Hopefully they'll just skip over the "not coming to visit in the 2200s" thing and just say that she got caught up and presumably died in the Time War. When she returns they only mention the last bit, so that Big Finish stays canon

I heard carol ann Ford wouldn't play the character except on audio if that's true then they should leave the character Susan alone when it comes to the actual show they should never recast her. I know the character is a Time Lord which means she can change but Carol ann Ford is the one and only Susan

Apparently her post-Doctor Who career was a bit rough due to typecasting. So I get Ford wanting to appear in live-action, even with Doctor Who's now-mainstream popularity.
