in california 1 day equals 2 days served due to overcrowded facilitys. its been like this for decades
Only for serious violent felonies you serve 2/3 in all other cases 1/2 of your sentence. If they send you to a low security facility you only serve 1/3 of your sentence.
They are counting her house arrest as time served. Yup thats california for you. Pisses me off that she got off so lightly cause she was largely to be blamed as well.

The driver/girlfriend of the shooter WAS JUST THAT, the driver.
She was NOT the shooter.
Did she know that her psycho-boyfriend was going to shoot, before he actually did? Could she have stopped him?
She is guilty of not turning him in after the fact.
And, a Court of Law (not the Court of Public Opinion) has sentenced her. Four (4) years is significant, especially during these times when there’s a revolving door and soft-on-crime policy on justice in CA.

If you pick the wrong friends, like the girl in this video, you can get charged with whatever your friends did. Most people say their friends aren't worth going to jail for.

Too many lives ruined in this case, it’s just not worth it to get into altercations with anyone, not on the road not on the street, there are too many crazy people out there. Have something on you when in public, pepper spray, utility knife, etc. As for driving, just mind your own business, don’t even make eye contact with anyone, and never provoke someone, you never know who that person is.
