Just a quick note about the chronology. The original comics were published in this order in 1994: Wario Land (Super Mario Land 3), Mario & Wario, Wario's Woods. There were no stories in between them, like how Super Mario Land 1 and 2 had Dr. Mario and many others released in the interim. The games were released in a different order with Mario & Wario first, Wario Land next and Wario's Woods last, although the last two were released only a few weeks apart. As a result these three stories should be read in order and combined to make the complete story. Oh, and Satoshi Tajiri was the director of the game!!
I love these manga uploads and really appreciate the tremendous effort you put into them. I’m gradually amassing a collection of vintage 80’s and 90’s copies of CoroCoro and BomBom - the hefty monthly phone book anthologies - and they’re filled with incredible videogame manga series. Goemon and Rockman were my favourites but there were so many gems. I’ve been collecting them since the early 90’s, even though I couldn’t read them and despite the fact they were aimed squarely at elementary school kids, but they’re one of my primary motivators now for really learning Japanese.
I love all those weird little details that the comics added that are just completely made up as far as the games are concerned. I understand Nintendo wanting to be more protective of their IP now that the games can tell their own stories, but back in the NES/SNES days, when the games just left so much to the imagination, these kinds of comics helped kids to fill in some of those gaps and see what everybody's personality was like and learn about their world. I mean, it *was* all made up for the comics, of course, but that's part of what made it fun!

I know they were very naughty in this story, but... I kinda want one of those mini-Warios. I think I could raise it to be a good Mushroom citizen, or subject or whatever. ❤️
I think the weirdest revelation is that Peach sucks at baking cookies. And she does so well with cakes. Also 12:10 I can't believe we got Super Mario Human (and dinosaur) Centipede.
How ironic that in the game it's Luigi who's meant to help Mario, Peach and Yoshi by taking the bucket off their heads while in this manga it's the exact opposite.
I did not know there was a Mario Party manga but I will cover all the books I hae eventually. Still at least 20 to go. I can always buy more after that.

My favorite of this one is that the skeleton in the desert that gets robbed is Ikehara, the author of the Megaman series.
Such masterclass of silly comedic tone! I think this short stories would be amazing as OVAs as well! ;) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I love how Wario always switches sides. One story he's a good guy, the next one he's straight up the villain.
