Being a Mopar B-Body guy at heart sure do love being a subscriber. Thanks for inspiring me to start my own channel ROUND"EM UP.. Look forward Seeing a lot more from YOU buddy!!! THANKS AGAIN
Look at you with 30k subs. Keep on posting and RUclips might fund your junk completely one day. I'm a Ford fan and I enjoy your vids ! That's saying something !
When I was in university my buddy's MOM had a 69 Charger with a 440 - he thought it was a magnum (automatic). We went out for coffee - 5 of us - 3 grown men in the back seat, nobody touching shoulders - these are BIG cars. He was complaining all night about how badly out of tune it was, and it had 90 000 miles on it. We were facing north, he wanted to go south. So, he pulled into the intersection and walked on it. Engine roar, exhaust blaring and tires howling! Half way up the block I pulled myself out of the back seat and looked back up the street. The intersection was full of blue smoke and there were two solid lines of burnt rubber that came right up to the car - it was still burning the tires. "90 THOUSAND miles and badly out of tune!" I've been a Mopar fan ever since. Mind you, my brother is building a 71 Nova with a 437 stroker (454 crank in a 396 block) - 550 hp on pump gas into a real SS 4 speed car. That'll be a sweet Chebby.
Chris I'm glad your bringing these cars back from the dead. They deserve it. I worked in the restoration field for 25 +, I share your sentiments too. These antique cars be it Chargers or whatever were never built by the factory to be put in glass cases. They were transportation pure and simple. So keep driving them and enjoying them there still great fun and you will always find them in a parking lot easily seen in the sea of look alike cars
At 50 years old these cars really do look better than any other cars built before or after them, and I'm not even a Mopar guy, I can't afford to get my hands on one. And there ain't that many of them here in the UK. I drive American iron every day, I wouldn't have it any other way but I sure wish I had a 68-69 charger. Great videos, thanks very much for showing us all what we're missing. Cheers
I still have "second helping" on 8-track along with at least 40 other 8-tracks from my 70's youth, and a player. They suck but great memories of daze gone by. Love that Green car, that is a great color.
I lived in minot and Grand Forks for 10 years. Never been so cold. But loved it. My brother bought a new 68 charger when he came back from Vietnam. What a car. Green
"By the time you strp it down, what are going to have?" You're going to have a BIG list to order from AMD!! Hey the red one is better than the Texas car.
That green one is good from far, but far from good. Still like it. It'll be nice when it's done. The opening with the 8 track put a huge grin on my face. One last thing, you've committed my biggest pet peeve. EDELBROCK. Not ELDEBROCK. My dad says the same thing.
Hey Chris, I think I speak for a lot of subscribers when I say please do a complete restoration video series on any of your chargers. You are an incredible fabricater and love to watch your restoration videos! I have really learned a lot from you and would love to see more! I am sure I speak for many subscribers on your channel, and you would easily aquire a ton more! Just Saying.
I do enjoy watching you get more of these cars but daaaammn, I like watching you build them more... You have so many waiting in the wings you're going to have to hire a crew to help get them all done. You might be 80 years old working on them and that's fine for you but I'll be at least 30 years in the dirt by then! lol I love your work, keep it up!
I watched the guys on Chop Cut Rebuild, restore a '69 Daytona with not much more (possibly less) salvageable metal then your red one. I realize a Daytona is worth much more than an average R/T, but it can be done. Keep up the good work.
The thought of someone else restoring such a rusted disaster is better than the thought of me doing it. lol! Thats quite a hole youve dug for yourself!! "Enjoy" the climb out cuz thats what its all about! one day at a time. its good you have shelter for them at least.
