2022- people can't handle jokes about politics 😅🤣- I don't think it was funnier than SNL even if Larry David was on Fridays. Fridays had amazing musical guests though
Now she uses Dr. Jean Louis Sebagh's Meaningful Beauty "both morning and night because she's greedy." Are you familiar with The Youth Guru and his miracle melons?
He always did Kramer. That was the first thing I thought when Seinfeld came out was oh looks like that dude from Fridays is still playing the same character.
This was the one skit I've been dying to see again after all these years, as I remember it left me in tears the first time I saw it. But it's not how I remembered it! I could have sworn she topped his haircut off with whipped cream and a cherry on top.
Nice to see the cover of "Wild Planet" by the B 52's on the wall and what sounds like a slowed down and lower toned version of "Party Gone Out of Bounds" from that same album.
Mark Blankfield should have gone in to fame, as well. He was an amazing physical comedian. Look for Jekyll and Hyde Together Again and you'll see how hilarious he was.
george a Anybody know where this version of Party Out of Bounds exists?? This is an instrumental, and slowed down a bit. I wonder if it's even done by the B52's...
I wish I could find the skit where Michael talks about his kids didn't want to go to church, they wanted to go outside and play...until he started beatin' some butts!! Then they want to go to church 😂
The humor in this show is off in a way that I can't place... It somehow reminds me of the feel of being in a low rent wax museum.. lol. And who thought of "Cat Guts" as a nickname? 😆
To be honest, I don't think Michael Richard's was all that funny pre-Seinfeld. Talented, gifted, yes. But his early film and Friday characters were a bit unhinged and overly goofy. Subtle humor is much funnier than the more obvious, over acted stuff. Kramer was and always will be his best work
Here’s to feelin’ good all the time
I've been known to drink a beer or two.
The beginnings of "Doctor VanNostram.
I remember watching this when it aired. I was all of 15 and thought OMG when I saw Valerie Bertinelli in those skin tight pants.
Valerie was so beautiful and so insanely sexy! I had pictures of her all over my bedroom walls.
beginning of Kramer. and the sketch I remembered the most.
Yep. After seeing this, it seems like Kramer was Micheal Richards only bit...
Kramer: "Jerry, watch out for those n*. They are armed and dangerous."
As much as I liked Dick the Swinger, my favorite Michael Richards character on "Fridays" was Battle Boy.
At 16 we HOWLED at those battle boy sketches, they were as funny as Cheech & Chong
micheal richards and devo in one sketch, pure awesome.
Devo?
Said the unibomber.
@@frankwagner3659 hey you don’t get much computer time when you are buried under a federal prison , let me like what I want. Geeze…

Not really but nice try
SNL is lightyears funnier than this schlock
Oh my God!! Valerie Bertinelli was so hott here!! No wonder Edward VanHalen married her around this time...Damnit!!
You got it right
valerie was still single in this, she would marry eddie van halen in 2 months, she was all of 20 when she did this.

This was the birth of Kramer.
oh boy
Michael Richards is basically already doing Kramer in this skit. Otherwise, this is quite a time capsule.
With Larry as a huge part of this show I'm sure that is the direction he ended up giving him
He always did Kramer. That was the first thing I thought when Seinfeld came out was oh looks like that dude from Fridays is still playing the same character.

