That was a pleasant, attractive tour. I too appreciate melatonin at bedtime. Most people go for a calming bedroom vibe, but the idea of a relaxing bathroom environment is brilliant. That is a place we visit regularly and it is small space where we can wind down. A nice, relaxing bath is invaluable. Ikea is a great source for basic items that we can adapt or enhance. I like how well thought out everything is. And the projects like the dresser are beautifully done.

Love your apartment but would like to have seen more of it. Love the green wall in your kitchen. Your bedroom setup is perfect with the table at the end of the bed. My apartment is also 500 square feet. I agree with you completely on the laundromat situation. We have a laundry room in the building but I decided a few years ago to start doing my laundry by hand in my apartment and I have never looked back. I use a very large bucket and a breathing mobile washer to wash my clothes. I love the Panda laundry products. I have their stainless steel clothes spinner. It is basically a water extractor and spins at very high speed. I bought it about 3 years ago and still love it. The clothes comes out almost bone dry and then I just hang them on a clothing rack with hangars for another couple of hours and they are done. Eventually I would like to also get the Panda dryer. I think you have a beautiful decorating esthetic. I have subscribed.

I think you did a great job with your apartment. The green wall in the dining works well with white and your green thumb. Green is the color of life! The floral print fabric on the back dining wall and floral arrangement are so pretty. I also like the yellow tile countertops in the kitchen. It gives the kitchen a CA traditional vibe. Talia, I think your very awesome and have a great humor. This morning I was watching a craft video when your's came up and you said you had been there 10 years. I screen swiped the title of your video so I could watch it tonight. I had to work late than went and did my mega month ly shopping and I did not get home until 8. I out everything away and then are dinner sitting in the couch watching your video. Now I have to (9:45pm) start cutting up chicken and veggies and make a good oot of soup. My mom has pancreatic cancer and she is coming for a visit for a little over a week. I make really good chicken soup and tomorrow it will be easy to heat up quick for her. While the soup is cooking I will move all my plants and srt up the tv for her. I do not watch TV. I bead, make crafts, sew, refinish furniture. Before moving to this house Oct 2019 I lived in a 1100 sq ft apartment on the 5th of a very old building just minutes away from Old Town and 8 min from Washington DC. I lived there from Oct 2000 until Oct 2019. I had a jungle between my dining room and living room. I love plants and thru add oxygen to the air. I start started painting with acrylics and my first one came out really good. Well, I lived in California for 7 years and I miss the vibes. I love it your kitchen is huge for a studio and your bed area really does look like a bedroom with a picture above it you really were great at separating that and making it its own space I did have to pause the video a few times just to get a good look at some of your areas because it was like a quick zoom then back to you which is cool but yeah I just subscribed and I'm about to watch some more

Hi, I like the way you've set up your home. Truly impressed that you have a (personal) washer and dryer. Was that a double sink in your kitchen?! Design means everything in a small space. Unfortunately, here where I live there is an entrance hallway that management will not allow me to utilize. (House rules) in case of emergencies medical assistance needs to be able to move freely in and out of my tiny square of an efficiency. However, it's my little home and, I have tried to make it peaceful and comfortable for me. Thank you for sharing your video.

How do you feel about it? I don't know if I could see myself here for another ten years. This place was great for my 20's but the neighborhood is getting a little too crazy and I don't really take advantage of being in Hollywood anymore. I actually don't mind the lack of space though... I'm leaning more toward getting an RV than upgrading to a bigger space...

I definitely agree about the couch - I'd like to get something larger one and definitely something with armrests. My only issue is I still want easy access to both sides of the couch for storage (Kallax cubes on one side, my canvases on the other). I also store tons of extra plant stuff behind and under the couch so I need to be able to move it with some ease... What I REALLY need to do is get rid of some stuff and condense storage into the top of my closet but I refuse. Glad I'm not the only one coming up on their 300th year single. I was going to get back out there in 2020 but the world literally shut down to prevent that from happening and I can take a hint. LOL Thanks for watching!

One of my friends used to run a website where you could download free vintage posters but that was years ago and the site is now defunct. :( To get the best bang for your buck, I'd recommend buying a digital download and getting your prints done at Fedex vs buying prints online directly. My favorite etsy sellers for downloadable vintage posters are ChaosandWonderDesign and TroveRetro. PlaidPenguinPrints, CreativeForestShop, NewAmericana and UpCraftsStudioDesign are good for affordable larger vintage prints. Hope that helps!

