      Great practical effect. It first came to my attention when Scorsese used it for the first person shots in raging bull to show fatigue.

    I barely noticed the aspect ratio changes and I'm impressed.
    Matching the color grading across the different cameras and lenses is quite a feat because it was done seemless and for some reason it felt big budget despite the isolated jungle locations.
    Yes, other directors use aspect ratio changes all the time but sometimes I find it jarring and slightly annoying especially when it skips back and forth relentlessly (Transformers: Last Knight, and M:I Fallout being the biggest offenders).

    who cares? We all know Spike Lee is a great film director... but how about some info when Spike Lee was shooting when he had no budget?
    I am trying to debut with my short musical and can’t get £30000 for it.. and Spike Lee shoot for $175000.... seriously?

    Even though his version of OLDBOY wasn't worthy, I still found Lee's approach decent

      Honestly I have never watched any of his movies but just seeing what he could accomplish in those early films and how visually stunning they are, and how he went about doing them, it's pretty impressive. Maybe he should just stay away from genre schlock