The one thing I've learned about you ...Rust is not a problem for you .. the green one looks pretty straight..minor rust you've been there before..it sounds good..i like the 8 -- track i still 90 % of mine and a few 8 --track players they all still work.and the red one wow i dont know about that.. looks like it's had it .. hope you had a great new year .. see you on the next one....Cheers 🍹🍻🍹🍻🍹🍻🍹🍻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Chris, great new video..got yourself a 20 and 40 Chargers ..Green one looks sharp from 20 feet away and well the Red one from 40 ....However..I understand why you bought them and there R/T 's how bad it that ,? Do you ever get " buyers remorse " ,? .I guess at that point like you say you look at what parts are there for a parts car or being a R/T it needs to be put back together. I'm not a fan of the Green on the Chargers ..I have to admit that the Grinch that you sold ( bad ass ) and this green one here changed my thinking..I quess it's all about the shade of Green. I like this Green one here ...yep...just the way it sits !! I'm older now and I like the automatic with the black trim ..and the Cragers ..wow..just sets it off like in 1970 ...Glad you're finding these Chargers and covering them up for cripes sakes . Brilliant Idea !! Haha..Hope to meet you in person some time !! Also a follower of Jed at Scott's Speed..from Royal Oak Michigan !! Happy Hunting !!! Love all youte channel keep the vids coming !! You do Awsome Work !! Did you move from Vegas yet ?? / T
The red weather neglected RT with literally next to nothing to work with had me a little misty,,,,,,(was hoping you wouldn't just give up on her),,,,'It's unique enough,,,,,,that my dumb ass will try to save it',,,,,so much respect for that level of optimism, care and mechanical skill with these cars,,,,,,and your life code to save and actually drive them Chris
That red charger is toast! I'm scared for what you will find when you begin removing rotted panels. I'll even take a wild guess and say you'll be replacing at least 85 to 90% of sheet metal and frame parts on that poor R/T. : (
Hey man thanks for the video I really enjoyed it and I really enjoyed the music 2 because this is a lot better than the other music that you had playing before this is my kind of music I you still listen to this back in the day it's still a little bit once in awhile today even to hell yeah
Another great video Chis !! I know the green charger need a lot of work but I love the way it looks hell I would trade you my 68 Plymouth Satellite 383 for it.
Hi. I am Gary's sister, you bought the green Charger from him. Just wanted to pass along that he passed away on September 30th. The car has been in our family since I was a little girl (I'm 48). Glad he sold it to you and that you can fix her up.
And yes, better looking than cars of today. And the visceral part of the experience can’t be touched. I have a Dodge Magnum RT. Starts every time, runs great every time, looks as new (except for drivers seat) after 13 years, and I bought it new. Awesome car. Ticks MOST of the boxes. Smokes tires. Yes. Hauls ass. Yes. Faster than all but the mightiest of yesteryear cars. Yes. Looks great. Yes. Handles great. Yes. Carries tons of gear. Yes. Tows my trailer like a champ. Yes. But the feel, the character, the little things that piss you off and make you love it, no, not there. I’ve had and driven plenty of heyday cars. Form my first car, 1971 Torino 500, to my 1968 Country Squire, 1967 LTD coupe, 1967 Galaxie 500, and on and on, they all had CHARACTER. Sideways in the rain with the 390 Squire was not something. people see every day. Vacuum operated headlight covers in action, not seen today at all. I put the Torino through almighty hell, as if I was filming an episode of Dukes of Hazzard every day. And it took the beating. Yes I had to replace ball joints and such, but fun, fun, fun. And character not found today. I love my Magnum. Best car I’ve ever owned. And it has character. But it’s not dripping with it. Good or bad? I don’t know. But the computer that has most likely kept me from totaling this car also keeps me from keeping it sideways through 200’ of curve. That’s not fun. The Torino could be kept sideways around a whole parking lot. And those are the things that make you smile from ear to ear and that feel sticks with you for hours. Drive it. And drive it again. And live. And smoke em if you got em. 🤘🤘
Wow buddy I wish I could find a 69 charger even if it was that bad as the red one I'm 53 years old I had a chance to buy one back in the 80s for 500 bucks as long as it took me and my dad to get to the bank and get the money the guy sold it on us it is my dream car maybe one day I will have one before I leave this earth love the channel and the work you do
YEP...STILL A BAD ASS IN MY BOOK...KEEP ON KEEPIN ON...WISH I NEVER SOLD MY 68...STILL HAVE THE KEY ON MY KEY CHAIN THOU...BUT LIVING WITH THE REGRET FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. WAS NEVER WORTH WHAT I SOLD IT FOR.....GOD BLESS..
