FREEDOM WITHIN WALLS POETRY SLAM PART 2

Summer camp at LEAD Academy sponsored by Freedom Within Walls
mOody bLaCk has been working with the students with understanding metaphors
The students paired up to write group poems about Love
They had to make Love a metaphor
Then, use the line as a refrain (chorus/hook) throughout the poem
After that, the students competed in the second “2 Piece and a Biscuit” Poetry Slam
The counselors were the judges
