flight 232 was a miracle although 100 people died, 185 survived, captain Haynes and his crew is legend for landing the plane with just just thrust controls....
I mean the DHL one was the best one by far in terms of survival. Not one piece fell off during the landing (atleastthat i know of)
@@TheAviationGuyID
but the impact still killed 100 people... it's sad but at the end of the day there were also many survivors
@@gabrielchinzz3332 uh what?
@@gabrielchinzz3332 i was talking about DHL who landed back in afghan safely with no hydraulics
@@TheAviationGuyID
oh my bad
I love how he is putting both hands on throttle and goin crazyyy
I really dislike it, as it seems so "hyper-active" and staged, same with his constant screaming, in person he´s much calmer and I never like YT´s with clear YT-personalities, just a me thing ofc
@@Lucca-An-Aspiring-Poet Yeah, that's just you. :) I kinda like Swiss 001's personality. Spices up aviation a bit.
@@Lucca-An-Aspiring-Poet i dont think swiss reaction thingy is stage.. maybe thats how he actually is, but i respect your opinnion
The violence of the movements were hilarious lool 😭😭😂😂😂
because hes percroming differential thrust
Swiss: what have we learned today?
Also Swiss: nothing.
Self-irony.....
wow, Swiss himself liked my comment. By the way, since that happened: Swiss, would you like to share one of your next streams with someone? For example, with such a Russian streamer as "Broken Video" (He has 43 thousand subscribers) ?. Nice person, streaming full flights at a very serious level in the X-plane and in addition a real pilot (L-410 UVP aircraft). You can find his instagram under any of his streams. I offered him an idea to stream with you, he said that he did not mind and that he might come up with something in the future
When I was first using X-Plane 11, it was the free trial. I tried flying with differential thrust in the Zibo 737 in X-Plane 11 after finding the engines (and everything but the stick) were still usable after the 15-minute limit. I found it extremely difficult, but I was actually able to land twice in five attempts. And yes, I found the flaps and reverse thrust to be my friends. Flaps helped me deal with phugoid oscillation (the slow up-and-down motion caused by an imbalance between thrust and lift that would normally be trimmed out). Actually stopping that motion involves adding thrust just before it dives, then taking away thrust just before it climbs. If you do it right, you can even get the plane to maintain a certain attitude (continually climbing to avoid terrain or constantly diving to approach a runway). Reverse thrust helped with pitch control. (By the way, part of the reason why JAL123 couldn’t land was that they had also lost their vertical stabilizer, so they also had to deal with constant Dutch roll.
Hats off to the DC-10 crews who had no hydraulics and had to fly using only differential thrust
That Centerline is absolutely perfect, nicely done Swiss💯😂
hi
But it's still in the edge of taxiway lol
Hey remember me
Do you still remember me?
If you guys are asking me that I unfortunately dont :(
I like how swiss provided the camera for the thrust lever inputs
"What's the ground doing here" just got me exploding 🤣🤣
btw reverse thrust is pull back the short levers and push the long same time forward so you have rev thrust toggelt and not set
When your parents bought a flight controls for your pc in Christmas but they can’t afford to buy a yoke
Lol funny
WE CAN TRUST IN THRUST
-Swiss001 2021
throttle cam was the funniest thing ever
Plot twist:swiss actually flexing his Differential-able thrust master
Nice lego yoke
Sad that you didn't talk about JAL 123, Captains managed to keep the plane in the air for *32* minutes.
520 deaths, only 4 survivors
:(
oh yeah that other 747
But they were even more fucked up then this, poor people
There was more but help did not come immediately so some of them died after surviving the main crash
@@leeyuheng1966 more than 100 survivors simply froze to death because help came, ATTENTION, after 14 HOURS
@@noobrider6734 The number of initial survivors is more likely to be in the 5 - 20 range as survivors only reported hearing a small number of voices. It is also pretty unlikely for the search & rescue helicopter to miss the survivors if that many people survived the initial crash. While the gross negligence of the Japanese authorities can not be understated, suggesting a number in the hundreds is absurd.
"The yoke break off"
*proceed to show top gear clip
Top Gear was some 2000-2010s nostalgia. :) I definitely binged this show in 2013.
@@thatguyalex2835 OG Top Gear is always the best
@@dislikebutton9297 Yep. :) The Grand Tour is also good, but the episodes come out once in a blue moon. Lol...
I haven’t watched Swiss in a year and it is just so good to be back.
0:33 this was the first time Swiss ever asked to subscribe
He couldnt have gone crazier with the thrust levers lol
Love the videos A+ - Keep posting! #Swiss001 #planecrashes #emergencies
Flaps and speedbrakes are hydraulic too :)
but they're separate systems so its possible to have a failure of the control surfaces but not the flaps and speedbrakes
Your videos are so amazing. You edit them very nicely
Love your videos. Maybe u can do irl flying videos, That would be great!
Omg nicks hands r actually going crazy and like he’s doing things so unnecessarily
5:19
I like how swiss is acting like he's flying an actual 747 and its about to smash into the grass
JUST LOOK AT HIS FACE LOL
Plot twist: he connected his yoke after disconnecting sidestick to
The worst plot twist
Reminds me of flight 123 when the 747 has lost all hydraulics and crashed into the mountain
You mean japan airlines flight 123
@@korayergin5485 yep, exactly
8:31 "what the hell is the ground doing here"😂😂
When the hydraulics fail, the control surfaces begin to live their own lives and the plane sways in all directions as it was with J123. So in real life the chances of such an outcome are very small.
