Hey everyone! This is Cody from Barn Swallow Tiny Homes! I just wanted to hop in the comments to thank you all so much for your love and support on this video. We are beyond proud of this AWD Ford Transit Conversion and are grateful for Patrick of NJOA for taking the time to share our work! P.S. I’ll also be available in the live chat if you’d like to privately inquire or have anything you’d like to discuss!
Cody is what our country needs more of. It’s always encouraging to see a young man as motivated and genuinely caring about the quality he is selling. Bravo
Congratulations, I think you have the best design thus far. Every detail and every corner has a purpose and reason for being where it is. If I had the money to have a camper van made, this one fits the build 100%. Keep up the Great quality and workmanship.
Thank you so much! This is a wonderful compliment 😊 We really try to deductively consider every variable and it’s impact on another. It drives me mad sometimes and I can’t even tell you how many days of measuring and figuring goes into a build like this.
High end, gorgeous finishes. The garage is like an art installation. Gaining 2 or 3 inches here and there, where available, makes so much difference. The dining table and seating is brilliant. Thanks for the tour! Can't wait to see more from you.
@@barnswallowtinyhomes2990 it's a beautiful build but for $155,000 I would rather have a nice tiny house with more room. If I was younger and healthy it would probably be different.
Great woodwork with a mixture textures. I like your roll out seat and table, good use of space. That’s the biggest van sink I’ve ever seen! The fridge was a surprise, it’s huge. It’s a nice home for two, but better yet a perfect home for a retiree that wants to travel the country. Job well done!!
Awesome build! Bucket list vehicle ❤ love the coziness of the wood and the reclaimed barn wood super personalized. Love the tile in the entry for easier entry cleaning. Diamond plate is well used- and underrated on other builds.

I applaud you 👏!!!! The craftsmanship, creativity, colors, storage, finishes… it’s all perfection! You won’t have to give up anything living in this van!
Now that is an excellent build. Tons of storage. I've never seen that much storage. Plenty of counter space. The slide out table and chairs are real cool. Plenty of lighting. Plenty of water with heated tanks. Winch. Wood accents. They put alot in the rig and everything in a good space. The garage is genius and the electrical bay was neat and clean, looks professional and accessible. With the off road nature of the rig it could use more than 200 AmD. I've never seen a build quite like this one. All of the workmanship was top notch. And it's ready for off grid including suspension. He didn't mention the solar capacity but I saw the panels.I don't know Patrick this might be in the top three. Very nice rig. Good job Patrick 👍👍👍
This is the best build out I've ever seen. It's nice, lots if space not to mention storage space as well. A well live in van life I would love especially when living in Hawai'i, Westside Oahu. Basically all dry living no hook ups needed. This is great.
Why thank you kindly! I certainly believe that we could set you up with the van of your dreams! Thank you for thinking so highly of the work and appreciating it as you do. What does your timeline look like? We’d love to fit you into our schedule

Excellent, beautiful and thought out build. The only thing I would do would cover those rear doors with some kind of panel to get rid of that cargo van look back there.

PATRICK,HI, CODY, HAS DONE A FANTASTIC JOB ON THIS FORD TRANSIT 350,ALL was done with MUCH THOUGHT BEHIND EVERYTHING, I DO NOT THING I HAD SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS, EVEN GARAGE SPACE IS GREAT, STAY WELL, 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Really like this build. First time I've seen the pull out seating. I'm looking for a solution for me so that I don't have to use my wheelchair inside the van. I can stand but not for long as I have just one leg. There's even room for me to haul my power chair in the garage. I would keep the upper shelving just for my 2 cats but add little cutouts so they can spy on me along with mini windows along the top. Since I have company every winter I would need a couch instead of the counter on the one side but love the idea of extended sink with cutting boards...I could use that for dish storage. So many good ideas!
Gorgeous, marvelous 🤗👍👍. Love the cameras as well. A shame some old barns need to come down but the wood certainly looks good in a home. The garage is👍👍😳🤗.
Odd thing to notice, I know, but: the placement of the oven is really well thought out. No lifting out heavy hot dishes from chest height or higher... just seems safer. :) I like the layout, especially since the prep area looks like it could be used as a full time desk to work at.
Love this build!! I love the barn wood you put in there it is actually one of my favorite parts because there are a few and another is the placement of the shower it's not something you see in a lot of builds but it makes so much sense when you see it done and the other is just the warm feel with all of the warm wood tones in the build from the new cedar to new pine and of course the reclaimed barn wood

