cool details on the ghost, its one of my favorites. Its definitely one of my go to escapes. I tell the newer guys, you need a ghost escape, a Marcelo style straight arm escape, and a classic bridge and reguard escape in your arsenal to be able to reliably escape side mount. The Marcelo straight arm is extremely strong as well, especially against kesa getame type side mount variations.
@@jedsanford5065 yes once once your are Good with classical side Mount escapes people which switch to modified scarf hold control. The you need the straight arm stuff.
Kipping movement is a nice addition to the ghost escape 👍
damn, ayrshire grappler still around!
Yes, I find some partners are a bit perplexed by ghost escape, but after they learn and anticipate it the kipping should come in handy
cool detail with shoulder, never taught about this, first time I notice in instructional video.
Came from the reddit post... definitely going to try this out. I think "kipping" movements are really this weird jiu jitsu, frontier area that needs to be explored more from all positions.
@@BlackBeltScrub Kipping especially for the Mount Escape isn’t easy but it is worth to learn because it is really a powerful or better deceptive movement.
Thanks.
if he still hold your head you can just go in your feet and make a circle you gonna sweep him and end in side control on the other side
rickson black belt told showed me that 😂nice video by the way
@@elmundir if I really can’t escape I use this one:

@@EffortlessJiuJitsu M'y man ! what a great addition for sure I will try it
and I already love it since I already use a torreando defense pass very similar to this ( you just roll )
excited to test this
If someone did the unstoppable escape on me i'd simply stop it
@@ItsPandatory the Most reliable counter is to prevent the escape by not going to underhook and crossface. There are other ways, but they are not as good as the prevention.
Door stop, move your under hook to the near side hip and move your cross face to the other side of his head. If he ghosts, just take North South
@@jamesallenyz431 North South is always a good option but if you already have underhook crossface (maqybe after you have passed the guard) it is hard to switch fast enough. I will make a video about something you can do other than north south which works relatively good.
Excellent details! Next time leave the kid out of it as it is too distracting.
If its so effortless why do you do steroids?
