Bajra roti, bajra parathas and now bajra dosa, wow it is really a treat. You are doing with full conviction and with elan. Sooo nice. Not to forget giving tips about oil that is, which oil to use and even a small tip putting hand and mix the batter also very well. Thank u for giving such a wonderful recipes.
@@skinnyrecipes Thank u so much for putting ingredients in the description box. One more request, if u can show onam sadhya recipes one by one in a series of video i will be very happy to know kerala vegetarian sadhya dishes. Its my simple request.
You solved my problem about taking bajra in winter reasons recipes. I was too much upset coz I was not getting practiced trained to result soft bajra roti and finally I prepared bajra but with winters recipes reasons for my mom and she well understanding my inability of bringing results as good soft bajra roti simply took me at ease and had the same hard rotis in her meal time without feeling offended. And today when I shared your way of making bajra idlis, dosa, many more she simply felt so good about it coz we never had anything of such ways with bajra anytime in our meal preparation practices throughout our lives...this really lot big amount of relief I recieved about my bajra roti makings efforts. Thanks 🙏
When I saw bajra in my grocery bag I wondered what would I do with it.. but Ma’m your mind blowing recipe has made me fall in love with this millet💗 tons of thanks Ma’m for being there🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I liked the chutney recipe very much because I want to include amla in daily eating habits but don't know how to do it because I cant eat it ,this is a very nice tric to use it👌👌 I will try idli with this batter 😊😊
Omg Maam I made this batter last Sunday and had them during lunchtime whilst working and I didn't have to have dinner and I feel better too it doesn't interfere with my sleep either thank you for sharing this recipe as I just had 2 dosas with cup of tea x
Very tasty recipe. I tried the recipe with Pearl millet flour, readily available in the Indian market. I have also tried your cucumber and rice dosas. Loved it. Will try dosas of fox tail millets as well.
dear nisa ji i hv recently heard about these other millets like kodo, foxtail, little, barnyard etc. and that they are very healthy, if you know about them, could u pls share some recepies and knowledge on them. i love the way you explain, and make even difficult things sound easy and doable.
Hi ..I use all these millets in flour form..n some other available millets flour ..mix all...1 serving ladle of each Flour...add water...to a very thin consistency.....nt as thick as dosa batter..add salt n moringa leaves...n keep aside for 20-30 min...n make dosas...your healthy instant dosa is ready....
Wow!! Your dosas look yummy and must taste even more yummy. But I had a question about coconut chutneys. Much as we love them with our idlis and dosas but isn't too much of coconut supposed to be bad for cholesterol?? Also isn't it fattening??
Hello ma'am .l was looking for such recipes.luckly today i got it. My question is ; i have bajra flour(ata) ,so can i use it after grinding both lantils? Pls do answer me. Greetings and respect from pakistan

I’m certainly going to try this n hope for better success than bajra roti. Couple of things I wud request you to clarify please: 1. Is it better to have a separate dosa tava? 2. What happens to phytic acids when millet flours are used directly?
I made this today. With just one tweek.. I had lots and lots of curry leaves with me. So, i grinded this batter along with a large large bowl of fresh curry leaves. The dosa came out perfect, crispy.. very very tasty. None of my family realised it doesnt contain any rice. It was super healthy and.. am your fan girl since then.. Thanks for the recipe mam! You doing a great job!

Thank you for providing excellent recipes accompanied with educational nutritional facts. I have learned a lot from your videos. I have a request. Please provide information on how and when to control the heat/gas flame while making dosas on an iron skillet. I purchased the exact cast iron skillet recommended by you and seasoned it per your instructions. However, the batter sticks to the skillet. I think it is because I don't know how to control the heat. In your demonstrations you always say that the cast iron skillet must be hot and apply sesame oil. After that you say nothing about lowering to medium or medium-high or leaving it on high when batter is poured and spread out and also while it is cooking. Please do respond. Thank you in advance.
You will know it with practice. It is difficult to explain all these nuances. Once the tawa is hot and you apply oil, reduce it to lowest and then spread the batter. Keep the flame in medium for some time, till you see slight brownish shade in the dosa, reduce the flame again and flip it over. Hope this helps. But I don't think this is the reason for dosa sticking to tawa. It could be something with the seasoning. Just guessing
Tried it today morning! Was a big hit! No compromise in the taste and the crispiness!
You are my health professor. I love the way you present the topic. I am enjoying your food with my entire family