Us punkers, we gotta have that bongo look. That line stuck with me.
Giggity!
Valerie Bertinelli in hot pants...holy fuuuuuuuuuuck!!!
CitySkin09 taking a drive line out of a transfer case
Love her Black pants period
always loved this one...
Final scene: Not that there's anything wrong with that!
Makes me wonder what the completed 'bongo cut' would have looked like on him.
B 52s...and Kramer...so great...and Valerie Bertinelli
This was the first "Fridays" episode and skit I remember seeing. And the first time ever seeing Michael Richards.
Nice to see the cover of "Wild Planet" by the B 52's on the wall and what sounds like a slowed down and lower toned version of "Party Gone Out of Bounds" from that same album.
Yeah... That's the instrumental version of Party Out of Bounds played at a slower rpm. It was the b-side of Private Idaho
Kramer and the B52s….this is the most fabulous thing to exist
Sad this show was only on for 2years
Mark Blankfield should have gone in to fame, as well. He was an amazing physical comedian. Look for Jekyll and Hyde Together Again and you'll see how hilarious he was.
I never seen anything so funny like this.
Catguts!! So freckin funny! thank you man!
Bahaha, I loved that show
Is there a higher quality video of this "Cat Gut" video? I just love that little shake ,when she is adjusting "Dicky's" barber chair.
Looks like EVERYONE was on blow then!!!!
They (we) were. Coke was literally everywhere.
Could you upload the whole episode?
my thoughts exactly.
He was being a hipster doofus
Aw rabies! You don't want that!
So this is what was on TV three days before my first birthday.
LOL - Love the cigarette!
God damn Bertinelli!!!
Valerie Bertinelli shaves Michael Richards Head.
Even growing up malnourished it was still fucking huge
Catgut is smoking hot!
does anyone know what song is playing in the background???
B-52's Party Out Of Bounds

Kramer before Kramer. Love it!
Evertime I saw Michael Richards after this show, he was always, "Dick".
Even when he showed up in VH-1 and a St.Elsewhere episode.
I wish I could find the skit where Michael talks about his kids didn't want to go to church, they wanted to go outside and play...until he started beatin' some butts!! Then they want to go to church 😂

Great skit. He's pretty much doing Kramer
Isn't that Jean Beauvoir the next chair over?
Valerie was a kid. She was great
What year was this?
1981
Did you notice the bit of wig hair that didn't want to let go?
The humor in this show is off in a way that I can't place... It somehow reminds me of the feel of being in a low rent wax museum.. lol. And who thought of "Cat Guts" as a nickname? 😆
It's like a bunch of unhip people trying to seem hip and avant garde while failing miserably.
Valerie Bertinelli
Battle Boy
Valarie Bertarelli was hot !!
Still a trouser monster
My body was eating itself I only got fed once per day
Is that Fred Schnieder
I would love to see pharmacist
I liked seeing Richards but they didn't have to borrow Wally George's audience
So the Kramer guy has been doing the exact same routine his entire career? Good for him. Can't do that anymore.
He's been coked up for 40 years.... weird guy... really isn't funny unless Jerry and LD are writing for him
Was this a live show ala SNL?
Similar, but I don't think a live broadcast. Yes, a response to SNL, on another network, in front of an audience. The name Fridays, obviously a spoof.
No. It was taped the same day though. 5:,30 in Hollywood on Fridays.
L.A.'s version of SNL but this was taped before a live audience as where SNL was live in real time.
I hope not because that was the worst sketch I've ever seen
His hair looks like Jerry Lee Lewis' there.
This sold Seinfeld on Richards.
Larry David hired him..they were castmates here.
Looking for the Satan healing network skit
ROTFLMAO !!!
Windsor and yavapai
How did Friday’s stay on for as long as it did?
That sucked!
I've seen bigger but I still am proud of mine
Cosmo
Fridays was a much
better comedy skit show than SNL in the early 80's...imho
Ya that’s why the network shut it down after one season
I kept waiting for the sketch to start...🤷♂️
This was so bad
Great actor ! No one can do is character
More like glam rock shop
Kramer way before Kramer…
I'm gay and most the townspeople are under 5 inches I'd like to have someone to talk to thats gay also but they can't get me off

Ten inch nails
Fridays never was funny
Neither was Saturdays
This was horrible.... Richards sucks without Jerry and LD's writing
Who would’ve thought that a cornier and even less-funny version of SNL was even possible?
Yep. It only lasted 2 seasons for a reason. And SNL really sucked at this time..it was after Lorne and the original cast had just left.
This was painfully unfunny.... Michael sucks without Seinfeld's writing
Completely unfunny sketch, but richards was already perfecting the kramer slapstick so i guess thats something.
Boy was this skit bad! This was friggin terrible. Give a great script to Michael Richards in Seinfeld, & it's a world of difference.
