Externally, Rahu signifies people from outside the community, people who are not part of the ordinary social structures, eccentrics, people who are unpredictable and untraceable. Physically, Rahu would co-signify the same parts as Saturn. Internally, Rahu represents desires, and the tendency to identify oneself with external objects. It represents impulsive thoughts and behaviour, and the ability to passionately pursue goals in the most crafty ways. Qualities signified by Rahu: passionate, impulsive, hard to contain, wild, intelligent, tricky, illusionary, fake, smoky. Determining what objects are signified by Rahu: Rahu signifies things that are illusionary in nature, or parts that are of foreign nature, not truly fitting in.

More qualities of the Externally, Ketu signifies people who are mysterious, who hold abstract or incomprehensible views, who do not show their true identity, spies, mathematicians, people who have flashes of insights, inventors. Physically, Ketu would co-signify the same parts as Mars. Internally, Ketu represents detachment, and the ability to contact subtle and powerful states of the mind. Experiences of higher states of consciousness at its best, and delusions at its worst are signified by Ketu. Qualities signified by Ketu: sudden, unforeseen, subtle, abstract, universal, intelligent, insightful, psychic. Determining what objects are signified by Ketu: Ketu signifies things that are abstract in nature, or things that are falling apart or disappearing.

I did computer engineering in 2010 but always frustated with IT job.
I was supposed to go abroad for MS but I coudn't make myself do it. Leaving my home felt extremely difficult for me.
I feel like I lack mental stability and energy to do job or productive work in life. Have done lots of things like exercise, meditation, spirituality but somewhere deep down I feel like I lack a solid mental foundation of self-dependence and courage.

I have experienced exactly what you said with this 4/10 Rahu Ketu. Professionally, I did everything I was "supposed" to. Got the degrees, got the job but was absolutely miserable. I felt like I was wearing someone else's clothes. I never spent enough time really paying attention how I felt about myself or what I wanted from my life emotionally. Emotions were weaknesses that had to only be managed so that I could achieve the practicalities of life.
I know..this is not n easy Axis to handle with Noes in it..as 4th house is the house of our Foundations..
oh... yeah, given how we are in the monkey-see, monkey-do age, everything is only to gain validation and approval, 4/10 axis is kicking my ass just the same.
Very accurate prediction. I know a person with rahu and mercury in 4th. His mother is very harsh and not present in his childhood. Maternal relations had to be maintained whether he liked it or not. He is very emotional and sensitive person. He doesn't want to sit and talk, but is a workaholic. Finally after 38, he found the courage to cut his relationship with his mother to live a better life.

Thank you! I have rahu (alone) in 4th house and ketu(alone) in 10th. I am an Arise ascendant with moon in ardra 2 in 3rd house (weak moon) so it doubles the emotional roller-coaster. The things you said about ketu in 10th house is absolutely correct because I am a quick learner and it feels like whenever I try to learn something new I could figure it out quick...but only issues is emotions...I am learning but its a hard task for people with weak moon...in D9 I am Sagittarius ascendant with ketu in 6th house...don't know if its good or bad...thanks for the insight about this rahu ketu axis

Hey I have the same condition rahu in 4 ketu in 10 but I have amazing relationship with my mother n she's always there in time of need I'm currently 20 yrs doing my mbbs n frankly I don't believe in all this but my dad does he made me see this. I don't have good relationship with my friends I mean I have friends but I don't feel close to anyone of them, I want to but it's hard for me to open up and I'm a little egoistic so I tend to get problem to get along with people and I'm kinda lazy sometimes and my relationships they somehow don't work I don't feel the spark after sometime lol

My son has this Rahu in conjunction with Moon in 4th house and in Conjunction with Sun in 10th house. He always feels that irrespective of his talent and experience he is not getting recognition & what he deserves to be, with some frustration he quit the job. Even if I setup business his attitude towards the Customer is 'take it or leave it' kind of attitude. I used to advice him that take responsibility of your family and Child though he has a cushion of parental support and employed wife. So that he has a purpose and can tolerate his roller-coaster career. Thanks for your good briefing. I'm not clear about what do you mean by ignore the ketu and follow the Rahu?🙄 do you mean to not to follow things based on job title and societal entitlement and rather persue according to passion and satisfaction?
What he means is do not try to be overly obsessive about your work or public image and just do what is asked of you in your profession without expectations. Focus on the things that make you happy like your hobbies, desires, relations etc.

I am capricon ascendant with rahu conjunct moon in Aries in 4th house and Ketu 10th house in Libra. It is only in the recent years I discovered that it is really hard for me to trust and to depend emotionally on anyone. Kindly interpret this for me according to the my rahu and ketu placement.
Or not working for a looong time and then suddenly always working.
In my case with Rahu in Scorpio and Ketu in Taurus.
Ketu in 10th house (from lagna) could be in any sign. For say a Sagittarius asc, it will be in the house belonging to virgo, whose lord is Mercury. So, a lot will change even for a headless Ketu in this disposition. Who Ketu is will matter. Even for a basic understanding, you will have to say the characteristics for each of the 12 houses rather than paint one picture.
Correct...I have already made video for Rahu ketu axis in all rashis...this is about the house placement irrespective of rashi placements..yes once u keep adding layer to it interpretatin keeps changing before you come to final one..e.g even if you know House as well as Rashi of let us say ketu in 10th there is still one more element which can change it is the Lord of Rahu and ketu..Thats what the interpretation of chart is all about. I can comfortably do any job. I do it with perfection and clarity. But I never try to bargain for salary or jump jobs for salary hike.
I have great health anxiety. In my rahu dasha I have been to emergency room at hospital imagining heart problem and it turned out to be heartburn.
I have strong feelings for hometown and country. I am very close to my parents. But whenever my parents get sick it scares me. My health anxiety (4th house rahu) has ruined my full potential on my job (10th house sun+ketu).
I feel that this configuration makes one worry a lot. Although they manage to make money from job.

Now should I work on developing my emotional well-being and nurturing abilities (based on 4th house) or work on developing my communication skills (based on Gemini)? Similar placement. Always felt emotionally deprived, from both parents. Even I feel that they themselves are deprived of emotions. I tend to have strong relationship with my mother and maternal family, but it remains elusive for most of the time.
