video. Yes you need to get your self a woodsman helmet, they have a mesh face guard, earmuffs, and hard hat also a pair of chainsaw chaps or pants to protect your legs. You can get all safety gear at any Lowes, most HV or Stihl dealers. Really need to think safety with all the limbs you were dealing with. We had a cousin get hurt about a month ago 4” cut to his face and some broken bones in his face do to a limb that fell out of the tree he was cutting, he is recovering well. Had another friend his father got killed when cutting trees for firewood. Don’t want to see any one get hurt. Nice video keep them coming, God bless. Thanks Jeffrey Misch.
Wow. That was a great grapple demonstration. You really can clean up the brush and uproot small trees with it. Hope Johnny didn't suffer any damage when that limb you cut fell into on the hood. I remember the salesman told me when I bought my 1025 that the hood could withstand a bowling ball dropped on it from pretty high. Thanks for the video I enjoyed it.Y'all take care and God bless.
I blown away as to how well that Grapple works!!Totally amazed that you were able too pick up that extremely large limb. Seems like it was a lot of side force on the loader lift arms? Johnny did a beautiful job. Better than expected. I’m sure Your really going to enjoy a 3or 4 series tractor when that day comes.
My father built a basket that fit on the three point and had a cylinder on the rear scv to raise and lower it. He built it using a heavy duty engine hoist as the base. It has a...I think 15 foot reach and can get us a decent bit into the air safely in the basket. He used strips of steel to create an auto leveling system so as it goes up the basket will tilt and level itself out mostly. It's probably a decent thousand dollars of misc parts most of it being the 3 foot cylinder but it's been pretty handy over the years.
Yep, now I need to buy a grapple. We are closing on our 23 acres at the end of next month and there are several thickets with who knows what inside of them that will need to be cleared out and burned. Job looks great!
That grapple is pretty impressive!! But i think its even more impressive that johnny was able to pick up that long of a tree/branch and still not have to much side load leaning to one side. Awesome good with the work! Hope you guys find your next dream tractor!!
Amen !! Great stuff my friend!! I would comment on Christy getting around so well but I am afraid you might tell me this was pre surgery! But anyway thank you all for sharing !! I could see some great fence posts in those big yellow locust trees after sawing and splitting them !!! You all be safe and God bless you !!!!!!! Eddy
Man you’re selling those sub compacts. I watched another video of a 4 series and he’s talking about how light his tractor is and here comes Tim on the sub compact tearing it up!
Love your videos, don't think I've subscribed yet. I use to subscribe to everything then I got overwhelmed with info. This great real life stuff happening. Many grats to Devon and his wife, wishing many years of happiness!
looks like johnny is saying , Who needs a big brother just give me a chance with the right tools and i will "Git''er done" your experience and skill's are improving Good job Kristy oh and you also Tim
Another great video. I wish I had the room and the finances to have all those great attachments. I can’t complain -after years of dreaming I was finally able to get my own “Johnny” last year👍
Congratulations. You don't need all this stuff to have fun with your Johnny. Our collection is growing, but a lot of it is sponsored product, so it definitely isn't fair to compare your 'hobby budget' with our sponsored budget. Make sense? We were adding attachments much more slowly before this 'fell into our laps'. We are very thankful to our sponsors, and very thankful to God for providing us this opportunity.
Tractor Time with Tim I understand- it is fun to watch and dream😁. I am definitely not complaining about what I have, I have been extremely blessed in my life as well. What you have going is great- you guys deserve all you have. Keep up the great work!
The proper tool for the job makes life a whole lot easier, including a hard hat. Another reason to consider a cab for you next machine I suppose. An enclosed cab helps protect your head!
I have to commend you on the quality of your videos, very informative and interesting. Compare to other videos which breaks down to a narrator talking about himself more than showing the video, after all, it is suppose to be something to watch, it is video.
When (not if) we get our sub compact it will be primarily used for brush removal. A grapple will be a must-have. I understand there is some work to be done to the tractor to accommodate the added hydraulics. Wondering if that is going to be expensive.
