I am super curious to where you live and also how much you’re paying for your rent? I live in San Diego and my 1bd/1ba is $1,400 for 600 sq. feet. 5 years ago it was $1,250 but it just keeps going up. I’m actually thinking about moving and so that’s why I ask 😊 I looked in the description and didn’t see where you’re living. I’ll try to scroll the comments. You’ve done a really smart and wonderful job with your space!

I love your studio apartment! I also live in a small studio in London UK and am a Music Teacher! My decor it's a bit retro and a bit vintage . It has a similar layout but two windows overlooking a comunal garden. Thanks for the great ideas on maximising your space and making it feel really homie.

For your closet clutter how about baskets, or see through bins with lids? The stackable kind. Just a suggestion. Love your comfee home.

You should make a wooden cover (maybe with a cutting board?) for your kitchen sink! It could help you with counter space when your cooking!
Omg, thank you for adding that tip for her. I have a kitchenette, living in an efficiency, & very little counter space. I only have a single basically farmhouse wide sink, so I would need a fairly wide cutting board

I love looove this apartment SO much. It’s so cute and has so much character and charm but most of all, is functional too. In 2 weeks I’m moving to a 300sq studio with all of 13” of counter space and it made me cry so much to think about how I could possibly manage. This video really comforts me and makes me know that I can do it. Thank you for sharing with us 🫶🏼

It's refreshing to see a realistic unit; how a person really live. I like how you met the challenges of utilizing every inch of vertical space for storage. And how you created so many living zones, it made your home seem a lot more spacious . The Living room, offices/Classroom, dining, kitchen, bath, and bedroom. Tiny house living!

When I was as young as you are, I would have killed to have such a nice place. Everything's new, clean, bright, and fully functional. And you're above ground. And you don't face brick wall. I lived in basement suites, and everything I had was either second hand or from the trash. This place is lovely.
I ADORE this place. I had a very similar studio apartment when I lived by myself. Now I have a hubby, more critters and and kiddos. And I honestly miss the efficiency and coziness of my own, tiny and tidy space!! Your place is LOVELY!

Cool! I am looking at ideas to decorate a tiny studio for myself and my child, so I can save up for a house and keep my child in a good school district, because CA is crazy expensive! Your place is super cute. If you want more counter-space you could make a cutting board that doubles as a sink cover or a stove cover cutting board.

I'm currently apt hunting and want a very spacious apt. However, after looking at smaller apt YT videos and especially after seeing yours, I definitely appreciate a smaller space now! You make your apt so functional yet so cozy! Everything in your apt serves a purpose and that's the point! Thank you for sharing!
You could give yourself a few extra feet in the "living" room if you took your closet doors off and stored them under your bed. You could hang some sheers to cover the closet and move your bed close to the closet where you just have room to stand. Then you could probably put an accent chair or whatever in the extra space. But it's really cute and you've done a great job making the most of it!

I agree Valerie ! I own a 230 sq ft flat and I know that furniture ( bed plus small sofa ) , bathroom and kitchen , does not match with 200 sq ft apt . Allthough , it is a cosy micro flat !
It’s all relative! To me, it’s really tiny! Living in something smaller would be pretty much impossible for me since I’ve been here almost 3 years. But yes, there are definitely people who live in smaller spaces and make it work!
It’s 268 to be exact! I measured not long before I posted but when I loved in I was told it was around 200! My bed takes up the majority of my apartment, but I wouldn’t have it any other way because sleep is so important to me!
