But you Ma'am have inspired me so much too continue on with the pull that the AT has on my spirit . I would love to connect some day . Just know what your doing is making a difference . Happy trails .
Omg I love your name so so much! I would love to video chat with you. Email me at rejoicewithtruth@gmail.com so I can give you my phone number. I’ll be cheering you on. I hope you vlog
Nobody ever talked about the Wildcats. So crazy right! I perfected the art of butt sliding in the Whites and Southern Maine and had the split shorts as proof. You are so tough! I could not hike in pain like you have. I laughed so hard at your comment "I am never doing these mts. again!" That's how I felt. Routing you on!!!
Glad to see you continue to push on. From here, after the climb to Carter Dome, things get easier at least for a while (but you already know that). It's been a while since I did the Wildcat climb from Rt 16 and yes it is "interesting" or "indescribable". Keep pushing but not too hard. And thank you (and Eddie) for sharing.
Renee you are a very strong women to keep pushing ahead! 💪 and your still smiling! Please rest when you can and take one step at a time! 😊 Be careful and take a zero soon just to hang out and sleep! ❤
You keep powering ahead even in pain, not easy I’m sure. You are so determined, that mental grit is where the real strength is. Only you know what your body can handle as you push your limits. You are strong and smart when it comes to your ability.
Please take care of yourself! Hopefully you have something to rub into your painful areas. Arnica is a good one to use. You're keeping a good attitude dealing with your injuries👍 Happy Trails Sending you lots of healing energy.
Hiking Viking ! You go girl! 😊 I would like to hike in Norway 🇳🇴! One of their past times. 😊 stop you’ll get out again. We’ll see it’s in your blood now! 😊
That 1st climb up the wildcat was insane! Someone asked me at the top if I would do it again and I answered no so fast! Haha loved everything else (except Garfield I think it was?) The last mt on the ridge with mt washington. Glad you didn't go home! Keep fighting!
@richmoore4685 Yes! You are correct lol. Man that was crazy. One of the people I was hiking with fell when she got to the top and luckily landed on her backpack! Man I thought we were about to spend hrs up there waiting for a rescue as I ran to her, but just shook up and minor cuts and bruises.

Looks beautiful but tough. Your voice sounds worn out and yet Maine and the 100 miles of wilderness trail is yet to come. Keep it up.
You are AWESOME
Be well 💙