@@barnswallowtinyhomes2990 having just watched Ray Outfitters recent video addressing safety concerns with a poorly constructed van has raised SAFETY to the top of the list for me. They had to deconstruct the whole build to get it done. It seems to me that your method, especially the access would have prevented all that. ? Is the aluminum railing providing additional support for the bed?
@@lesliehunter1823 it’s completely and easily removable. The aluminum bars do not support the bed. We completely agree that having these as a permanent fixture is a hazard as well as difficult to perform maintenance/alterations
Only thing I would change is to have a small window instead of the mirror by the sink - you might place a narrow mirror on the back of the full length closet door? VERY NICE!! Love the floor, the very neat access to the "utilities" in the back of the van, the size of the frig, and gorgeous mucrowave... All the security cameras! I'm wondering what the power capacity is, to run the frig , heater, etc...? Some vans can have either propane or electric, with solar panels as their flexible source of power... (I'm sure I could not afford it, but some lucky person(s) will def. appreciate and enjoy it during their excursions!) Well done!!!
Thank you and I appreciate your suggestions! I’m loving getting everyone’s feedback for consideration in future builds I’m uncertain of the exact specifics regarding refrigerator power consumption but this lithium bank and solar system have no trouble at all powering it.
I can see that you really put a lot of thought into this build. It's very attractive. If you would permit me just one suggestion it would be rounded corners on that counter near the entry -- to avoid banging into sharp corners when walking through.
This is obviously the result of years of constant improvement / trial and error. I'm that guy that will find a flaw in anything... it's perfect! The large double sink, the pull-out dinette / work station... I could go on and on. The low fresh water capacity concerns me... that's my only gripe, but again... I'm that guy. I still give this build an A+.
Gorgeous! Looks so modern & clean! I would hide the induction cooktop by placing it on a pull-out. That way it is protected from my breaking the glass accidently in the future, only takes space when I am using it (which is approx. 2xs for 20 mins daily) and frees up top area for food prepping.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL & WELL PLANNED! 4X4 is the cherry on top. Only thing I would change - I gotta' have a window at the sink area - I'm guessing you could accommodate that !
@@barnswallowtinyhomes2990 love the build! The cabinets are amazing! Very impressed with the pull out table and seats! Great idea! Questions. Is the transit battery still located under the driver's seat and is it accessible with the shower that close? Big fridge! Is it 12 volt? I may have missed the total amp hours of batteries you have? Does removing the black foam cover over the side door airbags affect their deployment? What about transfer of heat or cold from the bare metal back doors? And I may have missed it but what about heating? Thank you for taking my comments. God bless!
The transit battery is still accessible despite the shower. I accessed it myself when running the light bar wiring! The fridge is a residential 120AC unit Removing the black foam piece should not impede the airbag deployment because the airbag is behind the factory headliner and the interior trim does not attach to the headliner. It only comes close to it like the black foam did. We honored the piece of black foam’s attachment and clearances. Regarding the back doors, we’d recommend magnetic door insulation panels as an aftermarket add on. This van design was made to suit the needs of a weather chasing nomad so heat isn’t something we originally included. I will be installing a Webasto Airtop 2000 gasoline heater however very soon The house battery bank is 2 12v 200ah lithium iron phosphate batteries wired in series to make a 24v 200 ah (same power as 12v 400ah) Great questions and thank you!
@@barnswallowtinyhomes2990 a better question on my part is if the battery can be removed when it needs to be replaced not just accessed? I guess you could remove the seat though.
Great build the only modification I would do is close the window to have monitors, a propane stove and little projector instead of cabinets at the bed area.
Thanks a lot Lisa! We offer custom builds and depending on the chassis, we could certainly build one for less while still making our money on customization!
I can see that lots of efforts went into this van but there are also lots of corners to hit your head on, an unsightly solar panel rack, a cage in the garage and finally that shower door… maybe working with an interior designer would bring the looks and comfort to the level of the technical stuff ?
Thank you for your feedback. This is just the beginning for my company and we look forward to implementing a myriad of design ideas to satisfy multiple palettes. We’re certainly not one trick ponies!

