Most covers are a painful or boring listen but this, Japan's "All Tomorrow's Parties", Human League's "You've lost that loving feeling" are a few absolute classics. Others like George Harrison's cover and Frankie's Two Tribes are excellent too. One of the worst I ever heard was the ridiculously over-rated Ed Sheeran doing Fairytale of New York, and another was Taylor Swift doing that Coldplay number, so poor, not understanding the song's energy etc. Too many just think a cover is about playing the notes "correctly" and losing all the edge and raw energy of the original. JC recreates this song in a fantastic interpretation.
