Technically no, in this movies lore the hulk always existed inside Bruce because he inherited modified genetic material from his father. This moment, when the gamma and ‘nano meds’ are exposed to him, are when what’s been inside all along finally manages to come out. The Hulk isn’t so much ‘born’ as he is ‘free’

@@netherdominater9960 He still has weakness to Bruce's emotions and only transforms when Bruce is angry so he isn't really free.Comics took this further.Separating Hulk and Bruce completely to a different person, another body.
@@TurkishDude570 The Hulk is like another personality trapped inside Bruce's body as a result of his father's experiments and mental abuse. When Bruce gets angry the nanomeds and gamma radiation allow Hulk to take over his body until he no longer feels threatened. It's like how a patient with DID is unable to deal with trauma so they have alters that take over their body to help the host cope with stressful situations.
That's a fairly realistic reaction to your friend nearly dying 3:20 It's good dialog

I watched this movie in childhood and also have autism.
Jennifer Connelly were in the Hulk 2003 as Betty Ross. Jennifer Connelly were in the rocketeer movie in 1991.
Hulk movie in 2003 part 1 Harper is working on the gamma ray system. Betty was telling bruce to meet her father. Bruce and Betty were hearing the Harper was saying having trouble with the gamma ray circuit. Harper asking Bruce to come over to help him. Bruce says I'll be right there.
Then Harper was shock by the gamma ray system and the Bruce was running to the gamma ray to the Harper to put on the mask. Betty was trying to shutdown the gamma beam from the computer. Bruce was checking down on the system too.Betty was telling bruce. Betty said level too high I can't stop it! Bruce say to Harper. Bruce says Harper get out! And the Betty said too. Betty said Get out! And Harper was shock and Bruce blocked the gamma beam from the Harper. The gamma beam was armed.
Hulk movie in 2003 part 3 Bruce Banner was waking up in the hospital bed and Bruce was asking betty how is Harper? Then Betty ross arrives in the bruce hospital room tell bruce banner that Harper isn't working for the labs anymore. Bruce told Betty that doctor checked out on bruce and more. Betty said to Bruce. Betty said I'm not going to watch you die.

Prefer Jennifer Connelly as Betty. I like Liv Tyler as an actress, don't get me wrong, but she was not the right fit for Betty.

They should have find a better director and writer I wish marvel and universal should have follow, the comic books not following the TV series that's how hulk films failed Bruce banner was suppose to be working at the military gamma base radioactive ☢️ nuclear gamma bomb and we need Rick Jones and gray Hulk and the abomination and leader besides his father