I’m uncertain of the exact specifics regarding refrigerator power consumption but this lithium bank and solar system have no trouble at all powering it.
And although power flexibility is nice to have, we’re in the camp that prefers to leave propane out of our builds
That is one of the best builda I’ve seen!
So happy you found it
That’s what we like to hear!
I can see that you really put a lot of thought into this build. It's very attractive. If you would permit me just one suggestion it would be rounded corners on that counter near the entry -- to avoid banging into sharp corners when walking through.
Thanks for the suggestion
Thank you! We sure did! I think that’s a great suggestion
Thank you very much Mike
Why thank you kindly Mike! This is a wonderful compliment and I appreciate the constructive criticism. We will do better and better with each build!
Beautiful Scandinavian lines in that van
I see it too
Thanks for appreciating that! We love clean lines and playing with the bounds of rustic and modern. We love Scandinavian design principles!
it really does have all the comforts of home
It sure does! Thanks for noticing!
Love it
Very nice build, well thought out. Thanks Patrick, love all your content.
Thank you for the support
Thank you!!!
Gorgeous! Looks so modern & clean! I would hide the induction cooktop by placing it on a pull-out. That way it is protected from my breaking the glass accidently in the future, only takes space when I am using it (which is approx. 2xs for 20 mins daily) and frees up top area for food prepping.
Glad you like it
Thank you! And yeah that’s a cool idea! I dig it
Excellent,job well done👏👏👏thank u for sharing,Cody & Patrick...
Our pleasure!
You’re welcome and thank you!!!
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL & WELL PLANNED! 4X4 is the cherry on top. Only thing I would change - I gotta' have a window at the sink area - I'm guessing you could accommodate that !
Yeah a window could be fitted right above the sink but it’d have to be a small one! Thanks a lot!
Glad you like it Debby. Thank you for the suggestion
The fridge is a residential 120AC unit
Removing the black foam piece should not impede the airbag deployment because the airbag is behind the factory headliner and the interior trim does not attach to the headliner.
I will be installing a Webasto Airtop 2000 gasoline heater however very soon
The house battery bank is 2 12v 200ah lithium iron phosphate batteries wired in series to make a 24v 200 ah (same power as 12v 400ah)
Great questions and thank you!
@@barnswallowtinyhomes2990 a better question on my part is if the battery can be removed when it needs to be replaced not just accessed? I guess you could remove the seat though.
STUNNING BUILD! WELL DONE FRIEND!
Thank you Christian!
Thank you Christian
I love that barn look. Perfectly done. Love the table & chair set up also.
Love some of his ideas
Why thank you kindly 😊
This Is Gorgeous I want it Seriously!
Thank you! Feel free to inquire through the links in the description!
Go for it
Love this! I especially love all the drawers.❤
Definitely has ample storage
Drawers are the best !
Great build the only modification I would do is close the window to have monitors, a propane stove and little projector instead of cabinets at the bed area.
Thanks for the suggestion
Thank you for the insight as to what you’d like to see! I’m always open to suggestions
Gracias por tu bonito video, saludos desde Curazao, feliz día, el caballo es espectacular

I definitely want my van to come with a beautiful horse! 😁Very nice build

Glad you enjoyed the tour
I absolutely love this van!! Just wish I could afford it LOL I want to camper van so bad
Thanks a lot Lisa! We offer custom builds and depending on the chassis, we could certainly build one for less while still making our money on customization!
Thanks for checking it out
Whew! I'm dizzy after that. Lots of good stuff. Hard to digest it all, but nice build!
Glad you enjoyed it
Why thank you Scott!
I think Cody and Heimer should do a collaboration!
Who knows
Collabs are welcome!

Thank you!
Glad you found it
Beautiful build ! Looks great & awesome! 😊 very cozy indeed.
Why thank you Robert! It really is 😊
Very cozy
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures yes 👍
I can see that lots of efforts went into this van but there are also lots of corners to hit your head on, an unsightly solar panel rack, a cage in the garage and finally that shower door… maybe working with an interior designer would bring the looks and comfort to the level of the technical stuff ?
Thank you for your feedback. This is just the beginning for my company and we look forward to implementing a myriad of design ideas to satisfy multiple palettes. We’re certainly not one trick ponies!
Thank you for the feedback for what a con should look like for you
Amazing job. You should be proud
Thanks Ellen
Thank you Ellen! We surely are!
That's amazing. I think this the nicest build I've ever seen on your channel. The quality looks first rate. Definitely not a cheap build. A van like this will be the talk of the campground! So impressed.
My goodness what a wonderful compliment Tom! Thank you so much!
@@barnswallowtinyhomes2990 Just stating the facts.
Glad you found this one Tom
Beautiful!! This is perfect! ❤️
Thank you Judith.
Why thank you kindly Judith!
Genius build.
Thanks Daisy’s Mom
Thank you !
Love it. Might have gone with black switch plate covers. 😊
Next time
Why thank you sir! Next time is right haha. There will be more!
Ha! I just watched this video for the second time and noticed something. At the beginning when they show the horse, they cut right to the inside of the van. It makes it seem like the horse got into the van to look around for a second! 🤣
You would never believe it, it did for a moment
Good eye! They’re curious creatures indeed! 😊
Sweet mama! The dream van
Yes 🙌🏼
Thanks a lot! We’re biased but totally agree!
