I think the tint checkpoint idea could work but the issue wouldn't be blindness it would be the random and fast colour changes to the screen since it might cause an epileptic seizure
@@BeaDSM 0.5 would probably be WAY too low, and still have potential to trigger epilepsy strokes I would imagine(Not that I am an expert, nor suffer from epilepsy myself), would have to be more something like 5 seconds probably to be safe
Considering that Yannic already talked about "not being able to force 1st Person" is because of accessibility... any features regarding sound and "camera tint" would also need to be "optional" (as in, a person can fully deactivate it) because of accessibility reasons...
Maki is just unreal, dang. Love the track, so much background detail! Edit: Heck, both of you are ridiculously skilled. On the edge of my seat watching this time jockeying.
Honestly a having some sections in darkness or with a dark tint would be unironically lit. I'm not sure it would be particularly abusable in practice since people can just choose not to play tracks that abuse it?
Funny you'd mention a logic visible/invisible track. I made one. It's a maze. You can take the full, visible maze, but miss a checkpoint, or you can get the checkpoint, but be forced to do the whole maze with invisible kill-zone walls. It was designed to force crowdsourcing to finish, but it's absolutely atrocious, not to mention impossible in single player.
Yonnic needs to add an anti-Maki checkpoint that does literally nothing besides add 5 seconds to justmaki's time specifically and nobody else's once he drives through it that way you can place one of those to give other people a chance and I bet he'd still win half of the time with a mechanic specifically against him 😂
Could be done by steamid and having the trigger call for true on that steamid. It's very mean though. Would also be amazing for Dapper. He could make it so a checkpoint only opens for his steamid and have it right in front of the start forcing everyone to go around his checkpoint.
Really love the floaty feel of the underwater track. Speaking of tint checkpoint, rather than hue, I wonder if there would be a slider for saturation and brightness. Could be popular around halloween. And, speaking of disappearing tracks, what about disappearing checkpoints? Have a tiny, invisible ball of checkpoint that only covers a small section of the road and mark the whole section under an arch. That way if you pass the arch and didn't get the checkpoint, you'll know immediately.
Very cool. Best track I've seen from you so far. (I wish i had a computer to play your Zeepkist tracks. I've got a track idea. City destruction. Logic blocks that trigger dynamic objects to block the main pathway and drive through buildings and a "steam" vent and a paraglider block. The point is to get out of the city via helicopter, with the goal inside the chopper.
yeah tint should be like a slider from 0 to 20% assuming it has a slider or something like having 5, 10, 15, and 20% versions and if you can't choose the color from a slider of something i guess red, green, blue, yellow, black, white and pink would be a decent set of colors...... also the driving "blind" thing just sounds like something better suited for like a "evolution map" where you gradually get darker and darker version before everything is just pitch black....
For Kan. You could make a track out of invisible blocks. Make an identical track out of logic blocks that disappear once you had a chance to get a look at the track.
The only issue with that is that you can make the 'invisible' blocks appear by grinding against them. In some contexts, that's fine, but depending on the application, that exploit would mess it up.
I would love to get into track building, but the editor seems to be missing so much functionality. I can't even figure out how to delete a project without doing it manually through file explorer. And how do you import a track that you want to make changes to? I've done it before. I have a Vorbleed track in my editor from like 2 years ago, but I can't figure out how I did it. Placing blocks is easy, but the file management system seems like the final boss. Maybe you could do a tutorial on that? 🥰
Honestly I would recommend using Blueprints X, which you can find a brief tutorial on my how to mods video. File management does seem to be lacking, and I use the file explorer for my personal management.
hmm why not test people's sanity with a Death Wall Escape? Basically a map where you have to outrun a logic driven wall of death blocks or something to that effect. :)
@@decafedninja Exactly this. I heard him say it, thought about it, realised he was right, and knew some dumbass would try to correct him for it anyway lol.
It was me that left the comment for the underwater track :D This is beautiful!!!
Cool track. Just wish you had shown the AFK trash can route once.
the same with twoface, if you make an afk: please show it at least once
Duely noted, on my 2nd track i did the afk, idk why i didn't do it on this track

Yeah, it is one of those things, that when used responsibly, it could be amazing, but used wrong, could be straight up hurtfull to some people
Ya could just have the feature be a tint fade in and no instant colour change
I was thinking tinting just once, like a sepia overlay to avoid the epilepsy issue
Could just have a 0.5 second minimum time between tint changes or something.

I agree fully with this comment, it might be challenging, especially with risk of photosensitivity

Sounds like a pretty fun track idea, even if it's a bit frustrating 😂

A logic switch based on steamID. Even numbers can only go in doorway 1, and odd numbers gotta pick door 2. Removes crowdsourcing.

Would love to see an underwater track with underwater physics. Feather blocks and a weak global slowster could also help with the floaty feeling.

It took me too long to figure out that sand barrel roll, but I'm glad I made it to the leaderboard. I really liked this track!

Vorbleed is a track made by the devs that they kept in the Editor either as an example / starting point or they forgot to remove it and didn't bother.
Oh, that's how it got there. That's good to know. I thought I was just dumb and forgot.
