@@dairyfarmmidwest1615 STOP judging his father Mark. I agree with Chris and his mindset. There is another side to this story (as with all stories). I won't get into it b/c it is not my story to tell. Focus on Chris and him going forward. With this latest video, you can already see the stress in Chris has diminished, and I'm not talking about all he had to endure to finally call this new property his own. Farming is not stress-free, however when one does it in their own way AND on their own terms, it is a stress that is manageable and oftentimes rewarding.

My father farmed back 40's till 70's. Had a truck run with milk cans, ours and the neighbors. He always kidded about drive all day, fix all night. Use to haul up to two hundred cans, haul sawdust and round bales [AC rotobales]. Never new trucks. I was young and handled cans and bales, but never got to drive the big truck before they got rid of it. Loved riding. Cab over fords GMC and last one was early 60's Ford with 18 ft flatrack. So glad to see your bright future!

Yeah... most guys love the straight pipes. They sound good but reality starts setting in after a few hours of running a straight pipe. Me.... If its one a piece of equipment I am going to running for hours at a time, give me a muffler.

Looks like an awesome spot! I like how open the yard is, it gives you some room for equipment growth. Start searching for a used grain bin to slide in there and it will help you out a lot! GSI, Souix, Sukup & Westeel would be preferable. Conrad's tend to be a bit on the lighter side & Lindsay's are not a bin to move.. if you see one, leave it where it is. Hopefully you can get the paperwork done ASAP!

Should have just cut the muffler off and put a piece of flex pipe in to replace the muffler that would have got it up above the cab instead of resonating under the cab. Maybe straight pipe it but raise the stack 3-4’ above the cab. Lower egt’s little more power better fuel economy. The trifecta of wins not to mention the beautiful sound