Damn Chris you've got a lot of second generation Dodge Chargers man & Jed only has his dad's red 1968 Dodge Charger R/T Hemi & a white vinyl top & Jezebel which is Jed's badass ratty B5 blue 1970 Dodge Charger with a 505 stroker motor with 600 plus horsepower.
Damn that looks like fun. In fact I KNOW it’s fun.. just like he said at the end, drive em, don’t preserve them for the next guy. Remember the old adage, life is what happens while you’re making plans!
When I started watching this video, I wondered what part of PA you were in. Then I saw the orange Charger on the trailer and instantly recognized where you were. I live only 20 miles from there, and wish I had known you were out this way. I've been trying to buy a 69 Charger off a guy right up the road from me for years, and I would have liked for you to see it and get your opinion. I think he will sell soon. I first saw it sitting outside, and I told him to at least store it in the garage if he didn't want to sell. Thankfully it was in his garage the next time I talked to him. I'm not surprised at the condition of your orange Charger. Sitting outside, especially on grass all that time is the worst way to store a car. In this area, we have winters that are very wet and damp, and cars rot like crazy here, especially with all the salt and spray they put on our roads. Anybody who has a nice car that they wanna keep long term parks them in storage all winter. I'll never understand why people let cars sit out and rust away like that.
Noooo, PLEASE LEAVE THE SCOOP OFF and paint the hood the same color as the body. I absolutely LOVE that car and most of all the color too. The black vinyl top really sets it off. I want a 1970 Charger with the same paint and vinyl top. Fix it up, that would be soooo nice.
Chris keep those Cragar Rims dude😎🤘🏻🤘🏻 !! Had those on my 69 Camaro SS 4spd ..Stock rims blow !! See ya back in Vegas .. well maybe 😜 I know you're a celebrity !!😁
You know I'm kind of glad that you and everybody else like the chargers challengers and cuda's because then it leaves the A body Dart's to me my very first car was a 68 GTS numbers matching 383 Dart 4 speed
Chris I hope that you got a good deal on the orange/red car because it will be a lot of work. Many AMD panels to be used... add it to your list. Regards Jules Australia
The front and rear bumpers are good besides the glass and trim and grill on the Pennsylvania car. Maybe the regulators in the doors are good. Maybe some of the dash parts are use able? The hood hinges are good. Battery tray looks good I think under all the nuts.
My dad and I have a orange originally b3 blue 68 charger 383 auto original motor, trans, and rear end were gone so we put in a 440 4 speed and a 66-67 charger 8 3/4 which by the way works perfect with some 8 inch wheels and 275 tires
Love your speech bubbles! Trailer queens DO suck! I only know two 60s-70s guys in Edmonton Alberta Canada that will take their car to the track. WTH?! Our 68 RT Coronet is Road AND Track, like Ma Mopar intended.Glad to see that you agree. :)
Yo dude please more content. Just doo ride along for the day. Turn the camera onwhen it's intresting. Still amazing skills as you do metal work.NO FANCY NEEDED!!!! CMON CHRIS DIRT
Regardless how bad these cars are, they will never be made from the factory again. They will continue to age like wine.
Sad that someone would park a gem and let it rot for 33 years. 😤😤
I know, pisses me off too! I hope he didn’t over pay for it!
It's a great thing you do sir, rescuing those once majestic cars and making them beautiful again.
a shame that the orange charger sat outside for so long good luck
Being a Mopar B-Body guy at heart sure do love being a subscriber. Thanks for inspiring me to start my own channel ROUND"EM UP.. Look forward Seeing a lot more from YOU buddy!!! THANKS AGAIN
Fix the orange car. It's a basket case but it'd be a shame to see her scrapped. Love your videos.
Look at you with 30k subs. Keep on posting and RUclips might fund your junk completely one day. I'm a Ford fan and I enjoy your vids ! That's saying something !

That red RT is a 100k subscriber restoration...