Great to see you playing with the grapple Tim! I was watching your technique closely by the way as I'm intending to get an Artillian grapple (Finance committee approved) this Spring. I'm so hot for one that I already ran a spare power wire for it when I installed my Merit electric snowblower chute actuator a few weeks ago.
great job tim .wish my finance commite would come out on the weekend jobs with me .she could help talk to the customers while i worked .wish full thinking, some day maybe.
Titan makes a neat little work platform that you can lift with a set of pallet forks. Check it out! Btw, I ordered a grapple. Don't have a tractor, but I ordered the grapple! Hoping to get the order in tomorrow for the Kioti CK3510 'Super Equipped'!
I watched this 1 last night did a great Job Sir, an i the search for a new mid compact Tractor Kioti seems to be great with the purchase of another Grapple attachment an i know its more $$$$$$
Not sure if it was a waste of 1550.00 but I had the dealer order the 3rd fuction on my 1025r that I'm buying. Figured if I was doing the whole 1025r TLB thing I didn't want to find out later that I wanted that 3rd fuction.
It is really enjoyable when you can do a job that shows such positive improvements. I enjoyed your video, I just wish my finance committee was sufficiently funded to say yes to the grapple. ☺
Great video I’m really impressed by Johnny I’m looking at a tractor and doing what you for a living but more brush cutting and arena work and trees also was thinking a bit bigger tractor but now I don’t know I’d like get into stalls with a back hoe in order to turn the dirt. Also condition the arenas . Do you think Johnny is laboring a lot when you brush hog or rototill I would be doing a lot of that in the arenas and some land nothing to big really I’d say 5 acres or less .
Maybe a field clearing after a flood a few years ago. Got my parts needed to put my grapple in simple mode, [up/down and clamp] have the control unit for full control, [ up/down, curl and clamp.]. More cables and adapters. Nice to have a Parker house near me that makes cables and has adapters. I'm getting my Deer parts from Deer, but converter parts are fair game. Martin
Good video, got lost after being excited to think I could configure my 1023 for a grapple. Is it possible or no? Some of these equipment dealers should offer kits to fit tractor xxxx. Can you help me Tim?
I guess you know from experience of tractor and grapple use the how to and limits to what you can pick up and move. The big limb or tree must of weighed over 500 pounds, yet it seems effortless picking up and driving away and all seemed balanced, even though it looked unwieldy. Continued to be impressed and learn from watching TTWT on possibility and flexability of this tractor and implements. Like all these videos, thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I guess I just happened to grab the tree in the perfect spot. It was balanced nicely. Just eye balled it and guessed. Perhaps we should have used that as the thumbnail!
Use whatcha got. That is our motto. Hopefully we can help show folks what the ‘next step up’ would look like. Then, they can better evaluate if it is worth the money.
Tractor Time with Tim I've got 4 to do tomorrow and have to mow my yard, finally getting some seat time on my 2025r for something other than plowing snow!!!
I'm always amazed at how much work that tractor can do. ... I'd hire a towtruck to pull the tree out of the creek and send the bill to the dufus that dropped it there then plant some flowering shrubberies along it
You do good work! It’s really impressive how much that tractor can lift and move for its size. I noticed you putting a lot of down pressure with the grapple pointed down before clamping. You did this on a previous video too. Was that to press in more brush here?
Not really. I drive in with the grapple flat...it doesn’t get all the ‘stuff’ in, so I ‘dump’ to tilt the grapple. This act brings the front wheels off the ground...I have to raise to get them back down. This act of raising feels counter intuitive since I’m trying to grab stuff on the ground...make sense?
Great job Tim you made short work of that brush i would say it was from a flood but it is looking good the grapple is making me feel like i should of went with green ! LOL i have to get one even if it is for our little Bobcat skidsteer !! have a great weekend and take care God Bless !! Kioti Curt :-)
Wow. Must have been a powerful video if YOU are thinking green!!! Seriously, artillian has an SSQA frame, and I’m sure the diverter would work. You could get it hooked up on your Kioti!
