I've gotten a couple vehicles from there. They both needed work to get them driveable. It seems to me there's some behind the scenes bidding to get the prices up over the $500 for more auction fees. Also i see $100 bid increments and wonder how there are $25 snd $50 bids on vehicles.
Hard to tell sometimes what’s going on. But the auction is monitored and they do have the ability to change bid increments to entice more people to bid.
Not much of a downside to putting up a bid around $500 when the scrap weight will bring $300-350, since most cars get hit in the front the grill and hood gets into the profit zone, a good transmission gets you farther in the plus area.
That's what we call in the paint and body industry rebuilt wreck.Whoever painted that is not a red seal painter probably a lot of shortcuts were taken and butchered back together and should not be put back on the road
thats how I feel. thats why I dont even go. I dont want to pay more than i want to pay and if all the cars i want are outbid super fast by the people that fucking work there then makes me never want to go
Another GM rust bucket.....I bought a new truck in 1995.....It started to rust in 3 years.....Hondas and Volvos don't rust out like the General Mistakes junk.
Good video. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and Happy New year too. Man some of those vehicles were scraping the bottom of the barrel like you said.
I'm in the market for an older, reliable chevy or gmc truck with little to no rust (lol) so I appreciate your videos. I have learned alot already.
