Not sure if we're going crazy, but yesterday I posted a comment here and pinned it. It contained our (Obvious and popular) opinion about the current situation in the world, and a fairly tame though witty remark about a certain villain. Either way, It's been removed, without any notification or sign it was ever there. This video has also dramatically stopped getting views. I'm not sure If It's all just a coincidence, or if for somebody's decided to censor us, which would be a hilarious waste of time.
lol the background look like the
Rotterdam map from battlefield 5
I think you might have been censored as I didn't get a notification for the video despite me being subscribed with the Bell on but I could have always missed it so take it with a grain of salt what I said.
No clue, but I'm able to see the video now.
So when's the cos play of certain unnamed man you reffered to in that comment chain then?
Shadow banning, RUclips does it all the time. They use bots/AI filters to "poof" your comment if it has something they didn't like. Do it to many times and flag your account (which you can't see nor will you get notified about), this sets it to where all of your comments - no matter what they are, get "poofed" approximately 30 seconds after publication.
They do it this way because if someone doesn't know their comments are getting deleted they're less likely to make a brand new account, and more likely to continue onwards entirely unaware that everything they say is getting deleted 30 seconds after they post it.
There are ways around the filters, and there's an underground anonymous group known as the eXodus Project (who are pro-free speech on social media platforms) that has both worked on creating a list of banned words and phrases (and alternate ways to type said words using alternate characters) as well as script editing to fool the bots, if you're interested. That way people will know what gets your comment deleted, and ways to type the same thing to get around the deletion filters.
There's also one surefire way to test if your comment will be deleted... wait thirty - forty-five seconds after posting it, then try to edit it. If you get an error and the comment is gone - you know a filter caught it.
Very impressed by how accurate you depicted the german hyperinflation after the first world war... I actually found a few million and billion Reichsmark banknotes at my grandparents' home when I was younger
Bloody hell!
That's actually worth face value now to collectors.
So...what, that's 2 or 3 bucks worth? Lol.
Anyway, that's a bit of a neat find.
@@Highice007 even today they're barely worth anything but a novelty
@@welkingunther5417 If you can find money from the Weimar republic or WW2, it would be worth lots of money to history enthusiasts. 100 marks= 100 euros or Canadian dollars, or American dollars. Collectors love that stuff.
The commentary on NFTs, Art, Art degrees and the inflation really hits home.
*insert George Lucas poetry quote here*
As an austrian I can confirm that this is completely historically accurate
Hopefully you don't get kicked out of art school
As a German I can confirm that confirmation.
Hopefully, you passed the entrance exam!
As a German assault I can confirm that confirmation of that historically accurate confirmation
As a what now? What country do you live in?
Half expected him to say: "Oh, you can't actually take the art with you, but here's a receipt saying you own it!"
This Schmidt fella’s going places I reckon. Just hopefully not places beyond the borders of Germany.
I dont think he ever left it seems wherever he went germanys borders grew to accomodate
@@braydoxastora5584 That wasn't Adolf that was talking, it was just suppose to sound exactly like what happened to him. This man's name was Schmidt.
He has family in Argentina I have heard now. Tough times in Germany.
Eh, "borders of germany" is a very wide term.
@puckay nah he’d be dead
Somewhere in another universe, a German war-veteran was undeterred by his inability to become a painter, and instead became an architect. He'd struggle and study and share his impressive new designs, until eventually getting a contract with the Weimar government to lead efforts to repair and renovate older buildings in the city of Munich.
His most famous work, the enormous *Munich Germanic National Beer Hall*, is regarded as a seminal piece of post-Great War architecture, and attracts hundreds of foreign visitors daily.
Although initially tempted by a path of Jewish anti-semitism, our humble architect would instead become a firm believer in racial and religious equality after meeting and working-with Mr. Bruno Ahrends, as a part of their shared work on the Berlin Modernism Housing Estates. The two would become fast friends, and would remain so until the day they died.
He would also experiment with growing a small 'pencil' moustache like the American silent-film star Charlie Chaplin, but his wife would encourage him to shave it off: "You look a bit crazed wearing that, darling!"
