I have always been pro-stock intake. Saying that they’re just for noise and if you’re buying it to make more power, your money is better spent elsewhere. I just got an afe power intake and it definitely improved turbo/throttle response and top end acceleration. The only other relevant mod i have is cts downpipe, still on stock tune.

i got an afe CIA on a 2011 vw jetta se and the noise i hear now is loud loud 😅 i would also say that my pulls are way better than the stock intake great video btw

150 mile-ish trip w/ a fresh new full tank of gas
About 30% city/traffic and the rest was a mix of cruising at 70mph at around 2.5k rpm & doing small pulls to get pass cars
Came out to about 33mpg only
@@LucasHuang That's awesome I can only seem to manage about 27mpg with ac on and stock intake on the highway and some city driving
@@bestdadbod463 The most I've ever hit was like 40mpg but it was super conservative where I was strictly cruising at 50mph... I think I hit that when I was driving with a blown turbo & EPC light actually 🤣
The the arm website for that intake it comes with the blue filter, how did you get the black one ?
