This has always been a class that interests me. I saw you holding up a traditional mudboss that you custom built. I would love to see a video comparing the two!
Same here,i love the body,i made my own yrs ago but i put street tires &tried to go 6s &didnt work 2 well lol,it was a donut king haha, but it def turned some heads.
Friday night 6/14 , was the hot topic at our track. Lots of guys getting one , myself included. Brought up in drivers meeting, will most likely be our new spec class
I got a tip a few weeks back about this release. It stopped me from buying all the stuff needed to race the mudboss class. Figured I’d wait and see what this release was going to be and thankfully I didn’t go all out. I haven’t raced since I was a kid but I have been wanting to for a while. So I bought a slash. I guess I’ll use it as a street stock car. Figured I’d have 2 sets of shocks. One set for play and one set setup for racing. Now I’ll just have two cars instead to go with the other 20 I have lol
Traxxass will sue you into hell if you create anything that resembles their stuff. But its ok for them to completely rip off someone else's idea and even steal its name. Traxxass does not care about the RC community.
Unfortunately their focus as a big business is big sales and that is what comes first. Too bad Eric Salvas never trademarked the name. Cuz now you know Traxxas will. You KNOW he’s fuming over this. And it’s not even close to legal for Mudboss rules. They used that name for sales and they will sell. I’ll buy one but for SC Mod… not Mudboss. It’s NOT a Mudboss. I do dig it though.
I live in Evansville Indiana and I didn't know the first mudboss race was here in my city and now I have one that I will be racing here at HighSide Hobbies and Raceway that is now in Henderson Kentucky just across the river from Evansville
In the rear are mounts uses the same amounts on the Nitro slash you can get degree rear blocks 1 2 and 3 degree positive and negative set your rear steer on the back of the car now you can flip your front tires to your rear and have your rears offset to the front
Seems the Traxxas Mudboss name is going away in favor of Modified! We had a great turnout tonight of the Traxxas car 7 cars on a Friday night. 997 raceway!
Its an exact copy and even named it after what Eric Salvas had created. Traxxass does not care about the RC community. You will find out if you stay in it long enough.
Unfortunately everyone at my local track is saying this is not on my boss it cannot be run in a mudbox class just sucks too many rules to racing I just want to buy something out of the box I'm on disability I can't afford thousands of dollars of upgrades
All that thing is good for is a quick leap to open late model... All they're doing is stepping on all of the small manufacturers who make the specialized parts for these classes..
Can’t steal what’s not owned. Why Eric Salvas never got the trademark on the name is beyond me. But you can bet Traxxas will and the lawsuits will keep anyone else from touching it. Best example of unscrupulous marketing in the RC world right here gents.
@@guymarotta2596 I see people asking on Traxxas Facebook feeds “what’s wrong with my truck it makes a bad noise and won’t move. How do I take the gearbox apart” perhaps if you built it you might have a clue how it works.
What gets me with all this Mark I started watching your channel before you start at the download build series on the the mudBoss because I had been interested in it until I realized what kind of tires and wheels y'all was running truck tires and wheels but yet you don't see Billy's pouch Junior who runs modified up north having truck tires underneath his modified race car and yet y'all are sitting here throwing a fit about the way the body looks my thing is that's the reason I never built a mudboss is because I'm not running truck tires underneath the race car .
I love the sound of the tires!

That is an awesome unit that’s gonna put a hurt on the big block class.
I’m surprised they didn’t jump on this years ago…

Exactly what I was thinking
GREAT VIDEO LOVE THE CAR GETTING BACK INTO RC THANKS FOR THE SPARK

Its the tyres. The way they look and sound.
gtr n lcg , tires , 272. Best car release ive seen. No more guys trying to order from stipple or building bodys
traxxas has a template for wraps on the web page

Build one so you don't look like a newb. This is a rip off of what Eric Salvas has already created.
@@shaynejenkins446maybe he is a Newb
awesome traxxas

I bet most people that will buy this have never heard of Mudboss and likely don't care if it meets specs.
@@MagnifiedGiant no shit?
Picking mine up next week!
Can’t wait to get one

It feels weird we won’t have to build them ourselves anymore
And it is an out of the box racer
Yes I’ve been waiting for another race ready rc car the sr10 was the first now this
Oh yea!!
I'm not an oval guy, but I'll pick for an off road project.

Is losi going 2 bring back the L8ight models now?fingers x'd
Right!!!
If u build it they will race!!!!my quote dont steal it traxxas!haha
get on with it damn .
Wondering how these are going to change the class. Will they be running against the Salvas version?
My biggest curiosity is: how many of these parts are compatible with my nitro slash so I can have a nitro dirt oval truck?
Seen it last week at the local shop
But you can wear out the bell cranks lol
where do we get one? Pre-order only?
Apparently Hobbytown will have them on the 21st
Bandit sprint car next?
Dang it. I just did bought a bl-2s system for my current mudboss
Your better off
❤❤

Anyone notice, how much caster it has?
Wow how much brother ❤
When do they hit the shelves
The 21st
It’s your track, cause I’ve seen that thing rip on a well maintained track.
How much. I like that a lot
gearing and tires changed- would be good and car untouched- straight out of the box. stock electronics only. 2s battery. id race one.
Build an Eric Salvas style modified instead so you don't look stupid when you bring one of these rip off's to the track.
I think it's cool, but racers tend to resist change. Time will tell if this changes the existing Mudboss class.
Its an exact copy and even named it after what Eric Salvas had created. Traxxass does not care about the RC community. You will find out if you stay in it long enough.
I personally don’t like it but we also don’t have any where to run stuff like that
I believe if you were wet the track, it would have handled much better.
Biggest hype ever.
And next will be the Maxx Slash Mudboss, LoL.
Unfortunately everyone at my local track is saying this is not on my boss it cannot be run in a mudbox class just sucks too many rules to racing I just want to buy something out of the box I'm on disability I can't afford thousands of dollars of upgrades
Well the spindles have broke , but with much abuse .
Go run it on dirt like it suppose to be.
If you get paid for work you do, you are a professional. No??
couldn't make it to the end . y'all drug it out to much.
I wish they would bring back the funny car and not all these slash garbage with different bodies
That funny car was the biggest piece of junk traxxas ever made

I hate it if you can't get the kits you can build . But they have basically slowly stop coming and eventually there will be no kit you can build
