And I spent so much money I could cry thinking about it now. I had to buy meduim transfer , mod pog , decoupage and my list just goes on and with complete faillure !!!!!! Thank you ! I love you !! God bless you !! can't wait to learn more of your great easy ideas !! You are AWESOME ! xoxox Love You & GRATEFUL for your superb knowledge !!!!
FINALLY! UGH... Thank you so so much. Finally, someone that explains in detail and walks you through it. I've tried another one and it didn't work out at all! I can't wait to try your method with my grandkids. God Bless and Happy Holidays, debs from Texas
I just tried this as a Christmas gift and it came out great first time, thanks so much. The only different thing I did was I taped the cooking parchment as I found it difficult to hold tight and work. My inlaws are now on a candle and I hope they are chuffed at Christmas.
The yin/yang tatoo do also mean something special to me, so I saw it rigth away. 👍🏻🙃🤗☯️☮️💟🕉 Thanks for the lesson about the candle transfere motive. 🕯🎐💌
I need help with the type of colour printer needed. Whats best, inkjet or laser? Also what is best gsm tissue paper to use? Im in Australia. Really want to try but dont know the most suitable printer. Thanks😊
Thank you for the video. Very nicely done, and also easy to understand. I am not a patient woman either. I do have a question, can you use this method on non-flammable candles? Thank you.
Hello. I did one but it melted my candle no picture can u send me list of what product u useing please very confused my self it look so easy on here i gone out by all my stuff please would u help many thanks jane i like the video
Very nice. But please let me know what kind of ink you use in your printer, because i tried to print the tracing paper on my pronter but it doesn't work. Please reply. Thanks.
Yes, the tissue paper melts slightly into the candle. With these types of candles, they tunnel, and I have never had an issue with the paper catching fire.
@@ThisSouthernGirlCan Thanks for the response! I'm not making a candle. It's for an art project where I want to print on wax and make it run. I'll have to do a test run, but I'm guessing the tissue paper doesn't break down.
#ThisSoutherngirlcan I was wondering the exact same thing. All the DT LED Candles are not white at my stores. Like a lil cream or maybe pale yellow. Can't think of the color but I'm sure you know ;). U said it does best on white?I'd love to do this as a wedding present and would like for them to be able to use it and not worry about losing the pic. Is the wax thick enough on the LED Candles & color ok? Tysmia!!!! U Rock!!! Love all your work and tks for inspiring me to craft again!!!!!
@ThisSouthernGirlCan I know, that's what I was trying to do, but then the parchment paper tore, and the candle fell on the floor ☹️, but thank you so much for replying!
Hii i tried this technique but my picture fell off after some time ! While using hair dryer my img did turn darker but i didnt really wait after i switched off the dryer to peel off the parchment paper ! Can anyone please help me!?
If the picture came off, it wasn't embedded in the wax deep enough. Heat it for a bit longer next time. It needs to be cool before you peel off the parchment.

These came out beautiful!
My brother had to put his dog down last night, so I think I'll make him one for Christmas.
I'm so sorry for his doggy. Yes, this would make a wonderful memorial gift.
Excellent video and one of the best I've seen! Nice to hear someone from close to "home" ... I'n TN. Thank you for sharing.

Love that video I watch all your videos you explain it so well thanks for sharing
Tried someone else's you tube post for this and the photo never would transfer. Your instructions worked. Thanks!
I'm so glad it worked for you!
I like your teaching style - you seem like a lot of fun!!

New sub from Maine. Love these candles. The cat looked like my Moose
Thank you so much! I had a big gray cat named Smokey.
What a great idea, you make it look so easy, I'm sure going to give it a try.
Thank you 💜

Thank you for the video. Very nicely done, and also easy to understand. I am not a patient woman either. I do have a question, can you use this method on non-flammable candles? Thank you.
You can, as long as they are made out of wax
Think you for making this videos and bringing hope and creative sides to others just like you good bless you
Beautiful! ❤
I am a foreigner, but I love your cool voice tone 😉
Can’t wait to try this 👍🏻❤️
So beautiful... i love it
Thank you!
Thank you I can't wait to try this!
Is it silk tissue or normal cotton face tissue? Can I use tracing paper instead of tissue paper?
These are incredible!!!! What a great idea, love...love...love them. :-)
Love it! Omg can't wait to try that.
Omg, you make me chuckle. "I got a boo boo." If you're like me, it's a darn paper cut. Which hurts most of all!
Thanks a for a great video!
Hello, do you place the image face down on the candle, or face down?
Really cute. I am going to try one. Thanks for the share.
These came out great! ✅
I think you do beautiful work
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Just love you nail paint❤
Me tooooooooo.
If you use a dollar store glass candle n decoupage it, do you need to heat seal it, so the glue doesn't start to melt
Thank you for this video!
Thanks for sharing always wanted to do this, but didn't know how👍👍👍👍