Agree

You're the only guy bringing east coast cars to the west coast, usually the other way around
At 50 years old these cars really do look better than any other cars built before or after them, and I'm not even a Mopar guy, I can't afford to get my hands on one. Keep savin them chargers man.
Brings back memories. I had one when I was in the Navy with the 383 and 4-barrel. Loved it.
I still have "second helping" on 8-track along with at least 40 other 8-tracks from my 70's youth, and a player. They suck but great memories of daze gone by. Love that Green car, that is a great color.

The orange '69 had one thing of value: the title and vin tag. Seems like you can Frankenstein a car together around that.
You hauled home a lot or rust there!!! You are right, that F6 car would be awesome with a white top and interior.
33 years huh? So that Charger had basically been sitting around since I was born back in 86. :P
"By the time you strp it down, what are going to have?" You're going to have a BIG list to order from AMD!! Hey the red one is better than the Texas car.
Awesome drifting in the snow and that little boy driving the car looks cool as you 🌨
8 tracks and 8 cylinders sound so good together
Thank you for sharing these projects im getting to live through you. God bless buddy
That green one is good from far, but far from good. Still like it. It'll be nice when it's done. The opening with the 8 track put a huge grin on my face.
One last thing, you've committed my biggest pet peeve. EDELBROCK. Not ELDEBROCK. My dad says the same thing.
@ I was going to say, all of their merch says how to pronounce it!
Chris youre awesome dude. No matter how far gone one is...its almost never completely off the list. Man of optimism. #junkerup
Hey Chris, I think I speak for a lot of subscribers when I say please do a complete restoration video series on any of your chargers. Your Good that is one rough Charger fun to watch the videos
Watching you get into the green car without knocking the snow off your boots really ruffled my feathers.
Great video. my first car was a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T SE and it was one bad lad. Now I know that they only made 1454 of them.
Nobody needs 15 chargers when others can’t get their dream project because people are Charger hoarding.
I watched the guys on Chop Cut Rebuild, restore a '69 Daytona with not much more (possibly less) salvageable metal then your red one. I realize a Daytona is worth much more than an average R/T, but it can be done. Keep up the good work.
Makes me sad to see cars like that red one look in that bad shape. BUT, it could be restored if some really has to mindset and time/money
Bob Silver it’s a R/T
The best sentence I saw in a long time. "Live once, enjoy you car and wear ir out. Don't preserve it for other guy"... Admirable live philosophy .
The thought of someone else restoring such a rusted disaster is better than the thought of me doing it. lol! Thats quite a hole youve dug for yourself!! "Enjoy" the climb out cuz thats what its all about! one day at a time. its good you have shelter for them at least.

Thank go there is someone like you out there that makes up for the stupidity of the people that left the cars rotting for years....
The green car is surprisingly good when you go over it.
Hahaha! That 8 track player bumpin Lynard Skinnard and doing a burny! Good times! Lol : )
Chris, great new video..got yourself a 20 and 40 Chargers ..Green one looks sharp from 20 feet away and well the Red one from 40 ....However..I understand why you bought them and there R/T 's how bad it that ,? UN RESTORABLE?? I didn't know this word exited with you. WOW!!!
A Charger blasting on the hunt by lynyrd skynyrd while snow drifting. Excellent!
What a shame he let the car sit and rust like that it was sweet when he parked you should do a first start on it
Like you’re saving the car’s and having fun driving them.grate videos 👍
Cool video! Thats my black 71 Phantasm II Cuda at the very end!!
I only took pics of the cars I really liked, urs was #1 on my list of cars I would of taken home
I would still go to a dealership and buy one now if it was manufactured.Just a nice style.❤
It is! Called 2020 Charger Hellcat. Or Hellcat Redeye Challenger if you prefer a 2 door.
Son geniales tus videos .gracias por rescatar esas dodges .

Another great video Chis !! I know the green charger need a lot of work but I love the way it looks hell I would trade you my 68 Plymouth Satellite 383 for it.
The wheels look great with that color!
Skynyrd says it all!!!!. Keep on rockin.
