Dr. A, thanks to you and your team for producing these videos. Most of the time I learn something new to take with me that I didn't know before. I would like to thank you Balduzzi to let us know step by step process what should be done for muscle building with diet. What I truly like about you is that you break down every possible impact that could affect metabolism within our body.
Well that's the morning gone!!! Couple of hours watching your videos and I now have a weight training and diet plan to hopefully build some lean muscle.. Cheers mate👍🏽 (45 yr old Father of two)

My weight loss has been going great and I think I'm ready to start focusing on building muscle more. This is exactly what I needed, thanks for the detailed break down. Going to start incorporating everything you recommend for my protein intake, eggs, organic chicken, etc. Avocados too, didn't know they were a healthy fat and I love avocados!
Thank you for this helpful video! I showed it to my husband and he learned a lot! He knows to eat protein to build muscle, but he's been doing it all wrong. For example, he wasn't setting the right protein target by body weight as well as following all the other great info from Dr. B. I love how these videos are all explained so well, supported by science and with clear action steps for people to follow. thanks!!
We love that combo. We call it "protmeal" :-) Add some cacao, protein powder, oats, chia seeds, and berries (try frozen too for a interesting flavor/temperature combo).
Thank you so very much, you made my life So healthy and easy by watching verity of your videos , and the way you delivered any kind of information is very easy and calm and Unwind the over thinking when it comes to what to eat, no I don't have a decision fatigue anymore, you really improved my life Man so I'm forever grateful to you
This is good because it helps people to eat a healthy, normal diet and build muscle at the same time as opposed to extreme diets which may not be as healthy.
I don't work out much, so I was amazed at the results I got... bicep peaks! Pecs! I believe the deciding factor was my diet. It wasn't hard, I just made sure to get a lot of protein and not pig out as much.
I love love LOVE eggs and always stay away from yolks. I may start giving them another try now. Also, great tip about the canned wild salmon. I always eat tuna with a heavy heart. Thanks for another great video! I got two more people hooked on your videos. Big thumbs up!!
I have started a wk out in the morning just to develop my muscle strength /so I am still strong in my 60 s 7 yrs to go /along with just regular excercise ,
Ran 12 miles in 1 hr 53 comfortably/problem I have is injuries,so using cycling ,swimming and hit to not stress body as much tbf I look great (big head)
There really won't be any difference in your muscle-building results between the two as long as you're using a high-quality, blended plant protein source. We use both regularly. If you have no problems with whey, use that because it's naturally rich in L-Leucine (the amino acid that triggers muscle protein synthesis). If you choose a plant-based powder, get one that has enough Leucine in it. Like Vega Sport -> amzn.to/2xBOK4K
Hi Alex, If you're allergic to fish and tree nuts, we would still recommend the chicken, lean ground beef and eggs. You can get your healthy fats from oil. -The FFP Training Staff
For your old school muscle building program for men over 40 is there anyway I can get the literature in a hardcopy so I can read it instead of using it on an app I’m 57 and I would rather have books then playing with apps and passwords I would even pay extra for it if I had to because I see it for 100 bucks I wanna get it but if it’s an app I’ll never use it
Carbohydrates are just as good as protein for muscle building? I think you'll find that carbohydrates are 80% more conducive to fat growth and 20% muscle compared to protein.
Hi Dr. i have question about how many time i spend in cardio exercises before start iron exercises? I was doing from 40 to 50 minutes cardio and burn 500 galleries, then doing iron exercises. My point is to lose weight as i have stomach. But then one friend told me about that is to much, just do 20 minuets cardio max, to loose weight.. so i do that now, but what you think what is better to loose stomach and build some muscles? Note im 51 years old, 86 gm weight and 173 cm height. Thanks a lot and hope to get answer from you. Regards
Allan themigrant I try to separate cardio and strength exercise, mainly as i want to focus my energy to ensure i give intensity to the weights, so i run 50-60 minutes two to three times a week on my strength rest days. I run a steady aerobics pac for steady burning of fat and doesn’t trigger anaerobic burning of muscle. I have no problems in building muscle and keeping it.
Hi Allan! We are so happy you found our channel. :) If you're trying to lose weight you should start by implementing a good, clean diet into your daily routine. It's not that simple. Yes, high casein intakes are positively associated with an increased incidence in cancer. This is likely due to the fact that casein raises IGF-1, which can cause pre-existing tumors/cancers to grow. Also casein can turn into a byproduct called Beta-Casomorphin which is allergenic and associated with negative metabolic conditions in many people. This does not seem to be the casein derived from sheep or goats cheese (a2 casein), vs cows cheese (a1 type of casein). These are different types of caseins. In our opinion dairy intake should be lowered for most people when possible. I doubt that having organic dairy (on occasion) would be a bad idea for one's health (or enjoyment). Choose sheeps/goats cheese when available.
Not gonna lie , I was worried for the first half when all have you said were the premium expensive Wild salmon, grass feed cow, free range chicken, etc..... until Tempe .... Yes.... That gem is so cheap and abundant here in my country
Generally speaking, I like to keep close to the women's pregnancy guidelines (because most of the research is concerned about how mercury affects babies neurological development). www.consumerreports.org/cro/magazine/2015/06/too-much-tuna-too-much-mercury/index.htm Essentially, they say 4.5oz/week. If we're to be a bit more lax/conservative... a true serving for most people would be 7-8oz (50g protein). So our opinion is no more than 1x/week. If you take extra selenium with the tuna, it can bind to the mercury - negating some of it's toxic effects. That's why we suggest having a small handful of Brazil nuts (highest selenium source on the planet) when eating mercury-containing fish. There's also some research that fruit fiber (particularly the pectins found in strawberries, apples, and citrus fruits) can bind mercury too. You'll see me a sushi with some brazil nuts :)
Choose vegan diet or plant based pescatarian diet, which is healthier red meat will bring you to grave fast. Only invertebrate, fish and shellfish can be healthy.
Some yes. But substantially less than high mercury fish (snapper, tuna, swordfish, etc). The body can handle some mercury. The selenium in seafood helps bind to the mercury. That said, very low mercury fish (like sardines) are the best option. All animals are bioaccumulators. The bigger they are (and higher on the food chain), the more accumulation they have. Wild salmon 1x / week is not a concern from a mercury standpoint,
@@Fitfatherproject I totally respect what you have done with this channel, amazing info, but alittle mercury, we are still talking about the most toxic substance in the world and as been show to destroy neural-pathways with just literally micrograms, better option pick other fish and supplement with and algae supplement, yes salmon used to be awesome, we also have the case of BPA plastics and other plastics, which again have been found in salmon. Really love you guys though, especially for the info you give for over 40s.

You can get your healthy fats from oil.

good vid. I have recently seen evidence of Casein A1 as highly bad on joints, any truth to that? i don’t take Casein, just was wondering.
Yes, but it varies by individual. The Casein A1 can be allergenic.
