This is definitely in my Top 3 exhaust notes of all time. Gorgeously exotic and distinctively Euro, yet still tickles my American-raised “small block” V8 sensibilities. Absolutely love this car!
I’ve always wanted a rs5 since 2015, I love the new rs5 interiors but nothing beats a v8 high reviving rs5…I currently have a 2021 gli, I now know the next car I’m going to save to get🤞🏽
wheel horsepower somewhere in the 300’s. Crank it’s putting out 500-520. Wheels horsepower in these cars can change dramatically if we have lightweight wheels, CCB, lightweight flywheel, pulleys, etc.
Cars with similar mods were pushing 520 at the crank and 375-390 at the wheels. The TCU tuning and DSG paired with the power is what makes it so fast. Car is also lightened by about 150lbs. If you drive it in cool weather, the power also really dials up.
Car is stupid fast in this cold air with the new tune and decat. love it! 😍
which tune are you on now ?
@@schoona90 was running the catless file with more power * flywheel
@@PantherBlackAudiRS from JHM ? nice work, car sounds great!
Yep all JHM goodies, full Stage 2. Completely transformed the car.
@@PantherBlackAudiRS Does catless smell bad inside the cabin

Best sounding V8 I’ve ever heard, unreal!

Amazing sound.
Rowdy
Fuel costs a lot these days but it's worth it for that gear change sound.
LOL…. Literally burnt half a tank for a 30 minute drive 😈
@@PantherBlackAudiRS that's good going my record was 3MPG on the autobhan. Did manage 186mph however 🤓
What is that light that is on? I think I see that in all your video's. Does that have something to do with emissions?
ESC (stability control) was partially off, I turn it OFF (hold 3 seconds) for sportier driving and launching so there's no reduction in power/slip
so exactly what mods do you have?
To name a few:
JHM Stage 2 ECU Software: 93 Octane Map: 520+ horsepower (SAI & CAT Delete)
JHM DSG TCU Tune (8800rpm redline, 6000rpm launch)
JHM 2.75” Catless Race Headers
JHM 2.75” Non-Resonated Downpipes w/ X-Pipe
JHM 2.75" Catback Exhaust (Tasteful & Exotic)
JHM Lightweight Flywheel
JHM Lightweight Crank Pulley
JHM Silicone Intake Hoses
JHM S-Series Lowering Springs
ECS Tuning Transmission Billet
RMR High Flow Crash Bar
Setrab Transmission & DSG Cooler
Fast FC04 Lightweight 20" Wheels (-20lbs unsprung weight)
Carbon Clean + New Injectors + New Seals + New Plugs
@@PantherBlackAudiRS what do you think of an e85 tune? I think it could make serious (relatively speaking) gains. Like 20-30hp more than 93.
@@PapiAndrey probably, the engine definitely ramps power up when it’s kept cool. I’m not sure of anyone who’s successfully done it though?
Have you gotten it on a dyno yet? Iron garage has an AWD dyno man
