Play Ichorid ( A Magic The Gathering Format)

- Dandân is very unique take on Magic The Gathering. However this forgetful fish became super popular just a few months ago. That is awesome for MTG. What’s not awesome is how much building a Dandân costs. This fish ranges from 7 dollars to 22 dollars. That makes this fun magic format to expensive.
Today I present to you, Ichorid, a magic the gathering format similar to Dandân. It makes heavy use of interaction and the graveyard. The best part is it costs less than 20 dollars for the entire deck.

We played a few games of Ichorid. It Rocks!!
Pros: Faster than DanDân, games take from 5-15 minutes & it's INTENSE - not having blockers (ever) means you always have to just take the damage to the face. Double Ichorids are brutal. Gravepurge and Fade From Memory are a blast to play in response to each other.
Cons: White Mana is way more needed in Ichorid than Red Mana in Dandân - if you get Mana Screwed you are smoked. You can end up with Lapse of Certainty etc.. in your hand all game with no way to cast them. This can be solved by adding a few more White Cycling lands or maybe even 2x Shambling Vents as an extra Wincon and a blocker to add that extra level of strategy that the format is missing. Lifelink would also help makes the games last a little longer. Ebon Charm was another addition to help the Player who is getting smashed comeback.
Overall, really impressed and a great format 🎉🎉
I’m glad you enjoyed it. It was my first attempt at theory crafting this style of deck. I definitely agree it needs some more white mana sources.
Luckily I’m working on a few more Dandân style builds. I already uploaded the red version. I’m still in the process of creating a mono green and a mono white version. I’ll definitely take this input into account for the next builds

Hey I like the Ichorid and other cards but i feel Lapse of certainty is too similar to Memory lapse and the Cave of koilos break the elegance of "5 touches from Ichorid is defeat". Now you wil have to track the 1 life from the Caves of Koilos
That’s a good point. I never even considered that when putting this list together. Definitely need to swap out Caves of Koilos.
