    That X20 with the Koa veneer that is going to Arizona USA is mine! So excited to see my guitar on the shipping video as well as in the picture that was emailed to me! I am so much looking forward to being able to have this guitar in this incredibly dry and hot climate. I have been playing a 20+ year old Ovation, and because I did not care for it properly with adequate case hydration in the various dry spots where I have lived, it’s neck is really out of whack, causing a very stiff action. So it has been actually painful to my fingers to play, no matter how I work on getting those callouses. Our Church does services throughout the week for local nursing home/assisted living/memory care facilities, and I help by playing guitar when I am able. Just the carrying my guitar from parking lot into the facilities causes issues in tuning with my Ovation. I have no intention of leaving my Emerald in the car on hot days, but so much look forward to being able to sling the gig bag onto my back and be able to carry my music stand and music in my hands comfortably, and not have a heat altered guitar when I get into the facility. In this area, single digit humidity percentages and 115-120 degree F temps are not uncommon between May and October. With single digit percentages of humidity off an on for a good percentage of the year. I look forward to being able to recommend the Emerald Guitars to anyone in this area after I have used mine for a bit. I see that mine just cleared Heathrow hub yesterday, so maybe just a week or so more.

    Davy/Dan… what kind of a sound do you get with a HyVibe on a 12-string, and you choose the “12-string” effect?

    • @emeraldguitars
      @emeraldguitars  24 дня назад

      Might sound like a 24 string! 😁 Honestly that's a question we havn't had before, we'll do a demo and let you know! 😎

    This is Paul Reed Smith here...WHERE IS THE WOOD? HOW CAN A GUITAR SOUND GOOD WITHOUT WOOD?...😁I am kidding of course - I have heard your guitars countless times and they are as beautiful sounding as they are to look at.

    Forgive a dumb question: I assume the neck is all carbon-fiber, like the body... so are frets replaceable like a 'regular' wood-necked guitar?

    • @esimms1889
      @esimms1889 27 дней назад +1

      The stainless steel frets will outlive you.

    • @emeraldguitars
      @emeraldguitars  24 дня назад

      The stainless steel frets should last you for many many years to come but in the event that you might need to replace any an experienced luthier will be able to do so.

    great video great to see the guitars being sold to locals . its funny i saw a realy old video years ago maybe 9 and the video of stevie vie etc. the thing about it being a famaly thing is great as there guitars are one ofs no two are realy the same. there is a lot of resistance to baying these guitars by the traditional esp the FOLK people i was talking to a freand and he sade o but i only like woden guitars mmm thing is if you go into a club pup and see the guitar cases lined up i can usualy tell the makes before the cases are opend the usual suspects martins flyeds taylor lowdans. nice guitars as for me i have never played a martan guitar that i liked i liked the sound. so whats my pont. its this the old folk boy with his martin leven etc is he into guitars NO. so what is it acustic music yes. so hears my qestion to them the two biggest selling acustic albums EVER had sinthetic guitars in them FACT. i remember glen cambell walking onto the grand old opry with a ovation guitar. paco dident say to Al Di miola you cant play that guitar. mickeal hedges Arial boundres used a ovation. its just resistance and snobary i think if maybel garter was to play a Emarald guitar she wid love it time to take the chance go try one bye one it wont worpe brake it will stay in tune wither you are in yellowknife or bengazi love your guitars good luck with the company jf

      Thanks for the comment John, it's great to have people come in and collect their guitars in person. Robert actually came in to pick the veneer for his guitar at the start of his journey along with trying the different models and figuring out the specs on his custom X30. We're always trying to spread the word and get our instruments into the hands of more players who as you know have a preconceived idea of carbon fiber instruments that are usually bowled over when they get one in their hands. The ambassador program is one way that we've been doing so, you can check it out here: emeraldguitars.com/ambassador-program/