🎄💜🎄 Thanks Amber, what a cool idea!!!! Can’t wait to give this a try. I’m like you, I want things done now!!! 😍😍
OMG this is so awesome. It would be great for a Christmas present. New sub. Tfs 🎅💚❤🎄from PA
Yes, these would make excellent Christmas gifts. or for any other gift-giving occasion! Thank you so much for subscribing!
Could you use this for a memory candle for a pet that passed away 😢 ?
Do you use a particular website to obtain your pictures? Great craft and it's absolutely beautiful.
These are pretty neat! Do you think this would work for a laser printer?
They sure will. I've seen people use laser printers for them.
You can also rubber stamp images using a waterproof stamp pad, and then color with alcohol markers on your tissue paper and that works too!
Ohh.. that's clever! Thank you!
Nice....🥰
Try a glove for the heat...
Love this!!!!
So neat thanks for showing this
So beautiful
That is so cool, thank you for sharing.
Really kool idea!!!!
What printer do you recommend
Damn I just did 7 for a wedding Memory candles sure wish I had used parchment paper. Thanks girl
How do they burn? Pretty well? Doesn't the tissue paper pose a fire hazard risk? Just curious
Most of the pillar candles that I have put this on sort of tunnel down the middle, and don’t burn all the way to the edge.
Love it. Thank u
Great video,Shalom
Very nice. But please let me know what kind of ink you use in your printer, because i tried to print the tracing paper on my pronter but it doesn't work. Please reply. Thanks.
This is just a standard ink jet printer. Hewlett Packard
love it so pretty
First time watching
Does the tissue paper melt into the candle? If so, does it not burn and set fire?
Yes, the tissue paper melts slightly into the candle. With these types of candles, they tunnel, and I have never had an issue with the paper catching fire.
Very Cool!!😊
My candle ends up so melted. It leaves wax drips or uneven wax under the candle.. any suggestions
You’re printing on a regular printer? Or a laser printer?
Either one will work
@@ThisSouthernGirlCan which one you use??
Did u have to use a laser printer or regular one??
You can use either one
What is the difference in results from wax paper and parchment paper? Can you please explain this is my first time
What happens to the image as the candle burns and melts down, does the tissue paper melt with the wax?
From my experience, the wax pretty much tunnels down the middle, and never really completely destroys the outside image.
@@ThisSouthernGirlCan Thanks for the response! I'm not making a candle. It's for an art project where I want to print on wax and make it run. I'll have to do a test run, but I'm guessing the tissue paper doesn't break down.
Great idea!!!!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful
Can you share the photoshop dimensions you used please or whatever software you used to print the images?
Could you do this to the LED pillar candles?
You sure can. Just make sure they ar emade out of real wax. I've seen some that are wax, and some that are plastic.
#ThisSoutherngirlcan

You're very welcome!
How do you keep the candles from getting ripples in the wax?
If you keep the heat gun or hairdryer, constantly moving, and don’t concentrate on one spot for too long, that seems to work best
@ThisSouthernGirlCan I know, that's what I was trying to do, but then the parchment paper tore, and the candle fell on the floor ☹️, but thank you so much for replying!
Can we still burn the candle?
You can
Just a warning about Parchment paper from Dollar Tree. I bought some and not only did everything stick to it but it actually singed in the oven.
We can do led candles also like this
Hi dear.. When the candle keep burning then what happen to the tissue paper??
Big candles like this usually tunnel. Meaning that the outside of the candle stays in tact and burns down through the center
Would this work with a pic printed on photo paper?
Unfortunately, no. The tissue paper sort of melts into the very top layer of the candle. Photo paper is a bit too thick.
Which type of tissue paper?
These are beautiful! Could I use a decorative napkin for my image? If so, any tips & tricks would be appreciated. Have a blessed day!
You sure can! Just unfold the napkin so it is only 1 layer thick. It needs to be pretty thin to seep into the wax.
Looove💕
Is there any way to make this without a computer and printer
You can use pretty napkins. Just separate them until they are only one ply, cut out the design, and then use the same method.
What kibd of printer did you use..??
Just a regular ink jet
I think I'm going to make a few of these for gifts, thank you.
hey! I really love this amazing idea!
I don’t remember off the top of my head. I do remember that I went to Google, and searched for flower clipart.
@@ThisSouthernGirlCan,
thank you so much!
Where can I find these images to download?
I just searched Google for clip art
Can I use colour candle
it came out nice ,but I'd like to see the whole process
The video is pretty self explanatory lol
Oh my I love that i got to get everything together. BEAUTIFUL Thank you for sharing vickey_cook from Ky
C as n we do the same thing on a flameless candle??
You can, just make sure it is the better quality ones made from real wax. It won't work on the cheaper ones made out of plastic.
When the candle gets burned does the paper with photo come out or not...
ankita gautam I would love to see the answer to this. Thanks for asking this question
Hii i tried this technique but my picture fell off after some time ! While using hair dryer my img did turn darker but i didnt really wait after i switched off the dryer to peel off the parchment paper ! Can anyone please help me!?

@@ThisSouthernGirlCan ok i will try again thank u !!!!
Where can i get the tissue paper
Anywhere that sells wrapping paper and gift bags and such. Dollar Tree, WalMart....
Can this be Mod Podged?
Only on an led candle. Not on a real one.
WOW
Can we see the printer?
This is an old video, and I no longer have that printer. You can use either inkjet or laser printers. It doesn’t matter
