The House in San Nazzaro in Switzerland, designed for a family of four, blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings, resembling an ancient rock with its irregular, polygonal form and rough-washed concrete surfaces. The house offers privacy through its discreet street-facing facade, while its interior spaces are filled with natural light, thanks to strategically placed courtyards and large glass panels. The design maximizes the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, with a hidden staircase leading to a rooftop terrace that provides stunning views of the lake and mountains, making it an architectural masterpiece that harmonizes with nature.

A harmonious blending of mid-century prison and WWII bunker.
I love the texture of the exterior walls. There are so many unique and beautiful things about this house. But I couldn't live in it. It has a prison feel to it to me.
amazing. ceilings in kitchen at least seem oddly low
I know the area with such beautiful vistas, of which not a singular one was viewed..? This house is an obstruction to it's beautiful surroundedings. Therefore it's illogically placed.
Beautiful structure and materials... Not clear, though, why what appear to be spectacular views could not have been spotlit in some way(s). For me it's too confining, almost claustrophobic. And dare I mention, trendy as they be, staircases can still be worthy of interest with a handrail.
Although a fan of minimalism and brutalism, this project in particular gives me creepy vibes
👍👍👍👍
I really like it, but a little too brutal for me. Clever design.
Is it cold in winter or huge energy bills? Regardless I like it
Looks like a Bastille though 😂
It is not warm and soothing. More like a fortress. It sacrifices views for extreme privacy.
