Hi Mike! I got the thumb on my backhoe and absolutely love it! I’m sure you will too! And I’m really excited about the grapple for the 24 also! I have been moving logs with our 24 and I’m anxious to see what it will pick up with the grapple! And for anyone wondering about the parts and service, RK tractor guy can help me out here but I am going to have to say that RK goes above and beyond to make sure (our) meaning every RK tractor customer is taken care of. I will update on the entire service experience when we get ours back.
I just got a Mahindra 1538 with a root grapple and I urge everyone out there, if you don't have a grapple, get one NOW! It will change your life! Absolutely the best thing since fire!
Mike, we knew that you could juggle lots of projects and tasks, but you can actually juggle. I'm impressed. Now I see how you got Melissa to notice you. I think I want some chestnut trees on my property. Have a productive day.
A while ago you had a talk about gas cans . Well that one that you have in the back of the Polaris Ranger is the best gas can on the market . No need for a funnel ( unless you're putting fuel in your truck ) . You can look over top and see how much gas is going in a tank . No need for an air vent to open up . They come in 3 sizes . That small one I think is 1 1/2 gal , 2 1/2 gal and 5 gal . I get mine at a stihl dealership in the US . A bit pricey but worth every penny . I go camping near James Bay in Northern Ontario and I must have brought at least 20 of them for other campers who see me with them . It's can you get a few for me . LOL
Been enjoying your channel for awhile now. And want to tell you that I purchased my first chain saw. I am about 10 years older than you and have been a little frighten of them. So now I can get at my 12 acres of woods, I n a conservational approach naturally.
My vote is for Sherman. Red Bull would fit the RK 37 perfect. About the chestnuts, I'm noticing there are no acorns this year in CT, but plenty of hickory nuts. By the way just recently purchased an LS MT 125 recently so I got my own little toy to play with as well.
I love the RK24 tractor I am going to purchase one for myself very soon I would love to see the controller that you used to open and close the grapple can't wait to see the video using it keep up the good work love your videos
I kinda like Sherman. As you said it is a little tank. When my budget will allow it i plan on getting one. The wife let me get a new John deere in April so i will wait a while before hitting her up for another new tractor. Take care.
Mike, I've watch 2 of your videos in a row, and I must say, you have a clean, clear, no-nonsense delivery; your video production quality is also very good. Keep it up.
If the 24 is anything like my friends 26HP BX, then Sherman really is a fitting name. With the way they designed the bottom of that new grapple, it almost appears that they could fit bucket teeth on the bottom teeth of the grapple and you could use it as a root rake a little more effectively with a wearable item you can replace. Further testing would be necessary, I would gladly help them out but I currently have no location to do such at.
I like "RED BULL" but it looks like it's going to be "Sherman" which is fine also because it accurately describes it. I agree with you about the weather. I have been looking forward to this for a long time. Keep up the great work. I enjoy your videos. Look forward to them everyday. Better than any TV program!
Sherman - I like it! When you do the video can you give some commentary on your thoughts for blazing the new trail. It’s definitely something I will have to tackle on my property and I’m just not sure how to go about it.
History buff, Sherman it must be. We bought 14 acres in Michigan this past may, all woods mostly oak and a small cabin. We were going to buy a used tractor this fall but have decided to wait and save a bit more to buy the Sherman next spring. We just rented a excavator from a place that doesn't rent bouncy houses to dig up stumps to run underground power, thanks for the tips in those vids.
Watching all the videos with you using a grapple has made me look to see if that would be an attachment for me. I think it is something that I could use, now I just have to get the finance committee (the wife) to approve the purchase.
I'm looking forward to see how the grapple works. I have a Massey Ferguson about the same size as 'Rudy' and I'd like to see how a grapple would perform...
Hey check out the “Frost Bite”grapple It really works great on logs and surprisingly it also works on brush piles. Keep up the good work enjoy all of your videos. Chuck, Lawton Oklahoma
Sherman: Just got back in from cutting up a 110 foot Red oak 32 inch on the stump it was hit by lightning, just had it trimmed up due to fire damage when our house burnt this past Feb, poor tree can't get a break. Well it is now going to be firewood for our new fireplace.
Are the tires loaded? I cant get over the difference that makes. I use calcium because it is heavier and cheeper.. Its in a tube so it won't rust the rims.. I ran the backhoe on my b7100 and backed it into a stump and bent it... still works ok... That tractor would be great in tight spots in the woods without the hoe...
Hi Mike, I am really excited about seeing what the rk24 ( Redbull) will be able to handle with the new grapple. Might be the pivoting point for me between 24 or 37.
Mike, if you had a quick hitch for the three point it would really speed things up switching between and moving implements around. Surely Rural King sells one? If not Harbor Freight. Or if you really want a nice one. Get a Deere iMatch.
After the Stanford win last night, it's hard to argue with Rudy, but I'm leaning towards "Baby Sherman", or Sherman Junior. Staight up 'sherman' might be a stretch!!
I like Sherman too! Also, I may have missed something but didn't you get a drive over mower deck with RK 24? I noticed you still always mow with your Bad Boy, but I would like to see how hard or easy it is to remove or intsall the mower. Thanks for the videos!
My vote is Sherman. Can't wait to see the grapple in action. I think I've decided that we will be getting an rk24 in early spring so I'm watching every video I can. Still haven't seen one in person yet😟. The website shows the back hoe coming standard with a mechanical thumb?? Is this the one?? Thanks for making such great content.
Does the rk24 have a hydrostatic fan underneath it? I have a ls xg3025h love the tractor but hate the fan already had to replace it from sticks breaking it
One thing we’ve always enjoyed about your videos is the music - and knowing who the artist is. We really miss that tidbit of information. Great videos regardless.
im starting to like these rk tractors and the pricing ive used deere tractors but they can be pricey and yes there a nice machine but be interested to see how rk do if in the uk
Hi mike . I’ve been following you for awhile now and seen a few videos. I bought a grapple but I’m not sure if i bought the rite grapple i was wanting your opinion on which style i should had bought
Where do you get your work pants, they look very comfortable. Also why use your string trimmer on that incline if the zero turn also can go over the same area? Thanks! I vote for Sherman!!
Geez Christmas sure rolls around at lot for you Mike, Rural King, Stihl. Spoiled rotten I tell ya, lol. Sherman fits, you have called it a little tank since the driveway project at the new house. Enjoy your weekend
I recently went over to my nearest Rural King to see the RK24. Unnfortunately, all they had on the lot were the RK 19 and the RK37's on up. At 6'4", I sure did not fit onthe RK19. On your RK37 how often does it go into regen mode? And how often do y ou have to add the diesel exhaust cleaner? Love your channel. May see you over in Cambridge next weekend.