Hi Chris, Its incredible how some idiot parks up a car like that and leaves it to face the elements.
All the best, love your channel.
50 shades of rust on that red one haha
Hi. I am Gary's sister, you bought the green Charger from him. Just wanted to pass along that he passed away on September 30th. The car has been in our family since I was a little girl (I'm 48). Glad he sold it to you and that you can fix her up.
Dang...I’m sorry to hear that, he was a nice guy
the only metal worth saving is the vin tag.. #vintag....

Gotta love Pennsylvania I live there and am surprised you found a charger.
The cragars look awesome on that car
Well it's an R/T .. and has a good pedigree .. you have brass balls guy .. can't wait to see it done
Glad you rescued the red 69 before it turned into the green 70
Not far from it
Wow buddy I wish I could find a 69 charger even if it was that bad as the red one I'm 53 years old I had a chance to buy one back in the 80s for 500 bucks as long as it took me and my dad to get to the bank and get the money the guy sold it on us it is my dream car maybe one day I will have one before I leave this earth love the channel and the work you do
Man that looks like a lot of fun .
Hey chris
Loved this video too
And liked that phrase also at the end of video that says
You only live once.. So enjoy your cars ❤❤you are right 👉 😎
Damn Chris you've got a lot of second generation Dodge Chargers man & Jed only has his dad's red 1968 Dodge Charger R/T Hemi & a white vinyl top & Jezebel which is Jed's badass ratty B5 blue 1970 Dodge Charger with a 505 stroker motor with 600 plus horsepower.
Damn that looks like fun. In fact I KNOW it’s fun.. just like he said at the end, drive em, don’t preserve them for the next guy. Remember the old adage, life is what happens while you’re making plans!

You’re lucky Chris never saw it and bought it. He’ll buy any charger within a 2,000 mile of his house.
SWEEEET HOME ALABAMA ! Chris miss you dude !!
Both of these are still way better than anything I've seen in ohio unless it was recently professionally restored.
Chris keep those Cragar Rims dude😎🤘🏻🤘🏻 !! Had those on my 69 Camaro SS 4spd ..Stock rims blow !! See ya back in Vegas .. well maybe 😜 I know you're a celebrity !!😁
You know I'm kind of glad that you and everybody else like the chargers challengers and cuda's because then it leaves the A body Dart's to me my very first car was a 68 GTS numbers matching 383 Dart 4
speed
Is there even such thang as rusting more on the R/T
Great video! Love all the music
R/T's do even worse in Buffalo I had one in 78 that looked almost identical
The "vacuum vortex"...🤔🤣😂🤣
Chris I hope that you got a good deal on the orange/red car because it will be a lot of work. Many AMD panels to be used... add it to your list. Regards Jules Australia
I would like to see you rebuilding the orange Charger. I think that one keep you busy for a while 😉
The front and rear bumpers are good besides the glass and trim and grill on the Pennsylvania car.
You've got the roadkill car for front rails.
That red one aint even a 500.00 doller car in Pa, they musta had some good pictures for you Chris. That thing is a damn shame.
Any rust piece of junk in BC is 10k.
Sure is a nice looking car F6 Green with the roof and black stripe .....like that and you'll make it great and put her to rights
Well, at least you saved a good engine and drivetrain (hopefully) and can transplant that into something down the road.
Got to have a four-speed you're a man after my own heart
You have gone silent!!
To bad. You had very good content.
Cheers
Love your speech bubbles! Trailer queens DO suck! I only know two 60s-70s guys in Edmonton Alberta Canada that will take their car to the track. WTH?! Our 68 RT Coronet is Road AND Track, like Ma Mopar intended.Glad to see that you agree. :)
R.I.P. red One.
Snow Drift 👍👍👍👍👍
I love the green charger and I hope you do A video series rebuilding it!
love your videos. But you already have a red RT charger in your garage if I am not mistaken.
Yo dude please more content. Just doo ride along for the day. Turn the camera onwhen it's intresting. Still amazing skills as you do metal work.NO FANCY NEEDED!!!!
