@sri gorakhnath well, that's not entirely true. Some cops do, yes, they have a gender bias/old mentality. But in this case, lie or not, 2 witnesses vs 1 drunk guy and some evidence of bruising/scratches. That kind of speaks for itself in legal terms. Could they be lying? Maybe. That's what court is for. That's where he can have witnesses/lawyer to show that they've lied before or a character witness or whatever. For now he does look guilty and you can't leave a drunk man with a possible domestic violence victim. Period.

@@DrGeeves A witness and bruises on her arm. That was enough to get him arrested. Domestic violence cases usually always escalate over time. Any man who puts his hands on a women to harm or frighten her is capable of doing more. I've seen it hundreds of times working in a battered women's shelter.

So the guy scratched his girlfriend, grabbed her by the arms, started throwing stuff around the house and threw the baseball bat out of his window because she grabbed it away from him since he started attacking her, threatened and attacked his dauthers too. Then when the cops come to talk to him, he asks them to take him to jail and challenges to fight them. Then when the officers take him down, he starts resisting arrest. Seems like the cops handled the situation the best they could given the circumstances, and they didn't even cuss at him during the takedown despite him being a jerk. And now he wants to sue the officers and claim police brutality when the officers couldn't have done a better job at apprehending him? Disgusting behavior from the criminal!
