Love my folds of honor sequel 33 st2! Took me a minute to figure out the the limb pocket tuning (I'm a little slow)...but once I did got a perfect bullet hole at 10.2 yards bare shaft paper tune. Put the rest at 13/16 and never had to move it. It is easily possible to be very precise with the limb pocket adjustment system. Brilliant system!
I switched to Darton this year and I honestly don't see myself shooting another brand unless they stop building bows. Shot a PSE last year and was always a Bowtech person before then. I will probably still buy other brands to collect and tinker with but Darton is my go-to for everything.
Dammit Dirk,,,, We need that super light natural latex, neon violet/blue/pink Tape, Plastic domed, easy to use "Boogie Nights Diggler" call in production....!!!! I've been waiting for a few years now. Haha
Hi Dirk , Missed chatting with you at the Portland sport show this year. I know Cory but its been awhile since I've seen him after he moved from my local area. I've never owned a Darton Bow but after watching this video I will for sure be looking at them next year. Take care and good luck to all on the up coming season. And Hi to you Cory as well....
Been shooting only Darton since 2017. Bought a Consequence for saddle and tree stand hunting and have a Sequel 35 ST2 on order. Even with my 30.5” DL the consequence feels like my old Maverick 2 and XT with the string angle.
I walk back tune get a straight line then throw on a big fixed blade like tooth of the arrow xl solids. They let ya know quick with the solid blades they’ll really plane off. If I’m lucky no adjustments but at most it’s a small adjustment to get them hitting so long as the bow itself is in tune
Thanks for the review. At what draw length was that? I was thinking about geting myself either Veracity or this Sequel 33. Which one you'd recomend? Btw my draw length (with a longer bow) is 31 1/8". Thanks
I’ve had both and the Veracity is a great shooting bow, but this Sequil 33 is just at another level. What I love: The draw cycle is very smooth with a good back wall. I have a shoulder that is sensitive to a hard pulling bow, but this thing is very comfortable. Next, it’s well balanced and holds on target very well, so I can shoot consistent groups. 10 out of 10 🙌🏼
Hell ya! I'm getting a new bow in October and am seriously considering that Darton Sequel. I was really looking at the Athens Axxis but they are no longer in business.
Why was I thinking you shot a PSE? There are several good brands on the market these days. As a long time arrow flinger I never had a Darton, but I don't buy new bows often I might check them out.
Jason and I shot PSE since 2019, but our contract ran out. That coupled with their new ownership and Cory leaving to work for Darton, it was time to move on. Once tuned their bows shot good, but tuning them took a while…….
Nice bow and setup.
Loved the pups hanging out with yall also!

Yeah these Darton Sequels are amazing
Great stuff thanks for posting! Going to get my darton today!! So pumped!
Looking forward to seeing how this bow preforms for you this year.
God bless, brother

My Sequel 33 tuned first shot after initial setup. Very underrated bows.

I shoot a Darton Consequence and it's such a great bow for the Money, I bought it as a recommendation and I was skeptical but I love my bow.
You do know you stuff great job.
Looks good

@@THEBUGLEROFFICIALThanks for the feedback, I sppreciate it.
Have a sequel 31. Love it. Forgiving and accurate but limb failures both top and bottom😢

I’m super impressed with this Sequel 33. You should go test drive one
My first bow was a Darton around 30 years ago! Killed my first buck with it as well.
Heck ya!
All I've shot is darton got a 12 year old ds3800 going to consequence or the sequel next year they are definitely the best
Hey Dirk ❤️🇺🇸🦌
Hey buddy! 🙌🏼