LOL Yes it was i was just on Artillian page thinking what it would take to put it on the Kioti or even if it would work on the Bobcat 463 i just would like it if Kioti would start to come out with more stuff for them like JD and Kubota that is there down side but other than that i still think there are a great little tractor like all of the make and models out there !! Hope there a pt 2 to this video like to see how it turned out i think the first tree was a hedge apple tree ever time i would work a round them as a kid the old AC or TO20 would get a flat !!! LOL But hope you have a great weekend and i sent a FB reply to you just so you know ! God Bless Curt :-)
I bet you get hired back to clean more and till that area. That place will look nice with a little more cleaning. Great video at how easy the grapple makes of the branches. Hope you get invited to the wiener roast LOL
Hey Tim, I hear that new tractor in the background! With some chains, some cable and you could pull those logs out of the creek. That would be both useful and in about five years just beautiful. And yes may God bless that policeman and his wife. My brother spent 32 years working for the Navy, Department of the Interior and under cover for DEA. He would arrive at our house and the first thing was to remove the Glock from his left chest, the .357 magnum from his right leg and put them in his car trunk with his sniper rifle and rifle with a night scope. The worst part were the calls to us to close up our house and car - all the time when there was a contract on his life. He's 82 now and those days are fortunately gone! We only need to see the news lately to see the danger these guys face. My other brother (85) was a Navy Corpsman and in civilian life a volunteer EMT. I told him he had the easy job! The police were first on the scene to deal with a car accident etc. That takes a lot of guts!
Definitely a pole pruner would have come in handy in that scenario Do you have an extra hydraulic function on your 1025R to be able to grab with the grapple?
No telling how many grapples you are responsible for selling after seeing this video. The most perfect tool for what you were doing. The tractor and grapple we're equal to 50 men on this one.
Good rule is to buy a tractor next size bigger then you think you need, in your case you need one 2 sizes bigger. Still pull with a pick up, smaller tractor gets the job done, but larger one with not be worn out or break as much as they get to be 5 yrs old.

Just bought my first tractor a month ago, Kubota BX-23S. The grapple bucket has been worth every penny! Cannot recommend it enough.
That grapple is awesome!
I am really glad to hear you personally thank that mans service in LE. It’s a thankless job and god bless him.
And this is exactly why a property owner needs this type of a machine. Great job

Much more rewarding than fixing a software bug at this point in my life. :-)
It is sort of mesmerizing, I like watching the change from mess to cleared.
That Artillian Grapple is sure earning its keep.
Even more mesmerizing in person.

What a big difference you can make in a couple of hours. Great video Tim, Christi, and johnny
Yea, it goes fast.
This video about sums up what I did all winter on our family farm, only with a big backhoe instead of little johnny, and moving whole trees at a time.
Grapples with that root rake style bottom are awesome for back dragging after cleaning up and getting the dirt nice and smooth.
He is a Brother in Blue. Congratulations Brother.

Nah, no damage. Probably would have dented one of those ‘steel’ hoods that the other manufacturers brag about :-)
The grapple really is amazing.
Johnny did a great job with this project. It'd be my kinda project....just grab it and go!
Nice, big lot Devin and Ameria have! And you're right Tim, I DO need a grapple!
Big lot available because of flood plain near the creek.
It is beautiful, and doesn’t flood often or for long periods
I blown away as to how well that Grapple works!!Totally amazed that you were able too pick up that extremely large limb. Seems like it was a lot of side force on the loader lift arms?
Johnny did a beautiful job. Better than expected. I’m sure Your really going to enjoy a 3or 4 series tractor when that day comes.
Not much side force because it was balanced. If I had tried to pick up nearer to the end, it wouldn't have been able to accomplish the task.
My father built a basket that fit on the three point and had a cylinder on the rear scv to raise and lower it. He built it using a heavy duty engine hoist as the base. I'm impressed. That was a serious amount of brush!
It didn’t look like so much until we got started digging it out.

Welcome to our channel, Chris. Of course you can configure a 1023 for a grapple.