Why wasn’t I born in that timeline? It would have been so good.
That was until the USSR started a war
I want this to be true
Until his replacement eiter puts him in jell or a death camp
Or maybe he gets into politics and goes to war with the commuinst
And the fascist
Hmm that timeline sounds amazing too bad we are in the dark timeline
Meanwhile everyday he'd read about the ongoing crimes of the Spanish Fascist dictator, Pablo Picasso
The sheer amount of passive aggressiveness between these two blokes could start a war of its own
The salute at 1:55 was just perfect
Once again! Another brilliant video from Squire and his crew!
But It's only been up for 1 minute! You can't possibly know!
@@SquireComedy lol
@@SquireComedy I appreciate your honesty 😂 too many people praise your videos without watching it first
Oops, I think I did just that myself haha. Kinda?
'I was diagnosed with hysterical blindness - but I couldn't see the funny side' - priceless! Tommy Cooper lives on
Another legendary video from the man himself. Enough to send fritz all the way to berlin
Not quite to Moscow though.
Dude, if you were a teacher , everyone would like history .
Imagine if Adolfs father didn't change the last name. What sounds more intimidating?
"Hitler just invaded Poland"
Or
"Schnicklgruber just invaded Poland"
Schickelgruber*, and I imagine if that was his name as he committed the holocaust, it would sound just as intimidating to us today.
@@JesusNoGA True but I reckon it might be adapted into snacklegrubber due to more than 90% of the people butchering it.
I mean it's how we got Iskander and Alekzander from Alexander the Great.
@@JesusNoGA Maybe. It seems that in the 1940's, Americans at least found the name Schicklgruber funny enough to use it in mockery of Hitler.
'Shitler' sounds funnier than 'Shitelgruber'
@@JesusNoGA Dirlewanger is terrifying nowadays...albeit it sounds different from wither of those.
Can we all take a minute to appreciate the work these people are doing to entertain us. Man thank you very much 😃😃
Say, this Germany looks awfully suspicious, almost like it was filmed in the Netherlands. Maybe we should also give the Netherlands a small visit.
It's the Rotterdam map in Battlefield V 😂
You'll never prove that it was actually filmed in Rotterdam since the guy made sure all the evidence was destroyed.
Isn't the Kaiser there?
@@zacharyrollick6169not in Rotterdam, the Kaiser was in Doorn
This Schmidt guy seems to be really having a tough time. He should write a book about his struggles.
Maybe call it: My struggle
Hey, you found a native German speaker for the announcements! Already better than 99% of all actual movies about the war.
Smart use of BFV squire, it’s probably the most it can be used for these days.
Haha! The 3 players I ran into agreed with me.
2:11 i love how clearly its the netherlands instead of austria/germany
kruidenier, lmao
also just recognized, it's rotterdam BFV map
Squire.. who told you how smart you are…. This is really how WW2 started
Was suffering from cognitive dissonance seeing Rotterdam from BFV as the background, 😂 another great video! 🖤
I’m happy there are companies willing to sponsor this kind of content.
Me too. But, ahem, don't mention the war.
Yeah but there's a reason, that knife company are a bunch of scam artists selling the literal cheapest of crap for premium prices, banking on people just not knowing any better. And most don't.
The adverts deserve to be their own videos... they'll literally pay for themselves!
This just made my monday actually bearable
And thats saying something
Our pleasure mate, glad to be of service!
I like how the background is Rotterdam from bfv... I wasted my life on that game....
Brilliant video as always squire!
Always a pleasure to see a new squire video
I see a Squire video in my recommenations I immediately check it out. I was not disappointed. Not sure what was more entertaining...the begining knife commercial or the featured video. Kudos for both. Keep up the excellent work.
Lol I love how he's not even hitler
Didn't expect a Masterworks advert straight after the first advert!
Channel just keeps on pulling surprises!
this is the only channel where i sit through the sponsors cus its actually thought out and brilliant
God did I need this video. Help remind me the world isn’t all gloomy. That so for a great laugh mate. And to many more.
