Very nice. Also if you are worried about a fire hazard you could always transfer the image onto a wax candle that has been hollowed out had a battery compartment and faux flame added 😊
Informative video, thank you so much for the gift idea. People always use common sense when burning candles. My favorite line in a movie, Tom Hanks as Forest Gump, "Life is like a box of Chocolates" .
I make candles as well and if I were to use this technique I'd use a smaller wick so it wouldn't burn all the way to the edge causing it to tunnel but keeping the picture intact and not catch fire. Maybe not even wick it all the way through so when it burned out it could then be used to burn votives or tealights in.
I used a led candle but I used a regular computer paper. It came out little thick but it was my first time. It came out great, if I say so. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Great instruction: you have given us a way to make beautifully decorated candles here in our New Zealand Christian monastery. Many thanks and God bless.
What a beautiful couple! I've been binge watching your videos. I'm a soap maker but have been considering expanding into candles. Your videos have been very informative. I've learned a lot from you. Thank you.
This technique can be done on the waxy type battery operated candles. I did it with a blow dryer but it did take longer. I bet a heat gun would have worked better. Thanks for the video. Your candles look nice 🤗❤️
I came to class prepared after watching about 4 videos so far! Notebook, pen, and snacks 😂! I'm big on taking notes especially if I'm doing research. THANK YOU SO MUCH‼️💕
No need to take notes. You can just rewatch the videos, over and over and over and over lol. and tell your friends to watch them, over and over and over and over lol
very nice. It makes me laugh (or cry) when I hear all the US persons say they got this at Walmart for $2.00. I went to the dollar store to get a candle and it was $8.25 so I didn't buy it. Will have to get to the USA and do some shopping. Thank you for the video
No homo, but I kind of tell that he's a sweet kind of guy. A muscle man, cool crew haircut, with tattoos, but proud of his girl, has a sense of humor, and makes DIY gifts. You da man! Great job on this vid!
That is such a great Video, I am so excited to get to the stores to buy a couple of Candles to make for some Christmas gifts - THANK YOU for sharing your knowledge
That's a nice idea and something fun to play around with. Since I'm a candle-maker and photographer I find it particularly interesting. You crack me up with the faces you make at the end of your videos, LOL. :) Keep up the great work.
They came out Awesome! Thanks for mentioning they may be a fire hazard. My friend wants me to make her a keepsake photo candle. I will try this method using the heat gun.
love your candles!!! what kind of printer do you use? i have a laser jet will that work with the tissue paper or this type of printer is too hot for the tissue paper?
Hi Tim, from the U.K, love your tutorials. Would you be able to do a video of your craft room? I noticed in one of your videos, ice cube trays, filled with different colour waxes. Could you give all subscribers a run around of all your stuff, you seem well organised. Many thanks Barry
Maybe embed a 1/2 inch foil ring border around the candle above the paper? The candle burns down to the foil, it creates a pool of wax that will put the wick out. Sounds good in theory.
HELP!!!!! PLEASE!! I'm having trouble with my candles burning properly. I believe it's Wick related. Is there some kinda Guide for Wick size for Candle size or something like that? I can't get my candles [no matter what size, shape] To stay burning without cutting a Crevice in the candle. Thank You For Any Advice
Hello, when making these photo candles… does it have to be placed on a white candle or can you b use other candle colors too? I was just thinking my sisters favorite colors are red and blue but wasn’t sure if the photo would pic up a red or blue hue to their faces in the photo. 🤷🏻♂️
This is beautiful. I’m gonna attempt to make these for my niece’s funeral service 🙏🏾 thanks
Bomb diggity dog. You can see the haziness going away. Awesome
They can let it burn down enough to add a tea light candle in the top and they will never burn it away and always have the gift.
Very nice. Also if you are worried about a fire hazard you could always transfer the image onto a wax candle that has been hollowed out had a battery compartment and faux flame added 😊
So glad found this I am going to try this for a memorial candle
Glad you covered the fire hazard issue, to combat this you could use wax covered led candles❤️
You can Transfer the photo, Ink only, onto a candle. Inkjet Printer is needed of course, there's No Paper when one does it that way.

I love how this came out but I have 1 question. Wouldn't the dust from the tissue paper affect your printer? Are you using a special brand tissue?
Awesome thanks for the tutorial. Blessings on your business.