Your apartment is way too dark for a vlog you need to purchase a couple of ring lights. The shelving unit is way to large and contributes the darkness of your apartment. You mentioned the love of your plants but I think they also contributes to the messy look of your place sometimes less is more😳

I screen swiped the title of your video so I could watch it tonight. I had to work late than went and did my mega month ly shopping and I did not get home until 8. I out everything away and then are dinner sitting in the couch watching your video. Now I have to (9:45pm) start cutting up chicken and veggies and make a good oot of soup. My mom has pancreatic cancer and she is coming for a visit for a little over a week. I make really good chicken soup and tomorrow it will be easy to heat up quick for her. While the soup is cooking I will move all my plants and srt up the tv for her. I do not watch TV. I bead, make crafts, sew, refinish furniture. Before moving to this house Oct 2019 I lived in a 1100 sq ft apartment on the 5th of a very old building just minutes away from Old Town and 8 min from Washington DC. I lived there from Oct 2000 until Oct 2019. I had a jungle between my dining room and living room. I love plants and thru add oxygen to the air.
I start started painting with acrylics and my first one came out really good.

It does feel a lot larger than 500 square feet! I think the layout helps a lot - my last apartment was also a 500 square foot studio and it didn't feel nearly as spacious.

I love it your kitchen is huge for a studio and your bed area really does look like a bedroom with a picture above it you really were great at separating that and making it its own space I did have to pause the video a few times just to get a good look at some of your areas because it was like a quick zoom then back to you which is cool but yeah I just subscribed and I'm about to watch some more

Yes, I hate the electrical sockets as well. Cord management is one of my biggest goals for 2021 lol, I'd like to get as many of them completely out of view but because I have so few sockets I need to be creative with the extension cord situation.

Love your place and style. Fun personality and great voice. Let us see the the actual apartment instead of quick flashes of the pieces you’re speaking of. Maybe film the apartment keeping the camera on the apartment while doing a voice over. That way we can hear all of what you want to share with us, but we can continuously look at the apartment. Super eclectic and great style. Make it far shorter in length. You’re also a funny storyteller! Keep it up! 👌🏽

I've seen a few of these backyard builds and they're small but really nicely done and of course everything is new so if you're grandson can find one he likes, I'm sure he'll be able to make it his own and really enjoy the space.

Hi, I like the way you've set up your home. Truly impressed that you have a (personal) washer and dryer. Was that a double sink in your kitchen?! Design means everything in a small space. Unfortunately, here where I live there is an entrance hallway that management will not allow me to utilize. (House rules) in case of emergencies medical assistance needs to be able to move freely in and out of my tiny square of an efficiency. However, it's my little home and, I have tried to make it peaceful and comfortable for me. Thank you for sharing your video.

Yes, the kitchen sink is a double and it's quite deep. I got really luck with a lot of the features in the apartment (and generally permissive landlords).

I have lived in the same place for 21 years.
How do you feel about it? I don't know if I could see myself here for another ten years. This place was great for my 20's but the neighborhood is getting a little too crazy and I don't really take advantage of being in Hollywood anymore.
I actually don't mind the lack of space though... I'm leaning more toward getting an RV than upgrading to a bigger space...

Like it a lot! Love the plants, great bathroom and kitchen space!! Things I’d change: couch, too small, you seem to have room for a longer one, and office space: with that great kitchen table, I’d work from there!! Overall I enjoyed the video and, with you on the 300 plus years single hehe, my solidarity 😊
I definitely agree about the couch - I'd like to get something larger one and definitely something with armrests. My only issue is I still want easy access to both sides of the couch for storage (Kallax cubes on one side, my canvases on the other). I also store tons of extra plant stuff behind and under the couch so I need to be able to move it with some ease...
What I REALLY need to do is get rid of some stuff and condense storage into the top of my closet but I refuse.
Glad I'm not the only one coming up on their 300th year single. I was going to get back out there in 2020 but the world literally shut down to prevent that from happening and I can take a hint. LOL

Hello! Where did you get the prints that are hanging on your kitchen wall? I absolutely love them!
Hi there! One of my friends used to run a website where you could download free vintage posters but that was years ago and the site is now defunct. :(
To get the best bang for your buck, I'd recommend buying a digital download and getting your prints done at Fedex vs buying prints online directly. My favorite etsy sellers for downloadable vintage posters are ChaosandWonderDesign and TroveRetro. PlaidPenguinPrints, CreativeForestShop, NewAmericana and UpCraftsStudioDesign are good for affordable larger vintage prints.

Your apartment is way too dark for a vlog you need to purchase a couple of ring lights. The shelving unit is way to large and contributes the darkness of your apartment. You mentioned the love of your plants but I think they also contributes to the messy look of your place sometimes less is more😳
