I wanted to let you know that I made your recipe, with an exception or two. My husband loved them. I had been using a recipe from memory and I forgot some of it. So I watched several you tube chefs and picked a bit here and a bit there, but generally followed your recipe. I used the butter at room temperature and spread it over the bare rolled out crust. I also used your measurements for the sugar. They were very very good. I made a frosting with cream cheese and butter, but I added vanilla extract and caramel extract. Just a little extra treat for my hubby. Thank you so much. I got my grove back and then some.😄
Well done Christina, your adjustments sound very interesting. I am actually making a batch for a birthday party this saturday so Ill give your version a try. Thanks :)
I add a little instant jello mix (cheesecake flavor) to the frosting (cream cheese frosting) it gives it a little something something..everyone loves it
I watch many cooking videos and channels, I have to say that I absolutely loved this video...I think cutting the rolls first then rolling them is absolutely the BEST way to roll the dough...Great video ❤️ enjoyed it in Boston
Thank you for sharing this recipe. You make it look easy. I can see your genuine desire to teach the viewers. How do you reheat them? In a microwave or normal oven and at what temperature and how long? I noticed that the cream cheese topping is covering all the sides right to the bottom. Did you top it again?
Hi Khin, thank you so much for your kind words. You can easily reheat them either using the microwave, just give it 30 second bursts (1 or 2 times) until they are soft and steamy. I did add a little more cream cheese the next day, for two reasons a) its delicious :D and b) when you reheat them the cream cheese melts down a little. You can also reheat these in the oven if you prefer that, in that case, cover with some aluminium foil to avoid drying them out. Set your oven to 100-120c and give them a few minutes until they are soft and warm :) Thanks for watching