Chestnut juggling! A man of many talents!
All this AND the guy can juggle. A man of many talents. Sherman gets the nod from me.
Mike is very gentle on his eguipment a lot can be learned from these videos
I just got a Mahindra 1538 with a root grapple and I urge everyone out there, if you don't have a grapple, get one NOW! It will change your life! Absolutely the best thing since fire!
A lot of odds and ends you got done today!!👍👊
Mike, we knew that you could juggle lots of projects and tasks, but you can actually juggle. I'm impressed. Now I see how you got Melissa to notice you. I think I want some chestnut trees on my property. Have a productive day.

It weighs 230 pounds. I have the same grapple. I use it every day and I use it hard and it has not had a single problem!
Been enjoying your channel for awhile now. And want to tell you that I purchased my first chain saw. I am about 10 years older than you and have been a little frighten of them. So now I can get at my 12 acres of woods, I n a conservational approach naturally.

The new grapple looks real good.....and I know you will put it to work....have a great weekend.
I really like the design of that grapple
Sherman sounds good the little tank that got the job done
I love the RK24 tractor I am going to purchase one for myself very soon I would love to see the controller that you used to open and close the grapple can't wait to see the video using it keep up the good work love your videos

Sherman, cant wait to see what the little bugger does in the woods!
Sherman!!! Can't wait to see the grapple in action, I plan to buy an RK24 next year.
If the 24 is anything like my friends 26HP BX, then Sherman really is a fitting name.

