You came to VN in summertime and the dry season so why it's hot and dry . Depending on the period of the year the weather is not the same in different regions of VN . Like now it's humid and rainy in the South and the North and hot and dry the Center ( Danang is actually in the Center ) . But wait until September to November it will be rainy , stormy ( with flooding ) in the Center but nice and cool in the North . And between December and March it will be cold in the North and even snowy in some Northern provinces like Lai Cai (Sapa) , Ha Giang , Lang Son ( Mâu Son ) and not too hot and humid in the South and nice in the Center . So the best time to visit South and Central VN is from December to March , and the North between mid-September and mid-March .

Hey, @happyferguson4956! Generally, it's recommended to drink bottled or filtered water in Vietnam to be safe. Tap water isn't always potable, so better to err on the side of caution. Hi J&S, this is a p.s. to my first comment.i watched your vision again, and as always we see more second time around.i liked you opening on the traffic issue, the basics of crossing the street, without being too scared, eheh.the little flash in the scene showing the dong and us,dollars of the prices is good insert,we get the info at the right time.also the massage giving us the name address and full price including extras.this is really important to those of us wanting to visit,so we feel more confident about what we should be paying at least the ballpark figure,of all experiences from services, meals motor bikes, pizzas, etc, everything where we have to pay,in the back of our minds is the question anywhere new,am i paying the right price ,am i being ripped,is this price for everyone,i for one dont want to haggle to the last cent, but i want to know that its fair.of course prices vary on everything everywhere all over the world, but the more we know roughly the more comfortable we feel.for eg.the bike lady, you filmed, jay you mentioned she does a number if thing as well as motor bike hire at a prices shown, you mentioned she does or knows homestay, another good clue to accomodation at the right price.ive used homestays in many places, great option.also the filming of the bike in the traffic, real time action experience, the little baby was a hoot like you said sara, they mind their business and get it done.little things mean a lot,so good job of wising us up to the things we need to know, after all you guys are in effect tour leaders for those of us that might be wanting to come and visit.thank you just wanted to give you the xtra feed back..sara,love your hat, cool but sensible with style.jay bit worried about you not having a panama or something, like you said, its HOT.thanks again from aussie ,respect.😎
