I'm Faren. I big chopped in April 2013. I have medium to low porosity hair, that is super dense at the crown. My haircare regimen includes washing my hair at least once a week, regular treatments (protein, olaplex and bond salve) and trims every 3 months on blown out hair. I am not a hair care professional, and I'm honestly still learning my hair.

Yay!!! Yes I'd be glad to do a Redken video! When it's time to wash your hair and revert, maybe give Curlsmith's Curl Rehab Bond Salve a try. I've used it many times after straightening my hair 💜

My scalp started acting up recently, tried the Aztec clay mask and what a difference it made not only on my scalp but my curls as well. No more flakes or itching and curls have never looked better. I forget about the Aztec clay mask sometimes but it’s truly a game changer for scalp issues.

fred was wrapped to impressed and oiled to last - even through the rain (and without reverting).
im with you - i want to do less with my hair ... but how to balance that with a product junkie natural hair channel 🤔🤣😂

Love the monthly hair vlogs! Zinc shampoos saved me from battling an itchy flaky scalp. Maybe try using yours more consistently before your derm appt, might solve the issue!