We have many videos which should help.
that little tractor does a lot of work
More than most (including me) thought was possible.
THE GRAPPLE REALLY WORKED WELL
It did. Same thing the next night...different task...video likely next week.
Perfect job for the grapple
Will be interesting to see if any job is NOT perfect for the grapple!
Like the video Tim & Kristy and Johnny his doing fine .
Another great video. You are quite correct about grapple envy though...
Sorry about that. Feel kinda bad about rubbing it in people’s faces. I know that the extra cost is hard to swallow.
You're not rubbing it in. You're letting me enjoy one through you...lol.
Been watching your videos for awhile now and just saw your daughter on the Purdue Agriculture Page! Boiler Up!
Hmm. Hadn’t seen that yet. Are you at Purdue?
It was shared on the Purdue Agriculture Facebook Page shared from the Global Food Challenge. My wife and I graduated from Purdue.
Thanks for letting us know!
It looks like the grapple has a decent raking action?
It's funny. Right as I was thinking "That's a great idea" they say don't mix a chainsaw and a loader LOL
That mulberry tree is good firewood an even though it's cut down you can't hardly kill a mulberry they are a tough tree.
Tim Christy that grapple can make short work of it but you have to know how run things
Thank You
God Bless
PaK
Grapples on a lawn mower what will they think of next! Sorry I couldn't resist , very impressive what that tractor will do!
Well, it IS our lawn mower. What can I say???
Tim, great video. Poor man like me would used a rachet rake and make piles. Then I would use some clamp on pallet forks make a bigger pile.
Use whatcha got. That is our motto. Hopefully we can help show folks what the ‘next step up’ would look like. Then, they can better evaluate if it is worth the money.
Tractor Time with Tim Can't tell you how many times I've used my loader as a man lift, don't know about you but I finally got my garden tilled
We tilled a garden this evening...but not ours.
Tractor Time with Tim I've got 4 to do tomorrow and have to mow my yard, finally getting some seat time on my 2025r for something other than plowing snow!!!
A true hero
Great job!
I should by a graple like that for my tractor Massey Ferguson GC2610
You would love it!
Yep gotta have me a grapple, the John Deere sub compact is making fast work / user too.
Yep, this is exactly what I need done. So I did the mapping and you're only a 34 hour drive away. Just 2,284 miles. Seems totally do-able, right? =)
See you later this evening!
I'm always amazed at how much work that tractor can do. ... I'd hire a towtruck to pull the tree out of the creek and send the bill to the dufus that dropped it there then plant some flowering shrubberies along it
perfect tool for the job
It would have been nice to have a bigger tractor for this job.
Some of it, yes. Did you see the ‘tight spot’ we were in...could not have used a larger tractor in there
I bet you get hired back to clean more and till that area. That place will look nice with a little more cleaning. Great video at how easy the grapple makes of the branches. Hope you get invited to the wiener roast LOL
what a beauty 😍 and I dont mean the tractor.
Wow. Quite a story. Thanks for sharing.
Definitely a pole pruner would have come in handy in that scenario
Do you have an extra hydraulic function on your 1025R to be able to grab with the grapple?
Yes, check out my install video ‘artillian diverter’ or something like that...it is in the playlist linked in the end screen of this video.
Tractor Time with Tim awesome thanks for the info
No telling how many grapples you are responsible for selling after seeing this video. The most perfect tool for what you were doing. The tractor and grapple we're equal to 50 men on this one.
Good rule is to buy a tractor next size bigger then you think you need, in your case you need one 2 sizes bigger. Still pull with a pick up, smaller tractor gets the job done, but larger one with not be worn out or break as much as they get to be 5 yrs old.
Now I want a grapple!!!!
Great job there, and thank you for the Bible verses!!!
Thanks for watching, Eric! God Bless!
Y'all made fast work of the clean up. Dramatic change in the yard appeal. Gee Tim, What made you decide to get a Grapple Bucket? ;>)
Dumb idea, eh?
Wow, what an amazing tool.