All part of the service. Hang in there, mate.
"Don't suppose you take Czechs, do you?"
Holy shit lol
Love how the comedy is witty and subtle
This was the smartest slapstick I’ve seen in a while. I loved it!
Mm must have missed this during my highschool history classes, as always another amazing video
Well-researched and well-written. Absolutely hilarious
Star Wars and squire, can it get any better!?
There's nothing else I can say except that these videos are BRILLIANT!
The Bf5 background makes it so much better.
I love your channel keep up the great stuff
"Non-Fungible pieces of art" NFTS in 1922
The decision to start the video with an ad was rather bold. I've never seen a video cold open onto an ad before.
Love the twist ending, you’re a real M.Night shamlamalamal
That is so far the best way to sponsor stuff on RUclips. Period.
this channel is great the adds are seamlessly included
Mate squire, another quality product
Well atleast that Star Wars Knife promo was pretty creative
Excited to watch it!
Awesome video!
Thanks old chap!
yes another awsome squire vid
Those paintings are actually really nice.
The background is the Rotterdam map in Battlefield V😂😂
Is that rotterdam battlefield 5 map in the background ? great video
Just realized the backgrounds are from Battlefield V.
No matter how screwed up life gets you two crack me up! You guys are definitely my favorite channel.😂😜
Why does squire have the best ads ive ever seen? Never skip them
The twist at the end was funny
That pre-roll ad was the best advertisement I’ve ever seen.
Nicely done. Thanks for the laughs guys.
“perfect for your wife…or niece” damn squire really went there huh?
This has to be my favourite sponsered bit so far.
Great stuff friends 👏 👍
Probably one of the best sponsor ad I have ever seen
Y'all are amazing with these sponsorships haha
Ok that add was awesome
I like how they use a bf5 map as the background probably
We gotta appreciate how people like squire manage to make very historically accurate videos while also keeping it entertaining. I'm sure the british would love it
you guys get the craziest sponsors
I like the BF5 background lol
LOVE the commercial!
5:29 Sick burn!
Ironical buying the paintings is a good investment.
Many people see world war 2 as the direct aftermath of world war 1
a French (high officer?) guy said that the treaty of Versailles isn’t a peace treaty but a ceasefire for 20 years
I think you got the date wrong, Beerhall putsch was in 23. Still a great short none the less!
Love the Battlefield V background.
This was the best sponsor ad yet. Although I do have to disagree with the hype for Japanese steel. Remember the whole folding thing with the katana? That wasn't just to have layers, but to work impurities out of the worst steel on the planet, and to make up for any issues the inferior steel would've caused structurally.
Best twist ending I've seen in a while
I love that the background is the Rotterdam map from BFV.
**Foreshadowing intensifies**
6:19 with The Czech is funny!
Lol. The only channel where I don't handskip the sponsors.
Biggest twist ever filmed
Even the ads are original masterpieces
"Oh selling little uh, postcards are we? Awww..."
"Kunst"
🤣
Did anyone else notice how the background is Rotterdam from Battlefield V? The corner near B point at least in conquest.
I have continued admiration for your ballsy thumbnails Squire lol.
More like...Ball-y.
You know, because Hitler. Haha. I'll leave.
I needed the laugh. Thank you.
An ad for a product that squire can’t own without his loicense
I can't believe you flew to Austria to film this. Very nice.
Star Wars? Smashing, mate!
Your sponsors really should pay you more, best ads on youtube by a mile.
4:11 "Your a bloody architect" Remind me of RCE
me: loves videoes so much that i clicked play all
The skit was great
1:16 what is the box made of? it's definitely stronger than the door armor on the spaceship which was sliced by the knife like butter. sell that to military as tank armor material.
I would like to ask, how is this high quality steel due to being locally sourced in Japan, when Japan's historical issue and why they have the whole folding technique was that there's no truly good iron ore in Japan...
>What are imports
Yes
10/10 knife commercial, I haven’t even started the video yet.
That was a great advertisement.
i love the use of rotterdam as the background!!!
