There he is! Haha I hope all goes well Steven 🤟🏼 I went back but apparently it’s most of the time only busy in the weekend :) I’d love to go again on a Saturday night 🤩🎸
@@Chai_Travel ha ha never far away BUT been slack lately watching the Euros and only so many hours in a day!! Disappointed for your lads but I did originate from England so had to cheer them on! Spain will win the final though as I had always predicted. 🤩
@stevens8785 hahaha no worries man. I didn’t think we would have have a chance in the first place :p I don’t mind England to win the final 😃 than we lost from the world champs 😆 take it easy
Regarding bad weather in December, January, February, the temperature is about 18 - 20 degrees with frequent rain, rough seas, and strong winds. It feels cold because there's no sun, but that's also surfing. In particular, there may be a big storm coming from the Philippine Sea, but there may also not be a storm, this depends on nature!
When I'm on holiday in south east Asia my favourite place in the world you don't have care in the world and you don't give a fuck about the fake news back home it's such a happy vibe and all the fresh food and sun and relaxation is excellent for your body.
love danang , recently spent 2 months Da Nang and Phu Loc lucky i have my best friends family in both although we ate and stayed along the beach area they took me to the family sidewalk eateries and the food and vibe is amazing , that was my 4th time in 2 years i be going back next year again. the city has 3 different vibes,,, the tourist beach area, the city riverbank area, and further north the residential area , day trip to Hoi An. although there are hundreds of hotels its not over run by tourists, from one end to the other end of the beach takes a leisurely hour . the best hotel i stayed at for a great price on the beachfront is the Nguyen Gia hotel on the northern end of the beach. ps been to Chaing Mai twice both cities awesome but totally different and these are my favourites.
Thanks mate! And welcome on board 😃 that’s nice to hear. Haha yes it is indeed Dutch and it is also raining here in Chiang Mai at the moment 😉 hope all is well
Glad to see you in Da Nang, I've been thinking about trying that out as a place to move too. What do you think of Da Nang vs. Chiang Mai (which you know is my favorite)? I really liked ho Chi minh and hanoi when I was there, but haven't been to Da Nang.
Yo Will! Man it’s a difficult one. I start seeing how amazing Da Nang is 😅 it has the beach, the mountains, and I really like the Vietnam people. But, Chiang Mai has some indescribable vibes, feels more home for me, and I really love the Thai food. At the moment I’d lean more to Chiang Mai but I hope to spend more time in Da Nang in the future. Haha sorry not a clear answer 🤭 you need to come over to give it a shot. Cheers 🏆
Haha yeah that’s it brother. Choosing between Chiang Mai or Da Nang would be for me something like choosing between Coffee or fried chicken 😝 they different but so good I wouldn’t like to choose. Have a good night
Why not enjoy best of both worlds? 6 months in Thailand & 6 months in Vietnam! Don't need to decide which is best...It's like having a wife & a mistress...enjoy both! :)
Random question from a random new subscriber: are you in Da Nang from Wednesday onwards, and if so, do you fancy a beer with an Aussie/Englishman who spends most of his time in the same places as you, in SE Asia?
Hello. What is the name of the beach you walk to from An Thuong? Also, what are some hotels that is walking distance to An Thuong area? I will be there in Mid Oct but have not book my hotel. Cant decide which area to stay. I looking to stay where I can walk to restaurants, bars, and nightlife. Thanks
It’s called Bai Bien or Non Nuoc Beach. And I advice to look on Agoda or Booking.com somewhere between an thượng 1 to 10. You’ll be close enough to the beach and close to bars and restaurants
Enjoyed the vid…just one request that if u could possibly hold the camera shot on the places u check out so as i can further research those places when i retuern ( typically i can freeze frame & sus the place out on Goggle maps) Cheers
Thanks! I’ll see what I can do in the future. Normally I also put a link of Google maps in the description so that maybe helpful to you 😊 have a great Sunday
I found the traffic very light in comparison to Saigon tbh ,Da nang was a relief for me 😂and they absolutely love there dogs now, you see them riding on there motorcycles 🏍️ they must have great balance as I know when I get on a grab bike I’m bricking myself lol 😂
Da Nang is a big city on a river, but it has a long beach and mountains. You can skydive on top of the mountain you went to with your girlfriend last time then hover over the white Buddha head statue and finally land on the beach
@@Chai_Travel If you are a fan of chiang mai then you must go to Da Lat city, it is located at an altitude of 1500m with the most beautiful cafes in Vietnam. I would love for you to compare it with Chiang mai
my friend and i are going to da nang next month. It’s actually first time to go there, so i don’t know around that place. could you give me some recommendations for night clubs, bars or something?
You’ll love it! I’m sorry for clubbing and night life I’m not the best person to ask tbh there is a nice chill vibe with a DJ at Maia. It’s hard not to like this one. For clubbing I’d recommend For You Club on the other side of the river (there will be a few clubs) and you’ll have fun meeting and partying with locals.
Aw haha. Yeah Da Nang is pretty good when it comes to food safety. Some street food maybe hard on the stomach but I wouldn’t stay away from it as it’s delicious too 🤭 thanks for watching and have the best time 😃
I think you should try to go more specifically to expand your content in DaNang. Kind of experiences about accomadation, restaurant, bar, spa or other services. That could helps viewers who want to come there to know more about Da Nang, help others to having more good experiences out there. Or something is locally or traditional, culture, i think some people who interest in culture or something like that. I know you did great in interview but to grow more you could try something different.
It’s hot but very nice. Sunny and there is most of the time a breeze. I think it’s perfect beach weather to be honest. If you look at the forecast it’s raining a few house a day but this is not the case :) yesterday we had maybe an hour of rain but that was it for the last week
Anyone know the time of year in Da Nang that has the most sunshine? from what I've seen seems to be a bit cloudy and a fair amount of rain often throughout the year when looking around but maybe I'm mistaken?
I envy you so much that you live there, hopefully I will soon. 😊 I am currently working on my portfolio to hopefully find a remote job as a UX/UI designer soon. I wish you all the best and I look forward to your next street interviews. 🙏😁
can you ask do western musicians need work permit?..... in Thailand you cannot play without it 😒too dangerous.... (i´m a musician and looking for place wher to play) 😁
Loved our stay in Da Nang! Really miss the energy of the city and the calmness of the water
What a wonderful exploration in Da Nang.
Thanks mate! Thanks for watching again

