A fan tribute to Friday the 13th, Never Hike Alone follows an adventure blogger, Kyle McLeod (Andrew Leighty), who uncovers the long lost remains of Camp Crystal Lake while on a solo backpacking trip. Ignoring the campfire tales from his childhood, Kyle's search turns deadly when he makes the grave mistake of crossing the path of Camp Blood’s legendary mass murderer, Jason Voorhees. Stranded in the forest with Jason on his heels, Kyle must push his survival skills to their limits if he hopes to survive the night. Otherwise, he'll wind up as another lost victim of the cursed camp.

Said it before, say it again, this is without a doubt my favorite F13th fanfilm, let alone favorite overall fan film (With "Never Hike in The Snow", "Happy Halloween", "Batman: Dead End", "Truth in Journalism" and "Predator: Dark Ages" behind it) and love getting a good ol' B/W version of this.
I would add Darth Maul: Apprentice to the list, but the Never Hike series is definitely at the top of my list.

this is so great, its like a Friday the 13th movie with the suspense of the good Wrong Turn moments
Not gonna lie, this is way better than a LOT of the Friday films, and for once there’s even a character that I actually want to survive Jason’s wrath

That was a very very well done Horror movie!!! To be honest, it was better than most of the other Friday the 13th films. No corny ass awkward actors and cheesy story lines. Keeping it simply about this dude surviving made this scary, and the movie kept me on edge from start to finish. I couldn’t believe the Ambulance driver was Tommy Jarvis! Nice touch guys!!!!

We made it for a special group viewing and it's been sitting in a folder ever since. Figure it wouldn't hurt to make it available for those who enjoy seeing films in black and white. You have to pay more attention to the lighting and a few other things.

Shame tho, because the videoing was great and acting was on point, but I just can't watch a iconic horror without it being in color!!!!
