Thank you for the video! My 2013 Nissan Rogue trunk would not latch. I bought a part on Amazon for $20, arrived next day and fixed the back door. Total job took about 30 minutes by the time I managed all of the rear door pop clips. Overall, simple install and your instructions helped a lot. The old part plastic slider froze / jammed in the same way you described.
this video did wonders for me and my husband! we own a 2017 and swapped the part from a 2011 and it works! no mechanic i called could figure out what the problem was! thank you so much!

AJ I’m so happy I found your video, I made sure to subscribe to your channel. I have a 2015 rogue. The rear door warning will remain on even when it is closed. This only happens when it is cold outside. By replacing the latch would this fix the warning issue? Thank you in advance
Hey my hatch just stopped working, it's not making any noise when I push my buttons. I can only open it from the inside pushing the little white button. Do you think if I replace it the way you did in the video it might solve the issue?

That’s a great question. The Nissan rogue is a like a mini version of the murano. I’d imagine it would be the same, but I would double check on the part you need to replace this
@@AJDIYNetwork I think it turns out that when my father had some bodywork done, they replaced the three internal bolts with these white plastic clips. Still going to check out the video though to be sure.

What is the part called that you ordered? I have a 2015 nissan rogue select that has this same issue. I have it tied down with rope to keep it closed