9:06 Anser: don't fly with Ryanair001 airlines
14 seconds 👀 love your videos Swiss001!
5:35 "A bit of a bounce"- Swiss001 2021
Swiss001: We are in for another one of those *AHHHHH*
Me: i don't like where this is going.
4:56 when a Ryanair pilot in a 747 loses his hydraulics be like
love the vids
Perfecto
the DHL crew are legends
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait relativly cute hand!!!!! :)
loli have never seen nick so anxious and in every video of his cant be done without the 'butter' word
first solo video
i love how he is riping the levers out of the box
You should start like a challenge series where you make a community poll asking for challenges, imo that would make some nice content but great landing without the yoke tho !
"So what did we learn today ?" - "Nothing" - LOOOOOL
So yeah guys what did we learn today "nothing"
Crazy flight
I was just watching a documentary about united 232 yesterday I really like your content btw if you want to do another video on the l1011. I found a free working download for it and it has a good 3d cockpit tell me if you want me to tell you where to install it.
Swiss001 officially pro pilot
Nice video
I like his hands how hyperactic is :D
Ahh yes flying a 747 with no yoke.
ROOKIE MOVE SWISS
this is the most exciting video I have ever seen!!!!!!! 10/10
Hi guys i have JUST arrived in Italy everything went well
8:29
Bro really just said “What the hells the ground doing here!?”😂😂😂😭😭
0:37 the yoke won't break off so easily, but rather you can lose hydraulics and only have thrust to control the plane using differential thrust
he knows that
Yea bro, imagine trying to climb and u just yank the yoke off😂
@@datdog6300 Lmao
Qhis hands were speaking the tounges of aeroplanes
His hands frantically operating the controls looool 😭😭😂😂😂
Wow you did it 😱😳👍😎 nice work captain
There was once a Japan Airlines 747 that lost the vertical stabilizer and needed to fly like this to have any controls. The pilots became hypoxic and they crashed unfortunately. Delayed rescue caused a lot of people to die.
That's Japan Airlines 123. Hero pilots keeping the plane up in the air for 32 MINUTES without a tail meanwhile other investagators using a simulator kept it for 10~15 minutes
This is death, this is absolutely death now
Swiss001 sure remind me those CVR audio
Lol 😂😂
s i n k r a t e
Hey swiss i got a question do the thrustmaster yoke and throttle work on fsx? I wanna buy it
good a m here swiss from Pittsburgh pa usa! probably the only fan u may have from Pittsburgh pa lol
Have you gotten the reverse thrusts working yet?
LMAO THAT BUILDING u make me laugh so much
9:05 nothing lmao
There is also Japan airlines 123 that crashed because they lost all hydraulics.
The pilots of a DHL 747 successfully performed this technique after takeoff from Bagdad when insurgents fired a rocket and hit their wing, destroying all the hydraulics on the aircraft.
Bro the way he is paniking sometimes😂😂
Nice video.
I hope someone talking about jal 123.. without tail.
0:32 ( screaming from a loud male ) Hammond!!!!!!
No it’s HAMMOND!!! YOU UTTER BASTARD.
interesting...reminds me of a JAL flight
Me too. Sorry for the people who died because of the negligence of those who repaired the plane before the crash....
the fact that you used a 747 probably didnt help
Flight 434 use only Thrust to turn hydraulics are broken because of bomb explosion onboard. During approach I think the elevators begin to respond but the banking still broken but It landed safely in Naha airport in japan
Sorry for short info i didn't watch the whole documentary hihi
Btw my english grammar SUCKS
sorta reminds me of 232 and jal 123. in jal 123 the pilots had to use the thrust to turn the aircraft and the 232 one was pretty similar
0:17 Airbus sidestick to fly Boeing
nice set
Hilariously how he is massaging the throttle all over the place:)Lmao
DHL had that failure sometime.
Lmfao he had his rudders all this time
I did it without flaps or speed break or parking brake it's very hard but possible and landing on the runway on A310 after many times
never gonna give swiss001 up
never gonna let him down
never gonna turn around and desert him
never gonna make him cry
never gonna say goodbye
never gonna tell a lie and hurt him
swiss rolled
This reminds me of Japan Airlines 123
can i ask you a question why is your hand all over the thrust lever and ur face was funny to watch i mean ur reaction
I love how he doesn't put the article befor he says "plane" lol🤣
(For example: "Plane is doing good")
Thaught of the year :trust the thrust
Lmao
Ooh, an airbus joystick? I’ve got one too
philippine airlines flight 434 also had that happened. it was a 747-200.
Cool
Bro my man’s hands are going insane!!
Thrust vectoring?
ahahahhaa it was funny when he said: yeah guys, what did we learned today?
text:nothing
You can see from all the hand movement he does just to show how difficult it is to stabilize the whole aircraft.
he did it for dramatic purposes
Oh i see, i couldnt expect more of it
@@Tigers9596 I never said it wasn't.
So, Yeah guys, what we been learn today?
*Nothing*
Nice
ur amazing
Another one of these epic videos!
you should try kai tak aproach with no hydraulics
swiss 001 turned into captain tamahaka
It's funny how he slouches in his chair when he is about to kill everyone on the flight.
very intense
Once he said smaller space, I instantly said London city 💀💀💀💀💀
This more like a full hydraulic system failure
