  • This homemade grapple is 55 inches wide, opens up to 30 inches and compares in size to a lot of manufactured grapples for this size of tractor. So far it is preforming great and holding up to abuse. I’m using the grapple on a Kioti LK3054

    Wow. Very impressive. You could've told me you bought that and I would believe you. I plan to fabricate a very similar design. Thanks for sharing this and giving others, like me, more ideas and see potential problems. Well done sir.

    Well done! I hope to build one myself someday. Kudos to you for actually having done it.

    Great job, it looks like something that just came out of factory. Thanks for sharing.

    And I thought Camarata made cool videos and cool stuff. This was unexpectedly awesome!! 26:41 Contrive a metal cage for protection of the pistons.

    pretty cool man, i think people get a little wrapped up with extras, i woulda skipped the bushings and grease zerks unless your putting 40 hours a week continuously on it, im bout to build a grapple and its for a subcompact tractor and i aint goin nuts im just gonna make it work, i might splurge on some paint lol

    I'd get some street 90s for the cylinder instead of the jic fittings to get the hoses closer to the body

    Well I was impressed, the only why I could make a grapple is if I had another one to copy and or blue prints, making something from a mental picture is talent. I think the best improvement would be, is somehow move grapple lever up next to loader lever. Also thats an awesome welding bench, looks like a $1000.00 table........
    So how much do you think this grapple weighs? My guess is 250 lbs........

    • @Wolfpupfab
      @Wolfpupfab  Год назад +1

      Thanks! The table only cost me about $400 to build and the grapple does weigh about 250lbs. Good guess

    Great job! What sizes and how thick of square tube did you use? I'm looking to build one for myself🙂

    • @Wolfpupfab
      @Wolfpupfab  8 дней назад

      Thanks. I think it was 2x2 or 3x3 tube 1/8” wall. I would go a little thicker maybe 3/16”

    Hello, thanks for making the video. I'm always envious of people that can fabricate from scratch. How has it been after a year of use? Would you change anything other than the gussets and maybe steel?

    • @Wolfpupfab
      @Wolfpupfab  13 дней назад +1

      Thanks for watching. The only thing I would maybe change is go with 3/8 thick plate instead of 1/4. And that is just mild steel, AR500 or hardened steel was not worth the cost in my opinion. I sized the grapple accordingly so the tractor doesn’t have enough weight or power to do much damage

      @@Wolfpupfab Thanks again, How much plate steel do you think would be enough?

    • @Wolfpupfab
      @Wolfpupfab  11 дней назад +1

      @@dproulx797for this size grapple I only used a 4’x4’ plate

    Nice job on the build. I would love to build one of these for my little tractor. What stroke length are the cylinders?

  • @justinsousa7624
    @justinsousa7624 Год назад +1

    if you end up bending that 1/4" try out some AR400. that stuff is pretty tough.

    • @Wolfpupfab
      @Wolfpupfab  Год назад +1

      I thought about it originally. So far the mild steel is holding up👍

    You don’t put teflon on hydraulic fittings

    • @Wolfpupfab
      @Wolfpupfab  Месяц назад +1

      It depends what kind of fittings they are. If they are pipe thread then yes you should
