Scott Sector 7 Weight Unboxing and Why I Chose The 7 Weight

In this video we unbox my brand spanking new Scott Sector Fly Rod. This is a 7 weight Scott Sector and I compare it to the Scott Meridian 8 Weight that I already own. I also provide a little background as to why I chose the 7 weight as the next fly rod in my arsenal.

They are un-sanded rods. Most rod makers sand out the ridges. Scott makes a really nice product 👍

What do you think of the Sector after fishing it vs the meridian?

Well, I definitely prefer the Sector. This could be because I really like the feel of a 7 weight more so than an 8. If I had them both in 7 or 8 I still think I’d much prefer the Sector though. It’s a smooth rod. Thanks for the question!

Have the same rod, #7 sectot. Absolut beast of a rod, best rod I ever cast. You have to try it with the Rio outbound short intouch, go up to wf 8, thank me later! Enjoy