Sherman!!! Always impressed with what was accomplished with those little tanks.
I like "RED BULL" but it looks like it's going to be "Sherman" which is fine also because it accurately describes it. I agree with you about the weather. I have been looking forward to this for a long time. Keep up the great work. I enjoy your videos. Look forward to them everyday. Better than any TV program!
Good morning Mike. I can smell autumn in the air just by watching your video... nice!
I would suggest Sherman. 😊
I like Rudy. One of the greatest movies of all time. Just a little guy in a big guys world- holding his own- Just like the RK 24
Sherman - I like it! When you do the video can you give some commentary on your thoughts for blazing the new trail. It’s definitely something I will have to tackle on my property and I’m just not sure how to go about it.
I'm all in on buster
Buster gets my vote.
Nice Equipment for the woods :)
MY MIDDLE NAME IS RUDY. LOVE YOUR TOYS. MAKES WORK LIKE PLAY.
Juggle family and work and chestnuts, what a talented guy. :-)
That “Little Thang” is going to be awesome,in the woods now 👍🤠
Sherman T. Potter, Love It.
Enjoy your videos a lot... here is a vote for Rudy
Nice looking grapple not as nice as the artillian grapple way more versatile and picks up uneven loads. Great video as always 👍
History buff, Sherman it must be. We bought 14 acres in Michigan this past may, all woods mostly oak and a small cabin. Thanks for your video Mike, always look forward to each new one. Nice additions for the RK24 and I'll vote for Sherman also.
Red bull , it's a mighty tough little tractor.
Video starts at 13:45
Sherman!! Can't wait to see it in action!
Watching all the videos with you using a grapple has made me look to see if that would be an attachment for me. I think it is something that I could use, now I just have to get the finance committee (the wife) to approve the purchase.
They are very handy for sure
Where did you get the great wire pallets for firewood and what are they? Thanks for the videos!
I'm looking forward to see how the grapple works. I have a Massey Ferguson about the same size as 'Rudy' and I'd like to see how a grapple would perform...
Nice setup
Love the Channel!! I like Buster.
Sherman sounds great.
Sherman sounds like a winner..
Sherm
This guy REALLY likes his camera time. Some good ole fashion get to the point would help here.
Since you already named the 55 big red I would’ve called the 24 Lil’ Red. But out of the choices I’d go with Sherman.
Man that mower is quick🙂
How has it held up 5 years later.....?
I like the name Sherman as like you say it is like a little tank.
Hey check out the “Frost Bite”grapple It really works great on logs and surprisingly it also works on brush piles. Keep up the good work enjoy all of your videos. Chuck, Lawton Oklahoma
I like Sherman. I call my grandson Buster.
I love Rudy! But Sherman is pretty cool.

you might want to try a Ripper tooth on the backhoe for stumps. i got one from BXpanded. it works extremely well. not left with a big hole to fill in.
Are the tires loaded? I cant get over the difference that makes. I use calcium because it is heavier and cheeper.. Its in a tube so it won't rust the rims.. Hi Mike, I am really excited about seeing what the rk24 ( Redbull) will be able to handle with the new grapple. Might be the pivoting point for me between 24 or 37.
I'd like to get a few of those aluminum palate boxes for wood. I've searched that term and some variants but cannot find. Can you link them to me?
Mike, if you had a quick hitch for the three point it would really speed things up switching between and moving implements around. Surely Rural King sells one? If not Harbor Freight. Or if you really want a nice one. Get a Deere iMatch.
I would say RUDY. I actually met him when he gave a motivational talk at a sales meeting. Pretty cool guy.
Bob
Thumbs up
Sherman sounds like the way to go small and tuff.
Sherman sounds great. God bless
Rudy.
I really like Sherman too but Rudy is my fav.
Day so long weekend, enjoy it
Sherman sounds good.
SHERMAN FOR SURE
Love your show...keep it coming.
After the Stanford win last night, it's hard to argue with Rudy, but I'm leaning towards "Baby Sherman", or Sherman Junior. Staight up 'sherman' might be a stretch!!
I meant ND win over Stanford. But I'm a Bama fan. Wife is a ND fan.
I like Sherman too! Also, I may have missed something but didn't you get a drive over mower deck with RK 24? I noticed you still always mow with your Bad Boy, but I would like to see how hard or easy it is to remove or intsall the mower. Thanks for the videos!

Amen Brother
Rudy would work but like you Sherman makes more sense to me. So Sherman.
Red Bull ! Plus you could cross market for sponsoring channel lol 😂
I like Rudy because he was an underdog. But did his job & then some!
Bustah!
Sherman, definitely!!😋
Yes! Go with Sherman!
Karen Jones, I will start doing that again, I do for a while then forget, then do it again lol
Little Red Riding Hood
Rudy... They don't come any tougher than that man..
SHERMAN SOUNDS LIKE A WINNER TO ME
Sherman!!! Gets my vote.
Red Bull , good stuff enjoyed that!!!
Also looking forward to the grapple capability of Baby Sherman!
I like Buster!! RK24 is a little small for Sherman
What about "Red Rock" ex Pro-Rodeo bull, inducted into the Hall of fame.. he was a machine!! :)
I like Sherman myself
im starting to like these rk tractors and the pricing ive used deere tractors but they can be pricey and yes there a nice machine but be interested to see how rk do if in the uk
Mike, are you still planning to go to the Paul Bunyan festival next weekend? I plan to go and hope to catch up to you and say hello. (Rick Mace)
ohiofjr, yes we will be there on Saturday, we will post where we will be on our FB page and in a video when we figure out exactly where we will be
Sherman, cool when do we get to see Shermans belly mower? I like the grapple but I want to see the mower Mike, Please Mike.

Steven Meyer I’m 6’4 and I’m comfortable on my 24.
Had a dog named Buster , but I think Sherman fits the RK better...
Sherman! Not a doubt.
