I've always liked the Beastmen aesthetic combined with their old very grimdark lore. I think that it's been changed a bit in AoS, or if it even got retconned by GW to be less dark before the end of old fantasy warhammer. They can change the Beastmen all they want but my Beastmen are still grimdark :p
@@cjanquart yeah, that’s a bit sad, going from a proper faction to becoming a different taste of chaos without any character identity. Can’t be that hard for GW to take an old character, change his name a bit, and pretend he’s 100% new for AoS.
You would think but those old models are all metal. And there trying so hard to push away from having any metal models. So we shall have to wait untill they get some real love and new model sn
@@cjanquart in a way, i think its almost somewhat fluffy that they don't have any named characters. They're like skaven in a sense, but with even less emphasis on status and society. Its literally just bigger guy wins, and theres bound to be a bigger guy come along every week and beat the current biggest guy out of his seat. They could maybe get away with having the tyranid approach, where the named characters are notorious ones that seem to keep popping up, and the humans have named them out of superstition and fear, but i really think they should be few and far inbetween, maybe one bray shaman whos exceptionally good/distinct from the others, or one beastlord that keeps popping up and give him the swarmlord treatment.
I have been painting beastmen with my brother the last couple of weeks. Very different paint scheme but damn are they a fun palette cleanser to my Highelves
Beautiful work as always, please do more Beasts of Chaos!
I hope to get more of them on the channel for sure.
Ah Chaos Beastmen, nostalgia!!
Good memories

Please do the squigboss! :D
Yes sir.
Really good video. Have you considered painting ironjawz yellow. As I find yellow the hardest colour to paint
Yellow is by far the hardest to paint i have done several videos on it now.
Great vid, Beastmen are really tempting!
