Why do I love those hats so much??? Also, the reverse and slowmo could be used in so many cool ways. Thanks for sharing all this and great work on the vid! Cheers!
Nice overview! This is my favourite PO. Good to mention, the sounds are arranged in 4 vertical groups. With the ability to only play one sound per group at the time.
Everything is auto quantized, yes ! If you have any other PO questions though - hit up my Discord community - here's an invite link: discord.gg/xj8J2xJuBP
I actually just ordered this and I forgot to take into account that it’s pretty old and software based and I have a Mac which just switched to 64 bit chips . I’m wondering if they are going to keep updating the microtonic software and if it’s worth it to pay for it also or just go with a couple of the free audio streams that are on you tube…
@@LiamKillen I mean worst case scenario it’s still a killer machine and you can get tons of free patches on you tube and SoundCloud etc…the microtonic software is pretty cool looking though I have the demo . The sounds are great. I can’t get logic to see it though, that’s probably cuz it’s a demo
I've watched several videos of various pocket operators. They usually all sound antiquated and super cheesey. However this actually sound dope Seems like it has better sounds than the Volca beats. I may actually buy this ugly piece of gear ⚙
@@LiamKillen It's not samples, the sounds on PO-32 are synthesized, not sampled. You can use Microtonic desktop app to upload a new set of sounds but these are the same in a sense that they are synthesized sounds created by the PO-32 synth engine (so technically speaking you are loading Microtonic synth settings). That's the main difference between PO-32 and PO-33 which is samples based and does not have a synth engine.

Yeah! Thanks fo let including that
Does that mean we can’t layer a kick and a snare?
You can layer the kick and snare. They are in a different vertical group.

Ok thanks Liam 🙂
Extending the pattern is “pattern+write+ (what #?)” couldn’t make it out. Thanks for the awesome content
It can be any number. I was basically copying patterns over from one bar to the next and then creating a sequence after that.

@@LiamKillen thanks a lot, awesome 😉

16th effect is usually "none" to undo all the recorded effects. there no such thing here, right?
Yes exactly!
wait all these sounds come in this shit?
yeah lol
PO-32 does not use samples.
It does not although there's this app where I believe you can switch samples out? I'm not sure I haven't really looked into it.
