Why, if I’m trying to direct water from my foundation, would I drill a hole in my catch basin. Not only that, but the adapters leak severely unless you spend some time really siliconing. This cannot be the best design….
The catch basin FAQ's at the NDS webstite mentions the knockout in the bottom of the box, but nowhere can I find any information on the best way to cut out the knockout. Any ideas on this?
Hello! To cut out the knockout you can use a utility blade, or drill a small hole and use a jig saw to cut the remainder. Using a multi-tooth blade works the best when using a jig saw. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Yes, now I see. Not really a knock out. More like spend 15 minutes sawing the connection apart and getting connection fitting that will match. Buyer advisory!!
