You're so much fun. I find it hilarious that when you mentioned how you were a self taught English speaker I was like: "wow, her pronunciation is so clean!" And I then immediately remembered that I am also a self taught English speaker and I ended up becoming a translator 😂 i guess it's less impressive when we do it lol

thank you for being so honest about when you listen and understand when people speak german, but not understanding the point because im experiencing the same thing now and that's so frustrating! felt good to hear that i'm not the only one.
also about re-reading the books in your target language is a game changer. there are also books called "bilingual books" and they offer you two languages at the same time. i found the wizard of oz in german and english together. that way, i didn't lose time and got distracted when i didn't understand a word, because it was taking 2 seconds to find the same sentence in english and getting the meaning of the word in context. i don't know where you can find them exactly since i found it on a second-hand platform, but there are some websites on the internet if you're interested to have them in pdf or other formats.

I might not be the only one but even though im not fluent in my target language i can speak understand and read but what i suffer the most is the accent. I know listening and repeating help improve in that area, i watch tv shows in my target language and i feel like the moment i start speaking in my native language my accent disappear and it's frustrating

English for me was also sort of just summoned in my brain. I used to play Minecraft in a Canadian server and used to translate everything and try to use the words after. I almost failed English in middle school and then everything clicked in 9th grade 😂

I always feel so bad whenever I see a video or TV show in English that I REALLY want/have to watch because I know that I could also be watching something else in Korean or French 🥲 but I think that you just have to find something in your target language that you have to watch for your personal well-being (I was personally very fond of Miraculous in French).
Ps: I love your attitude, it gives me inner peace ✌️

      •Sashka
      •Schlumpf
•Jasmin Gnu (she also has a podcast)
      •ARTEde
      •unbubble
also as podcast I remember her mentioning Easy German, which normally works for any language for everyone😂

When I started watch your channel to be honest I immediately liked all these methods which you're using because these all methods in combination with these different apps which you described in this wonderful video and also which I saw in your other videos that's really something awesome and the best in my opinion in order to get native in any language, and yeah about me I'm learning and improving somewhere 8 languages and this (🇵🇱🇷🇸🇹🇷🇫🇮🇧🇾🇧🇬🇬🇧) in three languages I can speak almost fluently and this(🇧🇾🇬🇧🇵🇱) and also about other languages, to be honest I started to learn these other languages because I really like explore different interesting about different countries around our the world and I think that's study process of various languages can give me really good opportunities for study information about culture of this country and in general study process of different languages that's very curious and also I want to say to you, thank you so much for such wonderful content about different languages and also I think that's so cool that you can communicate with different people in Korean language, and that you emigrated to this country so yeah your content is awesome.
