Knowledge, talent, a sense of humor and honesty! What a great combo! Thanks, Albert. Please continue to post your videos. I appreciate all that I'm learning from you.
Composition is a matter of balance, both colours and figures, but also a matter of taste, where the artist shows his style. It's not easy as I realizes when working with the cutted square pieces of my painting to create a new work. I had different reactions to the final result from other artists... That has teached me to follow my own path. It is nice to see how also you do not like your attempts untill you reach the one that reflects your style.
Hi Con Civ, not everything is easy. Not all ideas work out great. And there are some general rules but choose which ones you want to follow. And focus on what you learn and Have Fun. Just enjoy painting and see where it takes you. Bye, Albert
I quite liked no.7 and the backround music .Thanks Albert van door Zwart for these creative inspirations. Very enjoyable interludes from the industry of life.
I just had a day full of no good art - usually that makes me feel pretty discouraged for more than just the day it happens on. I needed to see this today! Thank you.
Hi Jen, thanks. At least I think it is a positive comment for me... Making art or just painting is always a process or hiking through a forest, you have to find your way through it. Doing simple exercises can help you get going or just as a practice run. Happy painting, Albert
@@ImperfectPaintings definitely meant that in a positive way! It’s refreshing to know I’m not the only one that doesn’t always like what I make but also seeing that just because the artist doesn’t see a vision for something they make, others might 😊
Oh yes Jen, I know what you mean. Thanks. I see (saw, because it is cancelled due to the pandemic) this often at at my painting course. People make beautiful things, but have this picture in their head that doesn't match what they make. So they failed or they want to throw it away. But someone else in the group would frame that particular painting and hang it on the wall of their livingroom. A little distance or looking at it for a week can reveal miracles. Love this, thanks. Happy painting, Albert
Thank you for sharing your talent and creative process! As a beginner in acrylic painting, it is a good reminder to me that not all paintings turn out to be masterpieces. But practice and patience can and do lead to better paintings. 🎨
Thanks Rosie, thanks for your comment and that is exactly my point in this video. Yes, Just paint and have fun and sometimes you just have to start again or take another aproach. Thanks for stopping by and ... Keep painting! Bye Albert
Your this video is really inspiring for me....I love to learn more want to get more inspiration.... Definitely fully watched with pleasure 😊👍💖 I love your simple way of creativity.
Hi Albert, great stuff I always learn something from you. Today was from what you originally dismissed(no.2) you revisited and solved your origional quest, with inspiration From Franz Kline. Love this Piece Thanks
Hi Just Sayin', thanks for sharing your thoughts. Yes, I get what you mean, love this one the most. Just rewatched it and it's interesting, haha. I see where I apply paint hoping to arrive somewhere and the ones that instantly are on track. #4 and #5 I like too now. Have a happy day, Albert
Thanks for asking, Enrica. almost never throw things away. And don't recycle that much. I painted some sheets in one color and sometimes I use parts of it. Or I just flip a sheet and continue. Albert
Hi Jennifer, thanks for the comment. I work on paper. But what do you mean by 'What kind of paintingdtyle?' I just paint, try out things, mess around. Haha, maybe this is your answer: the Albert-paiinting-style. Bye, Albert
Gee whiz look at you go on those perfect freehand circles
Hi Connie, practice, practice, practice ...😉

Hope you are cutting all your ‘failed’ experiments for beautiful collaging?

Greatttt painting, loved the harmony on it! So pretty. New friend here let’s stay connected.
Hello Benabzart, thanks. I noticed you also like abstract painting. Just keep painting, Albert
Did you work on a watercolor paper or canvas?? What kind of painting style did you made with these paintings?? Thank you in advance. 😊

My circle looks like the blue one under the white ">".
Hi Alan, that sounds intriguing.
Looks like something a child does in second grade
Thanks Baby for sharing your opinion. But maybe you don't get the point of the video. Have nice day anyway. Albert
