I’m high raw Ang I think it’s the ideal diet TBH. Not everything that isn’t raw is unhealthy. I love tofu and tempeh for example. I don’t typically heat process them further (prefer them right from the package) and mixing them with my raw fruits and veggies. Sometimes I will eat beans that require cooking: kidney beans or black beans or fava or black eyed peas etc. These must be cooked to be eaten. Mixing them with sprouted beans like soy or lentils or chickpeas and it’s a fantastic combination. Wheatberry and farro can be sprouted but they are also amazing cooked. Taste is completely different. Tomato paste is technically not raw since it is simply a reduced tomato sauce but it’s a super concentrated source of lycopene because it’s cooked down/reduction. Miso is another technically not raw food that’s incredibly healthy as long as you don’t further heat process it. All the very best on your journey.
Imo raw until dinner is when I’ve felt the absolute healthiest. Dinner being macrobiotic. ❤ After having a baby I started adding some grains to my raw veggie lunch salad and still feel super healthy.
God bless you on this new cooked-food chapter. If i may, i’d like recommend my fav soups: South River chickpea miso and yellow mung dhal soup with chopped onion, garlic and ginger 🙏 🍜 🍜
