I asked him, about a Promaster price. And he said if used should be less than 35k, I think. Then he said that expect to spend 250k for one of his builds but not sure if that included the van. Too much for me!

I Love @humbleroad ! :) His designs are so well thought out and I love how he designs everything so you can access the behind the scenes stuff when you need to. I'm an Engineer and just love how his mind works with his designs.
Doing a cardboard build out first and having the client make changes after seeing the cardboard build out is First Class.
I stole his idea and built cardboard mockups for our van. Now, five years later we still love our layout and have not had to change a thing. Thanks a LOT George!!!

I live in Singapore and doubt there’ll ever be an opportunity for me to own a vehicle with such a person-centred, considerate, honest, intelligent and good quality design/build. But in a parallel world, if I ever want to embark on van-life, only George and Humble Road will do. Nobody else.

Brilliant unique design solution to the shower, tables, jump seat. Wood is gorgeous! Lovely touches (rosettes, lighthouses, and the wood support under the compartment over the fridge.👍👍👍

George, I think this is your best build yet. It's loaded with almost every feature imaginable, but without sacrificing storage capacity. This would definitely be a great van for a full timer. I love the maxi-me idea and I'd also love to see a non-extended Transit build for single traveler, perhaps the major-me?

LOOOOOOVE the Dutch door shower. Been thinking about that for years. Having a shower closes in the space, but everyone wants/needs one. IF you make the upper 1/2 aesthetic .... and the upper Dutch could fold into 2 or 3 pieces... or you just get rid of it all together .... and you put a rain RV window that pushes out on the back wall and/or a skylight in the roof for ventillation - put the MAX Air fan outside the shower to vent kitchen and create a cross breeze ... AND a hook that could hold a great big beautiful fern plant - all of a sudden it becomes an aesthetic center peice. You can water the fern right where it hangs!! Could be SO cool!

I'm from South Africa .We can only look at 4X4 camper vans, but your sensible build inside is a real winner .Ford Transit & Mercedes Sprinters are built in our country. We use european power 220/240 volts . Prefer the european toilet with a sealed door outside. A rap-around awning @270 degrees, covering rear door. Your pull out drawer slider is very good. Perhaps another one fitted onto garage floor for easy access to gear, and provision for a small Weber gas BarB que.

Two of my recent guests on the channel are now working with George
George you are amazing. I live in Maui Hawaii and been on the road living on the road from 2015 in my little ford focus and bought in 2016 a Ford transit 5 door van lived in it till May 2019 and upgraded to a transit connect 150 low commercial van with no windows. Build it myself at a home depot parking lot. Queen bed at the back end and kitchen and living space up front area, dropped a bar sink in and use a drop in tank pump usb charge. Now I want to lower my bed so I'm able to sit on it.
My under bed area was used for storage and work. Now I'm retired and want to change it up. Just sharing lol. Wish I was in New Jersey to meet you.❤

I'm starting a 10 year savings plan where afterwards I'll be able to purchase a similar type conversion van (only with upgrades that'll be invented 10 years in the future). I'm hoping that by then the lithium batteries will have more capacity...as well as way more electric charging stations across America. I plan on taking my time traveling across America as well as play poker when I come across a card room/casino. Conversion Vans like this make it easy to save on hotel rooms!

exceptional build! The only think I would change is to make the outdoor outlet casing key lockable so noone can steal your power if you're away from your van for an extended period of time, like, on a days hike

George, have you ever done a rear dinette/couch with a drop down bed? The dual functionality and use of space is phenomenal. If not, would you consider it?

George, I am wondering if there is a way to place in a slide out porch/platform in a class b or b+?
@@barbarafarrington7146 - Interesting! I like that thought! I assume that your thinking of a toy hauler back drop deck on the side or back, to give outdoor space to use inside. Edit: A plain class B would require a lot of frame work to make that happen, but a c? That could be done ✅! Edit 2: Just searched for and found a few class C’s and Super C’s with toy hauler capabilities, it is doable!

Damn, every time I think I’m gonna challenge George on something, he has me beat. During the tour of the bathroom, I was thinking to myself, “Yeah but, are those mirrors going to be distorted?” Because most mirrors are crap these days, especially acrylic. Sure enough, he is several steps ahead. Btw, I’m not a builder (maybe a wannabe builder?), but this is what the buyer in me would be critiquing. It’s the little things, too.

Phenomenal van build. Love the little jump seat in the dinning rm area, bathroom split door, outdoor table and headliner much better then the heavy weight of wood on the ceiling.

Oh my days! I'm currently converting a VW Crafter in the UK but, I wish my wife had not seen this van as I am never going to meet the standards set by George. He is a genius and the aesthetics of this build blows my mind. We are due too collect our shower and kitchen units from the manufacturer later this month and I now feel even more inspired to press on with our build. Great vlog guys.
