I take such videos with a grain of salt. Too many vloggers started talking about Da Nang. Hope this place does not turn into a new Bali or Phuket with all of its influencers, onlyfans models and toxic people who disrespect the local culture. I pray for it that the Vietnamese don't sell their soul to build more beach clubs, fancy clubs and vegan cafes. But there is already a lot of construction going on atm. Keep the charme of Da Nang!

It is a nice place but there is something that was never mentioned in this video and this is insane, so I am going to spill the beans: the weather in Vietnam in the summer is absolutely horrible. It was so hot and humid that I was never able to leave my air-conditionned hotel room before dusk and when I did the temperature will still over 30C (high 80's). No matter what other considerations come into play, this will be a dealbreaker for many people like myself who hate extremely hot climates.

@@Chai_Travel Hi thanks for asking. Yes I am Vietnamese. The men who don’t wear clothes tend to be old men or kind of local gangs, road workers, farmers. And I am sure their home is very close by. It means they would not unclothed at places far from their streets. They are normally ignored and somewhat accepted because of their social status. Other ordinary people would wear clothes as you can see. Even Vietnamese tourists would wear clothes at places other than beaches. Not wearing clothes in public is not a good manner anyway. I know in places like Bali, it is normal that foreign tourists ride motorbikes, walk along the streets without clothes. Vietnam would not accept that.

i just went there to check it out as a retirement possibility. No a hope in hell. Its absolutely awful. Traffic chaos, horn beeping the whole time, infested with huge numbers of tourists, corrupt police officers fining tourists for nothing, and putting money in pocket.