Hi Veronica 🥰 I think so too. You’d love it. You are awesome for saying that! 🤟🏼
I will go there in beginning of September, I hope the rain season isn’t that bad at this time
I hope so too. Expect a few rainy days and you'll have a great time regardless
Nice video! Da Nang is really nice location. I enjoyed as well vlogging in Da Nang.
It's great ;)
I like all your videos, they are very helpful for tourists.
Thank you 😊
Thanks for the video. I will be flying into da nang in 2 weeks. Definitely will check some of the spots you mentioned
Glad it was helpful! 😊

Lovely mate! You’re loving it haha. I love the diversity of Da Nang. I think you described it well :)
I was laughing to myself when you said the road crossing is just art haha.
The rainy season is the best time to go.. less tourists, cooler temperatures, and prices are lower.
Just found your channel today its great! Love your presenting style v.chilled. Is that a dutch accent you have? Watching in rainy in England.
Thanks mate! And welcome on board 😃 that’s nice to hear. Haha yes it is indeed Dutch and it is also raining here in Chiang Mai at the moment 😉 hope all is well
Thank you for the DN adventure. Sincere apologies England thrashed Netherlands in Euro Football last night. The Penalty will be the discussion point.
Can't call it a thrashing at 2-1 but the last minute goal is a hard way to lose
Man, haha maybe not trashed but we end up loosing 🥲 thanks! I was kinda expecting a 3-1 against the Netherlands so we did okay I guess 😋 cheers!
Danang is so lively and affordable as a beach town. Presumably it will entice more digital nomads to relocate to in the future.

Hi there, im planning on coming to denang next month but heard there are Internet issues. Hows the speed these days, back to normal yet?
I haven't heard of any cuts. Internet has been great all the time I've spent here :)
internet của Việt Nam nói chung và Đà Nẵng thuộc top đầu của châu á và giá cũng rẻ nhất châu á cũng như thế giới
The Internet is the least thing to worry about when u come to VN. Theres free wifi anywhere you go. The speed is great
This might be a silly question but can you Amazon delivery 📦 in Vietnam?
That’s not a silly one at all. Unfortunately I don’t have a straight answer. It look like they don’t from what I read online 🤷♂️
